I didn't know what to call this chapter. I was just feeling it today. All will be explained after the chapter.

Peter was upset today. Why? Let's go back to the beginning.

Peter woke up to the sound of his alarm going off telling him it was time to start the day. Today was his first day of school. They are all going back virtually because of quarantine. He goes into the kitchen to get breakfast, and he goes over and greets Tessa who is laying on the floor panting heavily.

Tessa hasn't been doing well lately and Peter knows she probably won't be around at the end of the week with how fast she was deteriorating.

Peter goes back to his room to get ready for class. Today he has AP World History, AP German 5, AP Calculus, and AP Lit. He opens his computer to sign onto his first virtual class which is just a home room class that Midtown started doing.

He tries getting onto the class, but it doesn't work. He texts Ned and MJ to see if it is working for them. They tell him it isn't and it has something to do with the school. Eventually he does get on the class.

His next two classes go smoothly without many kinks. He then closes his computer and goes to make him self lunch before class starts up again.

His next class is AP Calc. The teacher is nice, and he has a few friends in the class. Finally he has his last class of the day which is AP Literature.

His teacher is amazing and funny. The only thing she had them do was say their name and an interesting fact about themself.

All in all it was a pretty good day, but Peter knew with his luck it wasn't going to last long.

Peter goes into the main living space of his apartment and he sees May sitting with Tessa. Tears are streaming down her face.

"Peter, I think it's time," is all she tells him.

"Okay, what time are you taking her?" He asks with tears streaming down his face.

"4:40 is the only time the vet could get her in. I would say goodbye."

"Okay Aunt May."

He goes over and sits next to Tessa, and starts petting her slowly.

"It's okay baby. May will take you to the vet and you will finally be out of pain. I will miss you girl."

He sits with her until May says it is time. He then slowly picks her up and takes her to the car. He puts Tessa on the ground of the front seat, and May gets in the drivers seat.

"I will be back as soon as I can. If there is something the vet can do to help her stay around longer I will take it, but this is probably the end."

"I know Aunt May."

Peter bends down and pets Tessa one more time before he closes the car door and walks back to the apartment. He sits on the couch and cries. It is the hardest thing in the world to lose a pet especially one that has been with you your entire life. That is the terrible part about owning a pet. You get attached and then they pass. He knows taking her in was the best choice. It may not have been the easiest choice, but it was the right one. In the words of Dumbledore: We must all make the choice between what is right and what is easy.

That night Peter and May sit together eating ice cream and binging Outer Banks.

Here is the reason behind this chapter: this is pretty much what happened to me today. It isn't completely accurate, but it is pretty close. I changed it because of Peter's lack of family. Today was difficult, but I just have to keep going. I will miss my dog, but she is now up with my uncle and my cat, so she is happy and in a better place.
