While talking to Ross, Rhodes heard padded footsteps behind him, and he guessed they didn't belong to Bruce. 

"Arrest them," Ross ordered and Rhodes nodded. "Will do, sir."

He swiped through the hologram and Ross faded away. Rhodes turned and stared at the rogues standing before him, accompanied by Natasha and Vision. 

So that's where they went, he thought bitterly, crossing his arms while glowering at the large group. 

"Colonel. Rhodes," Rogers greeted, giving Rhodes a nod and holding out his hand. Ignoring him, Rhodes took some steps forward, ignoring the occasional creak of his braces. "Why are you here?" Rhodes spat, eyes flashing. 

"We need your help, Rhodey," Natasha said. "You don't get to call me that," Rhodes growled. "You...you all betrayed Tony's and my trust. Especially you, Rogers. Do your friends know how you almost killed him?" 

All eyes turned to Rogers who looked conflicted. "Rhodes, hear me out. Earth just lost her best defender a-"

"Don't bullsh*t me, Rogers! I know that!" Rhodes exclaimed, the glare not wavering from his face. "It's all over the news," a different voice said. 

Natasha's eyes lit up as Bruce shuffled into view. "Bruce," she breathed, a smile lighting up her features. "No, Nat, I...you know what you did. All of you. I'm not forgiving you. You all hurt my friend," Bruce said, eyes pinned to the ground.

Rhodes' StarkPhone suddenly rang, and he picked it up, seeing Tony was calling. "Accept," he said, and Tony's face came into view. "Hey, honeybear," he greeted, voice too easygoing for Rhodes' liking. 

"Tones, are you seriously on that ship?" Rhodes asked. A look of pain came across Tony's face. "Well, yeah, kinda, I guess you could say that. But, to be fair, I had to save that wizard and my kid and now we're all headed to space," he rambled. "Hi, Uncle Rhodey!" Peter's voice exclaimed, and the kid beamed. 

Rhodes' eyes averted to the rogues behind him. "We've, uh, got some guests," he said, and Tony's face fell. "Oh. They're...back?" Rhodes nodded. "Yep." Tony was about to speak before the line started cracking and the signal went out. 

Throwing the StarkPhone at the wall in frustration, Rhodes started pacing. "Rhodey, please calm down. We don't have to stress," Sam reasoned, about to speak again before Rhodes turned, eyes full of anger. 

"I'm allowed to stress out, I saw my idiot of a husband fly up to that goddamn ship and-" Stopping himself, Rhodes allowed his eyes to watch the shock showing on the rogues faces. 

"H-husband?" Wanda asked, voice shaking. 

Rhodes rolled his eyes. "Like you guys care," he growled. And with that, he walked off to get his husband. 

This oneshot was short, I admit, but I hoped you enjoyed my small version of how the rogues' return should have gone.
