Peter woke up in a daze wondering where he was. The last thing he could remember was handing the gauntlet off to Captain Marvel. The whole fight seemed to be in a stand still. But the question remained, who won?

"I am inevitable" Peter heard Thanos say from the area closest to him. Peter was about to close his eyes and prepare to disappear again when he saw the glowing light coming from Tony.

"No. Not dad" Peter gasped before taking off in a sprint towards Tony.

Tony sat up with the gauntlet on his hand glowing bright. In the back of his mind he saw the smiling faces of his family. 'Sorry kid' Tony thought before preparing to snap.

Before Tony could say anything, a tall lean figure was on him ripping the stones away. Tony tried to fight back but the figure won.

Peter held the stones and let them lock into place on his hand. Despite the burning pain that hit him, he snapped with no hesitation, and a wanting need to protect Tony.

For Tony, all he could make out was Peter's worried face before there was a bright flash of light. The man caved in on himself, protecting his eyes, and his heart hammering in his chest.

Seconds later, Tony was able to open his eyes to watch as all of Thanos' army faded away, all before the Titan disappeared himself.

"Tony? What just happened?" Steve asked walking up to his husband.

That's when Tony panicked.

"No. No. The kid. I saw the kid. He had the stones. He snapped" Tony freaked spinning around in circles before spotting the familiar spider kid in the distance.

Tony took off running before skidding to his knees in front of Peter and taking the teens face into his hands.

"Kid. No. C'mon you're okay. You're fine" Tony pressed not sure how to help Peter besides talking to him.

"I just wanted to be like you" Peter whispered wincing as he moved. His charred arm and face throbbing with each given moment. But Peter knew better, he could hear his heartbeat slowing.

"And you were better buddy" Tony responded letting a tear fall down his face.

"Hey kid. You're looking a bit tired there" Steve mumbled gently taking Peter's charred hand into his.

Peter could no longer find the strength to talk to he just looked at Steve.

"Then rest buddy. You can rest now" Tony hiccuped trying to quiet his cries.

Peter looked at both men he had as his father figures before smiling and listening to their heartbeats as his came to a stop.

Tony started to sob loudly as Peter stopped moving and went completely still. The man grabbed onto the body and held it close, happily taking in the embrace as Steve pulled them both into his arms.

Small sniffles are heard around the battlefield as almost everyone there had a connection to the spider-kid.

Everyone looked over as Clint went down on one knee, honouring the fallen hero. Slowly everyone started to take a knee as well. All sending their prayers to the heaven for some sort of miracle. Some sort of miracle that would give them back their fallen angel.

THE END.

"Peter..."

"Peter... wake up...."

"It's the wings... why are they different?"

"They're meant to be fading to black..."

"He's meant to be a fallen angel"

"Time to go home Peter..."

"Have a safe trip... may the light and the dark bend to your power"

"AH" Peter screamed as he sat up. A heavy weigh of his back and two small girls looking down on him

The teen took a good look around only to find himself outside of a cabin. A large cabin at that.

"Sorry to scare you..." the blonde girl mumbled a bright blush on her face.

"You just appeared out a bright flash of light. Your wings are so pretty" the brunette giggled running her hand against something on Peter's back.

Peter turned his head and gasped loudly as the large wings extending from his back. They were black at the top and slowly faded to white.

A small smile appeared on Peter's face as he looked back down at the two girls. Both girls looked almost identical except for their hair colour and eyes. The brunette had two coffee brown eyes while the blonde had one coffee brown eye and one icy blue eye.

"Now who might you two lovely girls be" Peter asked letting a soft smile come onto his face. The blonde was clearly much more timid as she hid behind the brunette.

"I'm Morgan. This is my twin sister Corrie. We're both nine years old" the brunette, Morgan, replied happily holding up nine fingers with a proud smile.

"It's nice to meet you Mister" Corrie added smiling at Peter.

Peter's heart just simply melted as he stared at the two girls. They were both just simply adorable in Peter's eyes.

"Well then what are you both doing out here all by yourselves. Shouldn't you be inside, it is quite chilly" Peter questioned earning quiet giggles.

"We're waiting for our older sister. She's coming with our cousin and her husband soon and we can't wait to have them here" Morgan responded pulling a picture out of her coat and holding it up to Peter.

Just as Peter is about to look at the picture, he catches sight of a car pulling in out of the corner of his eye. Quickly he returns the picture and jumps into a tree.

"DYLAN!" Both girls scream running towards the car as it pulls up.

Two people get out of both sides but Peter only manages to get a glimpse of a blur picking up the two girls.

"Hello girls, how are you?" The man asks with an accent that Peter can easily recognize.

"We're great Pietro. We're happy you're here for Christmas" Corrie squeals hugging Pietro's neck happily.

Peter gasped quietly as a boy comes running out of the back the brunette female letting out an exaggerated sigh, clearly because the boy has super speed.

"XAVIER!" The girls squeal loudly as Pietro puts them down.

Peter lets a silent tear flow down his face at the sight of his sister and the nephew he barely got to know.

"Dylan. We met an angel today" Morgan exclaimed making Dylan raise an eyebrow.

"Yeah. He's right up there" Corrie added pointing up to where Peter sat perched near the top of the tree.

All the people out in the yard were now staring at Peter who was frozen in place.

"Holy shit. Peter?" Dylan gasped a hand flying over her mouth.

Peter dropped down from his place in the tree before smiling sheepishly at his sister.

"Hey D. Long time no see huh?" Peter tried to joke but ends up frowning.

Dylan could barely say anything before her feet moved themselves and her arms found themselves wrapped tightly around Peter who quickly did the same.

"You're alive?" Dylan whispered as she cried into Peter's shoulder.

"I'm alive. I'm here. Expect for the fact that I'm an angel now" Peter chuckled loving the fact that he earned a small laugh from Dylan.

"You know the angel mommy?" Xavier questioned never letting the smile drop from his face. Seeing his mom smile made him smile.

"Yeah. This is uncle Peter" Dylan responded placing a kiss on Peter's temple.

"Uncle Peter?" Xavier hummed looking at Peter before giggling and running up to hug him.

Peter happily obliged and knelt down to hug the boy who bounced a bit. Peter opened his eyes to look up at both Corrie and Morgan who were smiling, both waiting for their hug.

A small chuckle emerged from Peter before he opened his arms again letting the two girls run into them.

"This is adorable" Pietro chimes in wrapping his arm around Dylan's waist.

"Our world is just full of miracles my love" Dylan replied loving the gentle hold of her husband.

"Can we go get daddy and papa?" Morgan asked looking up at Dylan.

"You both wait here. Go get your bows from the tent and make Peter into one large present. You help them Xavier" Dylan instructed allowing the kids to run off with Peter who laughed loudly.

The two adults couldn't help but notice as the wings retracted into Peters's back and the giant outline of a tattoo could be seen on his back.

Dylan took Pietro's hand before walking inside. The smell of chocolate and lavender filled both of their noses as chatter could be heard from the kitchen.

Clint's kids were all sitting in the living room with Laura who smiled before gesturing towards the kitchen.

Inside was Clint, Tony, Steve, and Hunter who were all talking and exchanging stories.

"Hey guys. Corrie, Xavier, and Morgan need your help really quick outside. They said it was urgent with a lot of giggles" Dylan supplied the lie quickly not missing the eyebrow raise she got. See, Dylan wanted Peter to reunite with his girlfriend before she took the parents outside.

"Yeah sure thing" Hunter shrugged before making her way outside. A large gasp not failing to reach Dylan's ears. But clearly the men all missed it.

"Welcome home pumpkin" Tony greeted walking up to hug his daughter.

"Hey dad. Hey pops" Dylan sighed happily taking in the embrace.

"How's CEO been treating you?" Steve asked quirking an eyebrow.

"Stressful. But it's noting that I can't handle, with Pietro, Nat, Bruce, and Bucky all looking after Xavier, I feel a lot better every time I have to leave" Dylan dramatized waving her arms around.

"Oh that sounds horrible" Clint fake fretted with a shocked face, once again, faked.

"Oh shut up bird brain. She works hard and has a lot of trouble leaving Xavier behind sometimes" Pietro shot back before moving a hand and mouthing 'Peter' at Clint who just nodded.

"Well we both know that we left the company in good hands" Steve ended that kissing his daughters head.

"Now. I need you both to come outside with me. There's an early present waiting" Dylan said her heart starting to hammer in her chest.

"Oh boy. I wonder what it could be" Tony exaggerated laughing loudly at the snort he got from Steve.

Peter held Hunter in his lap as he held her close. The three kids went and his inside the tent when the first kiss between lovers was ensued.

"You're parents are going to freak" Hunter giggled slapping another bow on Peter's head.

"You don't think I know that" Peter sighed not fully ready to see them again.

"What's got you so down in the dumps?" Hunter asked kneeling down to look right into Peter's eyes which were brimming with tears.

"I'm mean, what if they don't want me back? I really question if it would've been better if I just didn't come back" Peter mumbled wiping his eyes trying to stop himself from crying.

Hunter frowned. "No. Don't you dare think like that. Do you even understand how many times they said that they just wanted you back. To hold you again, to see you smile just once more at your funeral" The girl stressed placing both hands on his shoulders before adding, "here they come now anyways".

Peter quickly stood up turning to face his parents as they walk towards the small play area they were in. Both adults stopped in their tracks at the sight of Peter who had finally let his tears flow freely down his face.

"Tell them one fact that only you would know" Hunter whispered in his ear pushing him forwards.

"Peter?" Tony questioned rubbing his eyes thinking he was seeing things.

"Is that you?" Steve asked grabbing onto Tony's hand.

Peter took a deep breath before saying, "it's me. I promise. Y-You remember when I was younger and was afraid of thunder? We used to sit in your bed and wait for Dylan to join us so would could all cuddle together. You remember when you found out I was Spider-Man? Both of you were so shocked that it took many people to snap you both out of it. I got a huge lecture that day". With each statement, Peter took a step closer until he was standing directly in front of his parents.

"Remember when I came back after the first snap. We were in the middle of battle but it just seemed like time stopped when you both held me again. I never wanted that moment to end" Peter finished wiping his face and sniffling slightly before wrapping his arms around his parents.

Both Tony and Steve quickly reciprocated the action as their cries were heard throughout the space. Nobody spoke as the parents were reunited with their son. Somehow, their prayers were answered and he was brought back to them.

"How?" Was the only think Tony could manage to say through the tears.

"I don't know. I really don't. I wish I could tell you but I can't" Peter replied shaking his head and pushing himself closer to his dads.

"It doesn't matter, all that does matter is that you're here with us, right now" Steve ended that letting a silence fall over them.

Slowly, everyone started to join as the three kids pushed themselves close to Peter. Pietro and Dylan joined soon after and their family just stayed there taking in each other's presence.

Clint's family stood off the the side and they simply held each other close. Knowing that right now, family is what really matters.

"Love you" Peter said with a small yawn.

"Love you too"

"Love you tons"

"Love you 3000"

"Love you 4000"

"Love you Tesoro"

"Love you mo leanbh"

The universe, perfectly balanced.
