Chapter 10- Sunsets and pizza

I step around the side of the cabin, deep in thought. It's crazy how much has happened recently, it still seems so surreal like on of those perfect dreams you wake up from only to realise it was just that. A dream.

There were many things I loved about having fame, on of the main things being I could really reach out to people all across the world who might be going through a tough time and just help them through it but at the same time I miss having my ordinary life, being just Eva. I let the cool breeze kiss my cheeks as I place myself down on the grass looking at the breathtaking view, a few days ago I was still the shy girl who made videos on YouTube not expecting any of it to go viral. I pull my phone out and go through my twitter feed, liking re-tweeting and replying to tweets. I love being in contact with my fans, for mainly two reasons. The first one being that I didn't want to let any fame get to my head and become a celebrity who was rude to her fans and the second one being the fact that many of them saw me as a role model, someone who they could rely on to help them. The last thing I wanted was to let them down.

I hear many footsteps behind me, however I don't turn to see who it is. I was paralysed from the beauty of the sunset over New York. Soon enough, everyone from the tour team is sat with me in a small circle on a little spot of grass just drinking in the beauty. Shawn was right, the inspiration from this place hit you like crazy. Beautiful wasn't even strong enough to describe how amazing this scene was.

Soon we all decided to order pizza for dinner and as we waited for the delivery to arrive, which might be a while as the nearest take away shop was about half an hour away we got into a debate about which horror movie to watch. Of course it had to be a horror movie, of all things, they just had to take advantage of the fact that we were staying in a distant cabin that was secluded from the rest of the city...and the fact that I got super scared by horror movies.

"Why don't we just watch a funny movie? Like paper towns or something," I piped up.

"NOO," they all yelled in unison

"It's our tradition, whenever we stay at this cabin we watch one. Your'e one of us now so you join us with our traditions," Shawn informed me. The fact that he said I was one of them made my heart swell with joy, maybe he was warming to me. But then again this is what I thought last time and he told me to return to Canada...there was no telling with this boy. 

Just as the pizza arrives everyone had decided which movie to what, something along the lines of the conjuring. Shawn Andrew and a few of the other band members that I didn't know the names of went to collect the pizza from the door as I sat and watched the trailer, feeling my heart race increase suddenly...something bad was going to happen. I knew it. Horror movies always lead to something bad, right?

As the music in the trailer heightened, which always indicated that something bad was about to happen I feel two large hands grab me making me scream out loud.

"Wow you weren't joking when you said bloody murder earlier," Shawn said laughing as he sat down across from me. I shoot him daggers and switch the trailer off.

"It's not funny you know," I simply reply

"Oh but honey, it is." He says, with his famous smirk still plastered on his face. I swear it never leaves. I glance away and glance back again and when I do, Shawn is still looking at me. He shoots me a wink and continues to eat his food. His eyes never leaving mine. 

I grab some pizza and engage in some conversation with Andrew, ignoring Shawn completely. I might have ignored him but I for one could feel his intense gaze burning through me throughout the entire meal. No one had ever made me feel so confused ever, first he acted like he might like me but then he said he didn't. I'm losing my patience...
