Chapter 230: Low Key Loki A Request by LeonPARKOUR- REVAMPED
(As stated in the original chapter, I know that Tony and Steve technically met in the first Avengers movie. But we're going to pretend that they met way before that and are together. This was a request I got from someone, I'm only following what the person asked of me.)
Anyway, on with the story.

Monsters were attacking New York, Peter was told to hide in his room by his dads, while he and the team fought against the Chitauri and Loki. As a ten year old boy he was terrified, what if one of the monsters came to get him? But he knew his parents would come to his rescue. He hid under his bed, but could glance every once in a while to see aliens or his father flying around in his suit.
All he could hear were the sounds of crashes, screaming, and weapons being used. It startled him. Massive explosions, but Peter could also hear the sounds of his dad's arc reactor. A few minutes went by, "Is it over? Did we win?" The boy thought. But his thoughts were interrupted, Peter heard laughter, it was coming from inside the tower.
The laughter was... maniacal, it sent shivers down Peter's spine. He felt uneasy, but for once in his life he had to be brave, it's what Harley would do. So he crawled out from under his bed, grabbing his baseball bat, slowly opening his door and stalking closer to the random person invading his home.
As Peter got closer, the grip on his bat never faltered. He finally reached the living room, and saw a man wearing a green and black outfit, dawned with a gold horned headpiece. "In that outfit, he's definitely a bad guy." Peter thought.
He snuck behind the couch, peering out to get a better look at the man. Once Peter did, the man cocked his head to the side, Peter ducked back behind the couch, praying the bad guy didn't see him, but it was too late, he'd been spotted. The man smiled, unbeknownst to Peter, "I suggest you come out, hiding won't do you any good." He said.
Peter had to act quickly otherwise he'd be toast, he gripped his bat harder. If he ran, the man would try and hurt him, but if he hid he'd be easily found. Seemed like it was a lose lose situation, but then you'd be wrong. It was a good thing Tony hid what he liked to call a: 'stranger danger' button by the bar. Probably not the best place to put it, but Peter didn't have time to think about it.
Peter got up and turned to the man, surprised it was a tiny human child instead of one of the many heroes outside fighting his minions in the sky and streets. "Who are you?" He asked.
Peter countered back, "Who are you?"
Loki held his staff at his side. "I asked you first, tiny mortal."
"I'm Peter Stark-Rogers. I assume you're the bad guy trying to ruin New York?" The boy inquired.
"Well, you're right, but I'm trying to take over the world, not just your little 'New York'." Loki replied, thinking this place was pathetic compared to Asgard.
Peter held his bat closer to his chest, "Yeah, but you won't succeed. If America can fight in five different wars and win you don't stand a chance."
Loki grimaced, "My name is Loki, god of mischief, and I could easily beat you with my powers. Tiny mortal."
"I'd like to see you try Mr. Loki, besides I may be tiny but I have more intelligence than you." Peter replied confidently, he wasn't necessarily confident but he's not going to let Loki know that.
"How old are you?" As Loki kept talking, Peter was slowly making his way to the bar, closing in on the button that would alarm his parents to come help.
The kid answered, "I'm ten."
"Only ten centuries? So young!" Peter was confused, if he was ten centuries old he'd be dead.
"No, Mr. Loki, I'm ten years old." Peter corrected.
Loki wore an expression of horror, how could someone so small be so old? "Why are you trying to take over the world Mr. Loki?" Peter asked, he was quite intrigued with the god.
Loki dawned a smirk, "Well to rule over you of course. I won't fail and once I win, you'll have to bow to me."
Peter wasn't fazed, "Many people have tried to take over, but they were defeated. That's why you're gonna lose too."
"Are you the only one in this tower?" Loki asked.
The ten year old wasn't going to lie, "Yes, my older brother Harley is at science camp, he'll be back here in a few days."
Loki understood being a younger sibling himself. "I have an older brother too. I despise him."

Peter finally made it to the button, and didn't waste time pressing it. While flying around blasting his weapons at aliens Tony got a notification, and Jarvis spoke to him to alert his creator. "Sir, the stranger danger protocol has been activated." He said.
Tony knew what that meant, "Tony, I got the notification too, Peter's in danger." Steve said, his voice laced with worry.
Tony reassured his husband, "I'll go get him, don't worry Steve."
Tony quickly flew up to the tower, seeing Peter with Loki who was showing his son magic. Why the heck was Peter with Loki, is Loki putting a spell on him. Tony used his balcony and walked in, meeting his son's gaze.
Peter who looked completely unharmed. "Peter? Bud, what are you doing?" He asked.
Peter turned and smiled at his dad, getting up from the couch and running into his fathers arms. "I'm okay dad, don't worry. Mr. Loki was showing me his magic." He replied.
"Bambi, head to your room. I'm gonna talk to Loki and I need you to be safe, okay?" The ten year old nodded his head and went off into his room.
Tony's eyes turned cold, "If you hurt my son, we're going to have more of a problem."
"Oh don't worry Stark, your boy wasn't harmed. He was surprisingly un-insufferable compared to other humans." Tony knew what the god was implying, but he didn't care. As long as his son was safe.
He needed to distract him, in the only way he could think of at the moment. "Would you like a drink?" Tony asked.
Loki stood there puzzled, wondering what was this man's plan, "Stalling me won't change anything."
"No, no. Threatening. No drink? Are you sure? I'm having one." Tony said, making his way to the bar fixing himself a drink. Though it wasn't alcoholic.
"The Chitauri are coming. Nothing will change that. What have I to fear?" Loki asked.
Tony looked up at him, shrugging his shoulders, "The Avengers. That's what we call ourselves. We're sort of like a team. "Earth's mightiest heroes"-type thing."
"Yes, I've met them." Loki said in an annoyed tone.
Tony had to give credit where it was due, "Yeah. It takes us a while to get any traction, I'll give you that one. But let's do a head count, here. Your brother, the demigod, a super soldier, a living legend who kind of lives up to the legend."
"A man with breathtaking anger-management issues, a couple of master assassins, and you, big fella, you've managed to make every single one of them mad." Tony explained.
Loki stated, "That was the plan."
Tony said, stepping forward towards Loki. "Not a great plan. When they come, and they will, they'll come for you."
Loki didn't care, "I have an army."
Tony one upped him, "We have a Hulk."
"I thought the beast had wandered off..." Loki trailed.
Tony scoffed, exclaiming, "You're missing the point! There's no throne, there is no version of this where you come out on top. Maybe your army comes and maybe it's too much for us but it's all on you. Because if we can't protect the Earth, you can be darn well sure we'll avenge it!"
