Chapter 7- Couples...

Locking up the door behind me, I head downstairs where everyone was waiting. I was stood in the elevator, thinking. To be honest, I didn't know what I was thinking about. I just had so much on my mind that all my thoughts were jumbled up, like an incomplete jigsaw puzzle. By now, I was done with Shawn. After only knowing him for less than a day, my attitude towards him was like a constant roller coster, I either hated him most of the time or he was tolerable at others. And the thrill part, well, I got that from our arguments. They made my blood boil and adrenaline pump through my veins. I for one, was that weird person who hates and loves rollercoasters at once so I could definitely say I hated Shawn but I for sure did not love him. I don't even think I liked him.

The elevator comes to a halt and I pull the handles on my suitcases dragging them behind me as I walk towards everyone. As I go stand between Andrew and Jess, gaining warm smiles from everyone, except Shawn. Am I surprised? Of course not. Am I annoyed? Well annoyed doesn't even reach what I'm feeling right now.

"Okay guys the minivans here, so let's go get your stuff loaded into it, and then we'll head over to the cabin."
I felt excitement bubble up inside me, I'd heard lots about this cabin and how it was in New York but in the forest areas, more upstate. Away from the rest of the city, with serenity surrounding it and no people except us around. I guess in one way you could see it as being a perfect setting for a horror movie waiting to happen but I suppose I would find out soon.

Considering that the cabin was in the more secluded parts of New York almost on the edge and it was a while away from the hotel we were staying in, which was based in the heart of the city so it would take a while to get there. I quickly put my stuff in the back of the minivan and inform Andrew that I'm going around the corner, to the small shop to grab something to drink, and we agree to meet here again. I make my way to the shop, occasionally being stopped by a few fans to take some pictures and once I get there I scan the multiple rows for something I might like to eat or drink and soon enough settle for a few bottles of water, a couple of Hersheys bars some doritos and cheetos that we can all share on the journey. I swiftly turn on my heel and bump into something, or should I say someone, causing me to drop everything I held in my hands. I gaze up too the mysterious guy I had bumped into, Shawn.

"I would apologise, but it's you so oh well," I say as I bend down to retrieve the items I had dropped.

"Whatever Eva," he says glaring at me as I stand up brushing any dust that had gathered up on my legs.

"Thank for all the help by the way," I say sarcastically, briskly walking past him, except I failed miserably when he grabbed my arm stopping me from moving any further forwards. As I struggle to get out of his grip he stand there laughing

"Shawn this isn't funny, let me go."

"Whats the magic word?" he says teasing me

"Hmm let me think, go to hell?"

"Nope" he replies popping the 'p'

"Shawn, if you don't me go I will scream."

"You'd scream?" he questions arching an eyebrow

"Bloody murder," And as I open my mouth to scream, Shawn's eyes widen and he immediately lets go of me, I shoot him a triumphant smile showing him clearly that I won and stride ahead.

Shawn soon catches up with me whilst I am in the queue and throws a load of stuff on top of the food I was already holding and leans down so he is the same hight as me, until he's level with my ear, until I can feel his hot breath down my neck tickling me, making my heart rate increase and my breathing quicken. When I feel like he's going to whisper something to me he stands up straight after causing that affect on me and hands me a twenty dollar note. When I try to refuse he quietly says

"As much as I hate you, I'm not going to make you pay."

"But-" he starts to walk away cutting me off

"No buts, see you soon gorgeous." he says making me blush and before he leaves fully he gives me a smirk. He planned all of this and I guess we were even now. This boy was so confusing.

Not too long after the queue had finally died down and it was my turn, I approach the person who works at the store flashing her a smile and grab the two ten dollar notes to pay for the items. There was no was I was going to let Shawn pay or even use his money for that matter. A she scans my second item, she looks at me and says

"Aren't you a singer?"

I chuckle slightly "Yeah I am,"

"Oh, um I'd hate to bother you and I am very sorry to ask but I believe my daughter is a massive fan of you she talks about you all the time so could you possibly sign something for her?"

"Oh, of course! It's no bother at all honestly, your daughter is one of the reasons I can go on tour and do all these amazing things. I love every single one of my fans" I quickly scribble my messy signature on the phone case the lady had handed over to me and flash her another warm smile, gaining one in return.

I also dive into my bag and find a few of my personalised guitar picks with my signature on the back that I keep to give out to fans and hand one of them over. The lady thanks me again and again, and informs me that her daughter is coming to one of our last stops back here in New York and that she will also thank us as she has VIP tickets. This of course makes me chuckle, to me it's just a small act of kindness but them it can mean the whole world and make such a difference. It was truly amazing. I wish more people would understand how even being a tiny bit nice to someone could help.

I quickly put the food items into a plastic bag and thank the lady, and as I'm about to walk out the shop the lady says to me;

"You two would make a good couple, you and that boy I mean,"

"I already have a boyfriend," I mutter feeling the smallest pang of guilt and walk out the shop. What seriously happened between Shawn and I?

Another update wooop, I'm trying to do one every week but I'm sorry if I can't with school and everything, I am trying my level best though!!
