Description: It's easy to say that Bucky has one of the worst lives among the Avengers. Who would've known that there was someone else among them that had the same problem he does.

A/N: This is more SpiderSon than IronDad with it (but there is some). It's more like a one shot between Bucky and Peter. I have one more one shot before this one and then a part 2 for The Orphanage.

"What's with the book?" Steve asked as Alexander Pierce pulled out a book with a bright red star on it making two members of the Avengers tense up. But those two members just happened to be 'secretly' strapped to their chairs.

"It's an old German war journal. Filled with many different facts. I've managed to translate some words but not many" Alexander chuckled pulling the innocent card.

"I-Is that why you called us here?" Peter questioned as he started to shake nervously.

"It is. I feel like this could hold some secrets and I want to know all of your takes on the words" Alexander replies before opening the book.

Electricity started to go through the restraints on Peter's and Bucky's chairs so they both bit their lips to hide their screams.

Alexander flipped the screen to show all the words out on display.

"Longing..."

Tears started to form in Peter's eyes as the cover for his arm started to fall off.

"Rusted..."

Bucky pulled on the restraints which caught Natasha's attention.

"Furnace..."

A fat tear went down Peter's face which is what caught the attention of Tony and Steve.

"Daybreak...

Peter's cover completely fell off to slightly reveal the metal under the sleeve of his shirt.

"Seventeen..."

Flashbacks of the past started to flow through Bucky's mind as he could only wish he could go back to the 'good old days'.

"Benign..."

The room suddenly felt really cold to both Bucky and Peter causing a simultaneous shiver to go through them.

"Nine..."

Peter started to whisper a quiet, 'no' over and over again which caused worry to rise in he chests of Tony and Clint who were right next to him.

"Homecoming..."

A different electric shock went through the two men which made Bucky whimper and Peter actually cry out in pain.

"Whoa. Hold on Alexander. Are you two okay?" Sam asked seeing the discomfort.

"One..."

"NO!" Bucky screamed tugging at the restraints that became very apparent to the others.

"STOP IT! DON'T PLEASE!" Peter yelled breaking his own restraints falling to the ground in pain.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO THEM?!" Tony screamed as he kneeled down next to Peter.

"Freight Car..."

Both Bucky and Peter went still in the spots making everyone freak out.

"What did you do?" Natasha asked darkly as she pulled out a knife.

"Winterspinne, Wintersoldat, entstehen jetzt" Alexander growled which made both Peter and Bucky tense before standing up and walking towards Alexander.

"Wen greifen wir an?" Peter asked all sparkle in his eyes gone.

"What's happening?" Wanda asked as everyone backed away slowly. Except for one.

"WHAT DID YOU DO?!" Steve yelled as he threw a punch, only to be thrown back by a strong kick to the stomach from his son.

"Hör jetzt auf" Alexander commanded which made Peter un-tense.

"Die Ziele?" Bucky asked as his arm clenched.

"Die Rächer" Alexander replied before pointing to the Avengers who were now suited up before saying, "töten" which made Bucky and Peter charge towards the Avengers.

Peter quickly charged at Sam who was the first to step forward.

"Yo. Pete. What the hell is wrong with you?" Sam asked shakily holding up his guns. None of them wanted to hurt Bucky or Peter in the slightest.

"Halte den Mund, halt den Rand, Halt die Klappe" Peter growled before kicking Sam into the wall with all of his strength knocking the poor man unconscious.

Peter had only knocked out Sam when he looked towards Bucky who had knocked all everyone else except for Steve and Tony who were fighting against him. Clearly none of them dared step up to Peter (except for Sam. Poor Sam) and just went to Bucky knowing that he wouldn't allow himself to mind the pain.

Peter ran towards Tony and landed a hard kick against the arc reactor sending Tony flying backwards.

"TONY!" Steve yelled before earning a hard punch from Bucky making him hit the wall right next to Tony.

Both Peter and Bucky stalked towards Tony and Steve who were both actually bleeding badly already. Peter picked up a gun that was dropped and made his way towards his parents holding the gun up to them.

Bucky clearly had something hit him since he stopped in his tracks, but only to pick up a gun and start stalking towards Alexander.

"Wintersoldat, das ist genug" Alexander freaked as Bucky came towards him.

Peter paid no mind when he heard a scream and a gunshot behind him since he had Tony and Steve at his feet, eyes closed, and breathing heavily.

"It's okay Peter. Finish your mission" Steve croaked out looking towards Peter who shifted a bit.

"We can't hurt you. Or Bucky. You're family. So go ahead and finish the mission, it's okay" Tony breathed out also locking eyes with Peter.

Peter's arm started to waver but he kept himself sturdy enough.

"We're with you forever Peter. Your dad and pops love you very much" Steve chuckled allowing his eyes to close and slump back as he fell unconscious.

"We're with you to the end of the line kid" Tony added passing out as well.

Peter quickly dropped the gun as he snapped himself out of the trance that he had been put in. His eyes quickly regained the sparkle to them as he stared down at his parents before looking around the room in horror.

Bucky was quickly by Peter's side as the teen crumpled to the ground unconscious. Bucky was the only one who was still awake as he stared down at Peter who was still in a horror filled state. A small sigh left his mouth as he lifted Peter up and put him against the wall before taking everyone to the infirmary to get treatment.

Two months later and nobody had even caught sight of Bucky and only caught glimpses of Peter and he continued to randomly walk into the kitchen, grab two plums, and retreat back to Bucky's room.

All the others were very worried about them but unfortunately, this wasn't the first time this had happened.

"Buck. I brought some plums" Peter whispers as he sat down on the bed next to the man who was reading a book.

"I still don't understand why you keep on brining these back" Bucky mumbled as he took one to eat.

"Studies show that plums help with memory loss. You and I both know that when the trigger words are said, memories just seem to become blurry to us until they decide to come back. Plums have a fact to them that help the brain almost repair itself to put it into simplistic terms" Peter explained as he munched on his.

"Is that true? Well that would've been helpful information a while back now wouldn't have it?" Bucky tried to joke only to earn a small sigh.

"I never thought that I'd ever have to hear those words again. When Alexander started saying them it just made me feel weak and scared. I couldn't break the restraints since I was so scared" Peter whimpered rolling into a ball.

"I know. I know exactly how you feel. I just wish that we would get rid of those words form our heads" Bucky sighed quietly.

"I understand your pain... I really do. But I do have a way to help us. Yet it is something that you and I both know will be hard to do. It might work though" Peter shrugged hating the thought.

"What is it?" Bucky asked looking the teen in the eyes only to find hesitance. But they both knew that they were willing to do anything.

So they didn't hurt the people they cared about.

"Sir. It would appear that Mr. Mini Stark-Rogers and Mr. Barnes have enters Mr. Mini Stark-Rogers's lab and activated code crystal" FRIDAY informed the super husbands who were casually hanging out in the living room.

"What's code crystal?" Steve asked Tony who only shrugged.

"Let's go find out" Pietro suggested before racing off towards the lab.

Everyone quickly walked towards the labs quietly discussing what the code could be about. But just as they were about to walk in, Clint (who was in the front) crashed into Pietro's back who seemed to be unmoving.

"What the hell?" Clint grumbled before standing up.

"W-W-W-W" Pietro stuttered unable to get the words out. What was in front of him seemed to have taken him by surprise.

"Just move so we can see" Tony hissed before pushing Pietro to the side and taking a few steps in before stopping and almost immediately crying at the sight.

Peter and Bucky were both inside two cryostasis chambers. Each of them were strapped to the backs of the chambers that were frosted over, but you could still see who was inside.

"No way..." Wanda gasped covering her mouth with her hands.

"WE HAVE TO GET THEM OUT OF THERE!" Steve yelled but was quickly stopped by Tony who held up a note in his hands.

"Dear everyone, family? Avengers? Let's just go with whoever comes across this. I know you must be wondering what is going on here. I'm sure your first thought was to break us out but there's no chance of that happening. I've calculated every outcome and how long this procedure will take but there will be a timer on them. James "Bucky" Buchanan Barnes and I, Peter Benjamin Stark-Rogers have decided to freeze ourselves. Why? Because we were both victims of HYDRA's tyranny. Trigger words were forced into our heads, and because of those words we almost hurt our family. I was the one who had suggest the idea when we were alone. All I ask of you now, is to tell our family to wait for us. We will come back soon. All we want is to never have to hurt our family again. If you ever find a book with a red star on it, burn it, destroy it, anything to make sure it no longer exists. That's all we ask. To our family, we will see you all when we get out. Don't worry. Don't cry. This isn't your fault. We'll see you soon. Signed Peter Stark-Rogers" Tony read aloud somehow not crying until the end.

Everyone looked towards the two frozen men and vowed through their sorrow and tears, that they will wait and protect them with their lives. Besides, Bucky and Peter would do it for them.

It's time to return the favour.
