I hurry into my car and start driving, or my heart is going to explode.

Why did he bother to check if I was cold? His hands were freezing, yet there was a comforting warmth. He hurried to the park to get coffee and a newspaper. But still, when he was sitting beside me I felt secure in his presence but Dr. Rin doesn't seem the kind of person who would behave like this with everyone.

Is he...

"What am I even thinking!" I slapped myself, banishing these thoughts to concentrate on driving.

I park my car but hesitate to come out. "huh...I need to face it after all."

I come out and don't bother to knock at the door when I keep a spare key in My purse. I keep My footsteps low and straight go to My room.

My phone buzzes and the Lock screen shows a text from an unknown number. I tap on that message.

+79*******: It's Rin.

So It's him. I forgot to ask him where he got my number from. Though I guess I don't need to ask this type of question or he will be pissed. I save his contact number as...

Dracula Rin: I'll come to pick you up in the morning at 8. Pack your bag properly because I'm not gonna bring you back home in the middle. Don't make me wait.

Me: Yes, Doctor Rin.

He said he is a vampire so This is perfect. But I never thought Dr. Rin could make jokes like this. I throw My phone on My bed and start packing.

Clothes: done

Makeup: done

Skincare products: done

Toiletries: done

It's 1:45 and I didn't sleep... I go to bed and let myself experience peaceful sleep "Am I forgetting something..." I don't know but I think I am. Anyways! I ignore this feeling and sleep.

I WAS FORGETTING SOMETHING! ALARM!

It's 7:45 in the morning and Dr. Rin will be here soon!

The time it takes me to get ready is 10 minutes.

My front bangs are curled with a hair roller and I apply lipstick with a lipstick brush. I grab all my bags and Check if I've forgotten something.

Oops! I was going to... My cute Stuff toy Octopus. I Pick up my toy and look out of the Window...Dr. Rin is standing there...

I see him standing as I Recognize him by his car. I'm not able to look at him because he is holding an umbrella. He sure cares about his skin.

I grab my phone and look at the time.

"It's...8:40 already" I checked My call history but he didn't call. Did he wait for so long?

I take a deep breath and go downstairs. Suddenly I slipped and bumped my head on the floor "Aaah...It hurts" Shit always happens to me. I show a middle finger to the Stairs and go to Mother to tell her That I'm moving. I know I should have told her earlier but...

I enter into the kitchen. Seems like Father already left for work.

"Come here and eat your breakfast or You'll be late." My mother turns towards me and surprised by looking at the bags.

"Where...are you going?"

"I'm moving to My colleague's place."

"But your father won't like it. Is it the same colleague you slept- I mean spent your night" She avoid eye contact.

"I never slept with him. And I'm moving there no matter what Father says. After all, he never likes whatever I do."

I grab My cheese sandwich "I'm leaving! I'll make sure to come home often."

My heart started running rapidly because of this man standing in front of me doing nothing but Only standing...

Just when he notices me, He leans back against his car, hands crossed. His black khaki pants contrast with the rolled-up sleeves of his grey sweater. His hair falls across his forehead, and the glasses perched on his nose add a Fantastic view...

I don't notice that I'm staring at him and It's obvious.

"Is there something on my face?"

"Oh! No! I mean I was just making sure It's you. It's a very sunny day which is why I couldn't see properly."

"Are you coming or do I have to wait longer?"

I rush towards him and almost fall But suddenly He grabs me by My waist. I suddenly feel intimidated... I feel hotter than before.

I straighten up and He grabs My bag "I'll take care of this. You can sit inside"

I don't argue and do as he says. I relax myself up. It feels like I can hear the sound of my heartbeats!

He sits beside him and stares at me like He has something to say so badly.

"What's wrong Dr. Rin?"

"Seems like I gave you very little time to get ready caused you inconvenience."

"What...do you mean?"

He taps on my head "Look in the mirror"

With a confusing expression, I take a look in the mirror...and I FORGOT TO TAKE HAIR ROLLER OFF! My eyes widen and I try to take that roller off in embarrassment.

"Pfft-" I hear a sound.

"Did you laugh?!" I look turn towards him.

"No. I didn't" He straightens up and starts to drive. Though It's the first time I heard him laugh.

"We can go to the hospital straight and then after work at home."

"Why did you pick me up so early if we had to work?"

He opens his mouth and then closes. Then finally he speaks up.

"I won't adjust my schedule to fit yours. I have busy stuff to do also." 

"Oh yes...Right." I didn't ask him anything else nor did he start any talk. 

We reached the Hospital and as I entered all the nurses stared at me like I was an alien who just landed. I greet other nurses too but they give back with an awkward smile.

I keep looking left and right getting distracted By those eyes I feel upon me. Suddenly I bump My forehead Into something hard.

"Ugh! How did I end up getting hit by a wall"

"Keep your eyes forward or this wall is still walking after you." I purse My lips and straighten up. We separate ways and after changing into my uniform, I ask Ceril who is also a nurse. "Are They staring or is it just me?"

"Of course! Don't act dumb!" she notices my confused expression.

"We're all aware that Dr. Rin took you to his place, and you spent the entire night there. It's striking how he hasn't shown this level of concern for any other colleague" I'm doomed... Everyone knows and Dr. Rin isn't taking it seriously as much as I noticed.

We performed an operation led by Dr. Rin. As usual, He takes around 5 min alone in his office and orders everyone to reach the ward already. If someone dares to check up on him and disobey him...He surely is dead.

We take 3 hours and 56 min to operate. Dr. Rin leaves the ward first and gives the responsibility of finishing to another doctor.

"Ms. Elina, Come with me." Everyone suddenly looked at me and acted dumb that I didn't notice them. I smile at them and leave the ward with Dr. Rin.

"Dr. Rin I think we shouldn't tell anyone that I'm moving to your place." He pauses and turns towards me.

"Are you..." He leans toward me, our faces so close they almost touch "Embarrassed of me?"

e stared at me so closely that My knees weakened.

My chest weighs down, craving something elusive. Electricity courses through me, head to toe. My core churns and my thighs clench.

"Tell me."

"What? NO!NO! I mean...they might misunderstand if they get to know we are living together."

"I see. No worries. Do whatever you like. I don't think about it much."

He left me in the same position and I froze there for like 10 min trying to rethink what just happened...

I just know this much that It's not going to be easy and normal...
