I guess you could say that the weather will represent someone's feelings. Especially in Peter's case.

The forecast said it was supposed to be sunny and hot. But it ended up being dark and gloomy. Quite accurately representing how Peter's been feeling.

Nobody knows it, but he's been experiencing serious PTSD. Ever since Toomes had dropped that building on him, he's been waking up every time he tries to sleep feeling like he's under the building again.

Not to mention he's alone. His Aunt May had left him a note saying that she had gone to he grocery store to get some food to make some meatloaf. That was the only thing that managed to get a single, pity full chuckle out of the boy. So he decided to go out as Spider-Man to patrol.

He was just sitting on top of a building when he heard an explosion. He was immediately on alert seeing smoke not too far away. Peter quickly stood up and swung towards the explosion.

What he found was nothing but unsettling. The grocery store was on fire with a lot of smoke coming out of it. Peter quickly ran inside to help any people he could find.

After rushing many people out of the building, he ran back in to see if he could find anyone else. He turned one corner in particular and what he found was horrible.

His Aunt was laying on the floor, with a large piece of shrapnel lodged into her chest. Blood was seeping out and was pooling around her.

Peter couldn't believe his eyes. Tears quickly formed in his eyes as he rushed over to try and help her. He screamed and screamed for May to wake up and not to leave him. Yet he knew it was hopeless.

So here Peter is now, two months later, looking innocently out the window watching the rain fall all around the city. His teacher was blabbing on and on about something chemistry that he didn't really care about. He already knew whatever his teacher was going on about.

"Peter? Are you alright?" His teacher, Ms. Boise asked seeing how distraught the boy almost was.

Peter snapped his head towards his teacher giving her a weak smile while nodding his head putting on a fake smile.

"Thinking about how worthless you actually are Parker?" Flash taunted from the seat behind him.

"Not really, just wondering when you'll ever stop being such a jackass" Peter snapped his dull eyes just staring back out the window.

Peter could see the shocked and angry look on Flash's face from the corner of his peripheral vision. Yet Flash didn't say anything else and just left Peter alone.

That was really the only contact the two had during the day. Peter tried his hardest to stay far away from everyone he could making sure nobody would bother him. As much as he wanted to be around Ned, MJ, and Wade, he didn't want his bad mood to rub off on them.

By the end of the day, he had cried once to himself lightly and punched a wall in the bathroom. He wrapped his hand up in some spare bandages he kept in his bag.

He stood in the rain with his hood over his head and his hands in his pockets as he silently waited for Happy to come pick him up to bring him to the compound for his usual weekend with Mr. Stark and the rest of the Avengers.

Everything around him seemed to go in slow motion as everyone walked past him talking happily with their friends as the got into their own vehicles and drove away. The hole Peter had dug himself just seemed to be pulling him further and further down. His state could be labelled as depression. He hasn't eaten, he's unable to sleep, he's gone way too quiet for the normal Peter Parker. But can he help it? On his own?

He was able to see a black car pull up in front of the school, but to Peter's surprise Clint was the one who got out of the car. Peter watched silently as a dizziness took over his entire being. The archer was happily walking towards the dizzy boy with a large smile on his face. Peter was about to greet Clint when his vision entirely disappeared and he could no longer hear. Peter's legs gave out as he collapsed to the ground unconscious.

"PETER!" Clint yelled running forward making it just in time to catch Peter in his arms.

The fact that Peter had just collapsed just in front of his face scared the living hell out of him.

Clint quickly scooped Peter up in his arms, worry taking control when he saw Peter's bandaged hand. What alarmed him most however was how light Peter was.

Clint ran back to the car and placed Peter in the back seat and getting back in almost racing towards the compound.

To Clint, the ride seemed a lot longer than it actually was. He was terrified for Peter who was still unconscious and frankly soaking wet in the backseat. But the second Clint pulled into the garage, his protective father mode kicked in.

He picked up Peter and ran into the building towards the med-bay. He had actually ran past Steve and Tony who were happily walking through the compound when Clint ran past.

At first, Tony was very confused as to why Clint was running and where Peter was since Clint had been the one he sent to pick Peter up from school. That was until he saw what Clint had in his arms.

"What was that about?" Steve asked confused.

"W-W-W-What?" Tony stuttered as he started to shake.

Steve looked down slightly to find Tony shaking violently and a scared look in his eyes. Steve didn't even get the chance to question what was the problem since Tony took off into a sprint.

Tony ran quickly after Clint finding the man he was looking for staring into a room. Tony stood right next to Clint as he tried to calm his nerves seeing his kid laying on the bed being looked at by at least three doctors.

"What happened?" Tony asked not taking his eyes off Peter.

"I have no idea Stark. One minute he was staring at me shocked then he just started falling forwards" Clint replied crossing his arms over his chest.

"Jesus Stark why did you run off?" Steve asked as he ran in. Tony nor Clint said anything so he just looked into the room that they were looking into. Steve was shocked to see a very pale and disheveled Peter laying on the bed.

The three men stood there as a needle was placed into Peter's arm and each of the three doctors walked out. One of them being Doctor Helen Cho.

"Helen? What's happening to Peter?" Steve asked clearly being the only one his the right mind to ask.

"Well after a quick check, we've found that he is quite malnourished and exhaustion. Most likely from going extensive amount of time without food, water, and sleep" Helen explained reading over a clipboard she was holding.

"But that doesn't make sense. Peter's crazily attractive Aunt would never let him go without eating or sleeping for more than at max 4 hours" Tony exclaimed his arms flailing slightly.

"Actually according to my data base as well as Karen's, May Parker has been proclaimed dead for about two months after being killed in an explosion" FRIDAY piped up.

Their hearts dropped.

Two months. Peter has been on his own for two months. Nobody had even noticed that he was alone since he hid it so well.

"Why hasn't anyone done anything about this. Not even CPS has tried talking to him?" Clint asked clearly in shock.

"The CPS data says that Peter told their workers that his grandmother had moved in with him from her smaller apartment but was it when they visited. Clearly they believed him since Peter had no more living relatives" FRIDAY replied getting some sighs out of the people in the room.

"Well either way Peter will be allowed to leave once he wakes up. Just make sure he gets some food and more sleep" Helen told the men. She only got three nods.

Tony looked back into the room but was shocked to find Peter staring right back at him with tears running down his face from his dull eyes.

"Steve, Clint. Go get dinner started. Make sure to let everyone else know about Peter's condition" Tony ordered not taking his eyes off of Peter. Steve was about to protest when Tony yelled, "DO IT NOW!" in fury. Clint and Steve retreated out towards the main room.

Tony sighed before opening Peter's door and pulling up a chair next to the bed. Peter quickly looked in the opposite direction but didn't pull away when Tony grabbed his hand.

"Why didn't you tell me Underoos?" Tony asked trying to get information out of the kid.

"I didn't want you to worry. I'm fine Mr. Stark" Peter replied in a small voice.

"You're fine my ass. You passed out in front of you school. You're alone and clearly haven't eaten enough with your high metabolism" Tony argued making Peter look towards him.

"I'm trying Mr. Stark. It's just hard" Peter admitted causing Tony to sigh.

"I know kid. If anything I know what you're going through. I lost my parents when I was around your age. I went into my dark corner and I started drinking. But I still pushed past it. Just the only thing I ask is for you not to push us away Pete. You're my kid and I'm gonna always be here for you" Tony ranted his own tears falling down his face now.

"I-I'm your kid?" Peter asked a small smile spreading across his face.

"Yeah Pete. You're my kid. I promise on my life I will help you get through this" Tony swore as a new light lit up in Peter's eyes. The kids spark was back.

"Does that mean I can call you dad?" Peter asked innocently a huge smile plastered on his face despite all the tears going down his face.

"Whatever makes you happy kid. Now I'm sure Barnes and Romanoff will probably come bursting down here soon if we don't head upstairs soon" Tony joked wiping both his and Peter's tears away.

"That's my problem. I'm gonna be honest. I don't think I can even sit up" Peter sighed still with a small smile.

"Well then kid I best go get you a wheel chair then" Tony said standing up ruffling his hair but adding, "and some adoption papers. Oh man so much work".

That shocked Peter. But that wouldn't stop him from being happy. This is the first time he'd been happy in a long time and boy did it feel good to him.

"There's a lot more problems for you than just adoption papers dad" Peter joked a small giggle coming from him. Tony stiffened, but laughed anyways quite happy with his decision.

Little did they both know, the Avengers were all watching their exchange through a monitor. Each of them had smiles on their faces happy for the pair. Yet it didn't surprise them at all. They all saw this coming.

Because Tony is an IronDad to Peter, his SpiderSon.
