note: I know this is a IronStrange/FrostIronStrange books but there are those scenes in this chapter and I needed a new chapter- feel free to comment if I have something wrong because I don't have much knowledge about chess and I am just getting this from searching and movies enjoy!

"Chess is like life. The white and black need to both move and if you move the piece to the wrong path you will lose something and in the end one of the sides will win against the other"       - Starlight_47 

"Pawn to queen four for white..." they hear someone murmur and the sound of a piece on the board "Then pawn to queen four again for black" then another piece is heard. Who is murmuring those words? They all thought and walked closer to the living only to be surprised with the sight they saw...Tony Stark playing...chess!?

"Queen bishop 4" Tony said moving the white piece then clicking the timer then moving pawn to king four for the black side and clicking the timer again and putting both hands under his chin thinking on what piece to move next.

"Dear?" Stephen says taking Tony out of his thoughts and a look of surprise changes his calm features "When did you guys get here?" Tony asked the look of surprise still seen on his face " We got here when you were saying Pawn to queen something" Clint says and looks at the chessboard and the timer "You play chess?" Steve asks and Tony hums as a yes and continues moving a piece.

It was silent for a few minutes and it was Tony who broke it "Any of you know speed chess?" he asks "The one where you're fast while playing chess?" Clint asks "Great description Barton" Tony says sarcastically "Well thank you babe" Clint says, batting his eyelashes at Tony and receiving a hit on the head by Natasha followed by a "Ouch!" from Clint

"Seriously, do any of you know how to play it?" Tony asks while fixing the board "I don't think anybody but you knows how to play "speed chess" Tony...Maybe you can show us how to play it?" says Steve "Fine fine I'll show you guys...here speed chess is like this"

*After showing them*

"Got it?" Tony asked while fixing the board "Wait what!? Do it again! That was too fast!" Clint says "What part of the name "speed chess" do you not get birdbrain" Tony says annoyed "Tony he was just saying it was too fast maybe you can slow it down a little?" Steve says while Tony sighs 

"This is just like normal chess but the speed is increased" Tony says while fixing the board and closing it "Where are you going love?" Stephen asks "Bedroom, I'm going to see if there are more ways to checkmate my opponent if other methods doesn't work" Tony said walking away "Well that was weird" Clint says, going to the couch.
