Sick

Trigger warning for puking

~~~~~
Tony hated being sick, but he hated admitting it more.
He's been feeling like shit all day, but he tried to push it off. Peter, though (who had been living with him), noticed him acting off; how he was slightly uncoordinated and pink in the cheeks.
"Mr. Stark, are you okay?" he asks. Tony sighs. "M'fine, kid, I'm just trying to work on-" he starts. "Mr. Stark- sorry to interrupt but- y-you've been working all day. Wouldn't a break be good? You look worn out."
".. No.. No, I'm fine." Tony says. Peter sighs. "Okay. I'm going to a friend's house, I'll be back later." he says. "Alright."
Peter lied.
He walked out of the tower and headed to the temple Doctor Strange stayed at, knocking on the door.
Stephen answered, tilting his head slightly. "Peter Parker. To what do I owe the pleasure?" he asks. Peter sighs, crossing his arms and looking down.
"Sorry to bother you, Mr- Er, sorry, doctor Strange, but- i-it's Mr. Stark.." Peter says, Stephen giving a confused look as Peter continues. "He's been working all day, and that's bad enough on its own, but- I think there's something wrong with him? A-and I was wondering- well you're a doctor so-"
"You.. Want me to do a checkup on him?" Stephen asks, pacing a little. "Please?" Peter asks. Stephen considered, then sighs. "You're lucky I like you, kid. Alright, I'll go."
So, Peter went to his friends house, and Stephen opened a portal to Stark's tower.
Being taken right to Tony's lab, he caught sight of said mechanic almost immediately, however, what he saw caught him off guard.
Tony was hunched over a trash can, throwing up. Stephen frowned slightly, watching as Tony stood up with a groan and turned around.
"Shit-! Wizard dude, good god... How long have you been there?" he asks, going back to his workbench. "Long enough to see you throw up. Stark, you need to rest if you're throwing up." Stephen says, which was responded to with a hard "No." from Tony.
"Stark, now is not the time to be stubborn." Stephen pressed, crossing his arms.
Tony went to argue, when suddenly his vision started to tunnel. "... Oh for fuck sake..." he mumbles, eyes falling shut slowly.
Stephen's eyes widened slightly, mumbling a quiet yet quick "Catch him." to the clock of levitation. The cloak came off of him, flying over to Tony and stopping him from hitting the ground.
Stephen walked over, pulling Tony up into his arms while the cloak slung back around his shoulders.
Doctor mode kicked in, and Stephen looked at the ceiling. "Hey, Friday?" he mumbles. "Yes, Dr. Stephen Strange?" the AI responded. "Get me a thermometer, please."
A thermometer was given to him shortly, and he took it, taking Tony's temperature.
"102 degrees..." (That's 39° degrees Celsius) Stephen mumbled. "Christ, that's dangerously high.. Alright." he says, taking Tony to the bathroom and running lukewarm water, setting Tony in carefully.
Due to his high temperature, the water felt cold to Tony, which woke him up. "F-fuck that's cold-..." he mumbles, going to move but being stopped by Stephen.
"Strange? What- wh-where am I? Why am I.. In a bathtub with my clothes on, i-it's cold.." Tony says.
"It's not, actually. You're in your own house, your own bath, and I wasn't going to undress you. You're running a severely high fever, which is why the water feels cold to you." Stephen says, using a cup to pour water over Tony's forehead, making him wince a little.
"Yeah?.. Why do you care if I'm running a fever? Hell, why are you here? Taking care of me?" Tony mumbles, pain laced in his voice.
"... The boy asked me to check on you. He was worried. Besides, I'm still a doctor. I help people when I can, I'm not just going to let someone die." Stephen said.
"... First off, god dammit Peter.. Second, I wouldn't have died." Tony says. "Actually, had your fever gotten higher, you could have." Stephen says.
Tony just groans, head falling back and closing his eyes. Stephen looks at him. ".. How are you feeling?" he asks. "Like shit.." Tony mumbles. "Well do you feel any cooler?"
"A little..." Stephen nods. "Then time to rest." he says, draining the water and doing a spell to dry Tony off. "Pick him up, would you? I don't want him collapsing again." he mumbles to the cloak, which went over and picked Tony up.
"The fact that this thing is sentient still gets me.." Tony mumbles. Stephen gave a very small smile in return, going to Tony's room and having the cloak set him down. "Rest up, Stark."
Tony groans, but couldn't put up much more of a fight as he drifted off to sleep.
