Peter had been through way too much in his life. First his parents, his uncle Ben, his Aunt May. Then he finally saw the light when he was ten finding Tony and Steve Rogers-Stark standing in front of him. From that day he was their son.
Life had finally started to turn around for the teen. He had an amazing family and he felt like he was on top of the world. He finally felt happy.
Then his damn Parker luck had to take effect on him again. Just simply on a recon mission there was an explosion. All they had found from inside the building where Tony had been, was his helmet. Nothing else.
Peter had been having an amazing day that day but everything crumbled in when he pops had to tell him. Peter had held onto the helmet during the whole story. Poor boy only 15, on his birthday, another family member had gone missing and is most likely dead.
So now here he is. Laying in a cell in a HYDRA base. Holding onto the one thing he never lets go of. Not knowing that the owner of the helmet was in the other room.

"I really miss you dad. Pops and I both. My birthday was a week ago and I really wish you could've been there. I did my driving test and now I can legally drive.. kinda. I know that you aren't dead. I may be one of the only people who still believe that you are. But there's something that tells me that you're somewhere out there. I won't ever stop believing that you're okay and somewhere out there. This cell is dark and dingy. The metal arm and leg itch a lot but I don't really care that they're there. Pops is probably still somewhere out there looking,
But I don't know if I have any hope for myself anymore. Things have become too much. I can feel myself crumbling in. I don't want to give up but it's hard. They've done horrible things that I just want to be able to curl up in yours and pops arms and for you both to tell me it's going to be okay. I-I really miss you dad" Peter helplessly cried as he curled himself into a corner.
The metal arm and leg that had been forced onto him was glistening in the little bit of light that seeped in. He was still in a very tattered Spider-Man suit that was almost completely falling apart. He held onto the IronMan helmet that he was given clutched tightly to his chest. It was the only thing that he was allowed to keep on him since it was disabled and was just a piece of metal. His web shooters were nowhere near him and all he had was a small tinge of hope that was dwindling on the edge.
"Would you cut it out kid. Your speeches are so dumb it's sad" the guard hissed peeking in through the peep hole.
Peter knew not to talk after that. Or else something bad would happen and he's already been through enough.
"Sir! We have a breech. It's the Avengers!" Another guard freaked seemingly running in place.
"Grab the kid. He'd make good bait" the first guard ordered before running off.
The door to Peter's cell opened and a small looking man peeked in seeing the teen in the corner. Peter peeked up glaring with his brown eyes, standing up trying to be intimidating.
Without warning, Peter took off into a sprint pushing past the guard into the hallway.
"HEY! GET BACK HERE!" The guard yelled shooting at Peter.
Of course Peter's senses had warned him so he managed to block or dodge each bullet, but he was still exhausted.
He could hear people shouting so he looked around for any exit. Seeing a metal door ahead he quickly undid the amateur lock before jumping in the room and crouching down.
Peter held the helmet to his chest again calming down from his adrenaline rush. People were now yelling about how he had escaped and he could hear faint thunder and gunshots.
Peter looked towards the room, but what he saw made his heart completely stop.
Chained up with many different chains, hanging in the middle of the room, battered, bruised, and clearly exhausted was none other than Tony Rogers-Stark himself. Peter's missing dad.
The man weakly looked up with hazy eyes to see what had come in. But the most he could see was flashes of red, blue, and sliver. Everything else around him was dark as his vision wavered.
Peter's breathing picked up again as tears built up in his eyes. So many emotions hit the teen at once like a tsunami. Just simply seeing that man he had prayed to see again was right in front of him.
Knocking himself out of his trance, Peter quickly stood up quietly putting the helmet down and walking towards his dad. Tears were flowing down the boys face as his dad tried to see what was coming towards him.
"Dad?" Peter whimpered in a small voice not sure how to react. It had been way too long.
Tony looked up again instantly recognising the voice but not fully believing that it was true. Tony tried his hardest to clear his vision but was unable to do anything. That was until a hand gently placed itself on his cheek that Tony flinched against.
Peter retracted his hand slightly but tried again. He put both his hands on his dad's face before wiping his thumbs gently against his eyes ultimately clearing them.
What Tony was able to see in front of him quickly brought tears to his eyes. His emotions overwhelmed him as he stared at his son. Clearly more matured but still with the innocence of the kid he will always be.
"Peter? Is that you?" Tony asked, his voice raspy from not using it.
"Yeah. It's me dad. I'm right here" Peter replied sobbing silently as he wiped his fathers tears.
Peter reached to undo the restraints holding Tony's arms and legs which caused the man to fall on top of him.
Tony was quickly dragged towards a wall and was laid against it. His entire body was stiff and he would most likely not be able to use it.
Peter very quickly wrapped his arms around his dads torso and started sobbing. Tony allowed his head to fall into his sons hair sobbing himself.
"Oh dad. I missed you so much" Peter cried holding onto his dad for dear life. He was afraid that this would all be a dream.
"I missed you too Peter. I missed you so much" Tony mumbled enjoying the fact that he had his son again. But he knew something was off.
"God dad, I gotta get you out of here. I've heard the guards yelling about how the Avengers are here" Peter rambled as the gunshots became apparent to the two again.
Peter leaned back to get a good look at his dad. But that also allowed his dad to get a good look at him.
Tony's heart lurched into his throat when he could clearly see the metal limbs replacing where his sons actual limbs should be. But it only made it worse when Peter stood up.
"I've gotta go find them. You need help fast" Peter decided preparing himself to head out to the battlefield.
"No. No. No. Peter you can't" Tony pleaded but then he saw what Peter was wearing.
Tony had heard how the HYDRA agents were talking about a Spider-Man. Of course Tony knew who Spider-Man was but not much about him. But he had also heard their plans for him. Tony couldn't believe his eyes when he saw the spider emblem on the suit his son was wearing.
"I have to dad. This could be your only chance. Please just wait for me" Peter told Tony before quickly going towards the door.
Tony watched with two emotions as his son went towards the door. Fear and pride. The fear that something bad will happen, but the pride since the boy he had had a hand in raising was growing to be so strong and selfless. So he just watched with a smile as his son opened the door before running out, silently closing the door behind him.
Peter ran through the hallways, knocking out any opposing forces as he ran at top speed despite how weak he actually was. That was until he crashed straight into a wall. Or what he thought was a wall.
Steve and Bucky had been sneaking through the corridors surprised to see so many agents knocked out unconscious.
"Whats happened here?" Bucky asked kicking one man to make sure he was actually unconscious.
"I have no idea. But we need to stay on guard" Steve replied his shield up high.
They were about to turn a corner when something had ran straight into Steve's shield full forced. The thing had let out a yelp as it hit the floor with a thump. Bucky quickly aimed his gun at the person before they clearly saw who it was.
Peter was laying in the floor holding his head with how hard he hit it. His metal arm cold against his forehead as he assumed he took a wrong turn. That was until he looked up, quickly surprised to see his pops and Uncle Bucky staring at him with two shocked faces.
Steve was the fist to take action, pulling Peter into his arms tightly ignoring he groan he got from the boy.
"Pops.. too.. tight" Peter wheezed patting his arm.
"I was so worried Peter" Steve mumbled nuzzling his face into Peter's hair.
"As happy as we both are to see you, we really should get out of here" Bucky interrupted with a smile on his face.
"But.." Peter was only cut off.
"No Peter... we have to go" Steve cut in grabbing Peter's arm.
"Pops..." Peter was cut off again.
"We need to go NOW!" Steve ordered pulling Peter along.
"BUT I FOUND DAD!" Peter yelled making the two older men freeze.
"You What?" Steve questioned as Peter pulled his arm away.
"I found dad. He's really weak. You gotta help him" Peter pleaded before running back around the corner.
Steve and Bucky quickly followed watching as Peter knocked out a couple agents as they came towards them before harshly pulling open a door and running in. Steve and Bucky both stopped in the door frame as Peter ran towards a man hunched over against the wall.
Tony had pried his eyes open again when he heard the cell door open again to see Peter running towards him with a happy smile on his face. Tony was quickly surprised however when two more people started running towards him. The two he quickly recognised as his husband and his brother-in-law.
"Oh my god Tony" Steve whispered as he dropped to he knees in front of his missing husband.
"Took you long enough. God it was horrible" Tony tried to joke but not stopping any tears that ran down his face.
"Now really isn't the time for jokes Tones" Bucky chuckled pulling on one of Tony's arms and easily placing him over his shoulder.
Steve turned to Peter before happily pulling his son over his shoulder like Bucky did to Tony.
They started running but Steve had caught sight of the helmet on the ground. He stopped quickly, grabbing the helmet and handing it to Peter.
"Oh man I'm tired" Peter mumbled before allowing himself to fall unconscious very suddenly. All the adrenaline disappearing causing his body to shut down.
Steve and Bucky ran with the two people who had been missing, both now unconscious, as they ran towards the quinjet. Many agents tried to stop them but were quickly stopped.
"EVERYONE BACK TO THE JET! MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!" Steve yelled through the coms. He got a bunch of 'okay's back as he ran up the ramp. Bucky had placed Tony down on one of the fold out emergency beds, so Steve placed Peter down on the same one happily folding onto of Tony's arms over Peter and putting Peter's head on Tony's chest.
The rest of the Avengers that had gone on this mission (Pietro, Natasha, Wanda, Thor and Clint) all ran on together slamming the door closed as Bucky started to jet flying them out of there.
Each person took a seat breathing heavily before noting that Steve had a stupid grin on his face, with a IronMan helmet in his hands, staring at something. Now one question came to them. Where's Peter?
"Captain? Where's Peter?" Pietro asked being the quickest to catch his breath.
"Look over there" Steve replied happily pointing his finger towards the bed area. Everyone stood up at once and were quickly relieved to see Peter asleep with a smile on his face, but were given quite the shock to see his curled against Tony. Someone who they haven't see in over a year.
"Is that Stark?" Wanda asked quietly.
"It is" Steve replied shortly.
"But how? Where did he come from" Clint asked but with a smile none the less.
"He was being held captive in the same facility. Peter was actually the one who found him" Steve explained toying with the helmet slightly.
"So if he didn't find Tony, we might've left there without him?" Natasha asked surprisingly shocked herself.
"Yes" was there short reply from Bucky.
"But the Man of Spiders and the Man of Iron are both okay correct Captain?" Thor asked sitting back down in his seat.
"They're both okay. We just want to get them back to the med-bay to be safe" Steve replied.
Everyone went quiet after that smiling at the pair who were happily curled against each other. Reunited finally.

It has been a couple days since Tony and Peter had been found and to say that it had been the best days ever would be the quickest way to explain it.
Everyone was ecstatic to find out that not only Peter had been found, but Tony was found as well. The thing that was the best was that Tony, Steve, and Peter were all glued to each other.
Of course it took quite a while to explain how Tony was found and Peter's new metal limbs but that is a story for another time.
But since it's a quiet morning, Peter and Tony decided to spend some time together just enjoying being together again.
"It was hard without you dad" Peter mumbled breaking the comfortable silence they were in.
"It was hard without you too kiddo" Tony responded planting a kiss on Peter's forehead.
"Please never leave again. I can't live without you. There was so many times where I thought that all hope was lost and I would never see you again. Without you I felt like my world had a crack in it that couldn't be sealed. Pops really did help a lot but I could see that he was in pain too. I loved having pops with me but there would be so many moments where I would want it to be just the three of us again" Peter ranted quietly tears being held in his eyes.
"I know. Kiddo. I know the world may have other things to say. But I will try my absolute hardest to never let anything like this happen again. You have my word Peter" Tony said running a hand through Peter's hair.
"I love you dad" Peter mumbled letting his eyes fall shut.
"I love you too Pete" Tony chuckled letting himself doze off too.
This is how things should always be. Living happy together. Nothing could possibly pull apart their bond. Not with how strong it is.
