+ THIRD PERSON POV!
追いかける • DON'T RUN AFTER ME . .

"Oi! You there! Stop running!" A finger was extended.

"That isn't going to help, rat!" Solar says, in between his pants, "Just so you know, you're really heavy!" He snarls at the boy, laying comfortably in his hands as he carries him, running. "How much do you weigh anyway, you barely eat!"

"Oops." Cyclone grins mischieviously, making a peace sign with his two fingers. "I'm clumsy. That was an accident. You know how bad I get with puddles, right?"

"That isn't a reason to trip and break your leg!"

"It's not like I know that it's going to happen.." The blue-eyed boy masks his smile, "By the way, you're really strong!" He pats his partner's chest, in an attempt to boost the boy's ego up. "No wonder girls like you."

And of course it did accelerate Solar's pride.

Like swirling fire, Solar began to pace faster, his legs turning into a cartooning blur. "Just so you know," He huffs, two strips of air blowing out of his nose with ego, "I'm just doing this for the-"

"Yeah, yeah." Cyclone rolls his eyes playfully, "The justice of this world. We get it, old man. Now can you race faster than Usain Bolt himself?"

"Are you challenging me? This isn't the right time."

"Everytime is the right time if you make it right." The bright-eyed boy snorts, crossing his arms as he feels the ache driving down his back. The vibrations from Solar's beast-like steps was starting to affect his coziness.

Solar inhales sharply, his feet running against steel as they proceed to enter the train tunnel. "Crap," He snaps with a growl, eyes searching for any signs of the guy, "I think we lost him, Cy."

"That's to be expected."

"Please tell me that you have a plan."

Cyclone ducks his lips, eyes rotating upwards in thought, "Why, yes. There's several options, really. But saying them would let them capture us instead."

"Capture us?" And before they knew it,

They were mercilessly surrounded.

"Put your hands up!" Armed police shouts through the tunnel from both ends, and Solar turns, sweat starting to bead on his temples. He drops Cyclone onto the ground, choosing to raise his hands instead. "Put your weapons down!"

"Aish, Solar.. can't you be gentler next time?!" Cyclone moans in pain, struggling to get up on one leg. He managed though, and rubs his rear.

Seeing that the injured boy had somehow gotten onto his other feet, the lined officers raised their weapons, aiming them at him. "Get down!" The commander shouts, black sunglasses shading his eyes.

"Fine, fine~!" The blue-eyed boy lifts up both hands, all whilst limping. Solar took notice of this and wraps an arm around his partner's waist to support the undivided weight. "Fussy, aren't you?"

"Drop your weapons!" They repeated again.

"I have none, you boxer wannabes." Solar cocks his head to the right, exhaling slowly. "You guys got the wrong people. If you were finding the criminal, then congratulations- you let him escape."

"Don't lie to us," The safety pin was off, "We know you're them!"

Solar's brow twitched, "Stubborn, are we?"

"Urgh," Cyclone held the side of his waist, feeling the pain start to course up his torso. "I hate pain." He whispers, underneath his breath. "And you guys are making this take too long for me to bear.."

"Cyclone." Solar gulps, setting his jaw as he felt the menacing aura that suddenly surrounds them both. "Not now. They're innocent. They've been fed false information, tracking them down to us."

"No." The said boy tries breaths sharply.

"What do you mean, no? You know that they have nothing to do with us. Remember what Earthquake told us to not do?"

"Get involved with the police." Cyclone answers.

"Exactly." Solar whispers, underneath his breath. At the meantime, he was busy shifting to make sure that his secret stash of potions wouldn't accidentally break in the awkward position, "Don't."

"Do I look like I care?" The latter raises his head.

Seeing how determined the boy was, the alchemist gives up, preferring to look away. "And what's your plan, once we're done with it all?"

"Leave them be, I guess. I don't know. We can think about their bodies later! I-I'm itching to kill them.."

"I have nothing to do with this. Slaughter them if you want to, but don't include me in the reports. Oh, and you're going to be the one filing it."

"Deal." Cyclone grips Solar's hand on his side and forcefully tears it off, his eyes fixated on the crowd of officers in front of him. His body starts to glow, his eyes radiating a bright shade of cerulean blue. "I don't care about the innocent."

"This kid." Solar runs a hand through his hair, tugging on them slightly. He knew his companion well- a little too well. "Goodluck. Don't die on me, bud."

"I should be the one saying that!"

"Shut it, rat. Spare some mercy, if you can."

Cyclone extends his arms, his tips of his digits flickering with familiar white light. "Mercy isn't in my dictionary, Solar." He looks at his ally's disappearing back, "You, out of all people, should know that."

Solar says nothing, preferring to enjoy the long walk down the underpass, accompanied by the gut-wrenching screams of those ruthlessly butchered.

He, himself, needed do things off his agenda.

His agenda didn't involve killing.

But breaking the rules a little wouldn't hurt, right?

"Show's about to start," He says, slipping his white gloves on. The orange patterned slits in the hand wear starts to seep into his body, as neon yellow light burst forth around his figure.

"1, 2, 3! Destroy him!" Terrified, the army starts to shoot, their bullets barely grazing the supernatural's advancing footsteps. "H-He's quick!"

'"There won't be any commands once this is done." Solar leaps into the air, and crashes down onto the roof of the car, leaving a large dent in the middle. He bashes one of them onto the door, splattering blood in the process.

Crap. The commander thinks, fear tolling on his body and freezing in his spot. M-Move! What are you doing?!

He could see Solar's sadistic powers endlessly slaying his henchmen one by one. In that moment, he couldn't help but save himself. Face turning pale white, he scrambles onto his legs and runs to the other way, hoping to save himself.

"I-I'm not DYING! N-Not today!"

A shadow quickly towers over his figure, and he shakily halts in his tracks, slowing down. His own life flashes before his very eyes.

Is this it? Is this the end of me?

"Boo!" Cyclone's face popped in front of him from above, and the commander's eyes rolled to the back of his head. He grins maniaclly, blue orbs widened like saucepans.

"See you in hell, human!"

Before they knew it, his body hit the soil, being the last sound in the one-sided battlefield.
