For you... Anything

Description: It's a known fact that Peter cares for Tony and vice versa. But it's also a known fact that Peter has a fear of another building falling on him. But what if the things he cares for, and the thing he fears collide in the worst way possible?

A/N: There will be a part 2 for the last chapter but I already have a couple requests before that one so I will do it as soon as I can.

Tony knew he screwed up.

Everyone knew that Tony screwed up.

It was obvious.

But inviting a 16 year old boy, a science genius 16 year old at that who is extremely selfless, kind, and many other things, to the Avengers Compound for the weekend was not the best idea.

All the Avengers had just gotten back together and Tony knew that Peter despised Steve and Bucky all together.

Why?

Because they left Tony in a bunker in Siberia, alone. When Peter learned this, the boy lost his mind. All he wanted to do was find Steve to punch him right in his perfect teeth.

But Peter knew he shouldn't. Peter knew that what Steve did was irrational. But it also had a sense of righteousness to it. Peter knew all about HYDRA. He was raised in a HYDRA facility since his parents were scientists.

The Winter Soldier project?

Peter had a hand in it. But not in the way most people would think. Peter would constantly go behind HYDRA's backs and help Bucky after each training session and each mind wiping. But he knew, Bucky would never remember it was him.

So now, Peter just sits, silent, as all the Avengers talk to each other about what to do, and frankly, how the Accords were resolved. The answer isn't that hard actually. It is two words.

Peter Parker.

He had used his skills that he gained from HYDRA and an outfit he swore he would never take out again to force Ross to change them. Without Ross knowing it was him.

"PETER! ARE YOU ALIVE?!" Tony yelled shaking Peter shoulders knocking the kid out of his trance.

"Huh? Yeah I'm alive" Peter mumbled putting his head down, a small blush appearing on his face.

"What happened there? You were almost dead, just glaring at Rogers and Barnes" Tony said in an almost worried tone.

"Who's to say I wasn't?" Peter growled resuming his glare towards the two.

"Kid. C'mon we're trying. We really are" Tony sighed hanging his head.

"I know. But just because you are doesn't mean I should. Plus I've already made my amends by ending the damn accords for all you losers" Peter exclaimed throwing his hands up.

"Ending the... huh?" Clint asked as Peter caught everyone's attention.

"There's a lot you don't know about me. First off, the reason I'm here is because I'm Spider-Man. Second, I was raised by HYDRA agents. My parents were scientists and I was forced to be raised there. How the hell do you think I got my powers? How the hell do you think I learned so many different languages? School? Nah. The amount of times I've been told that I could go to university right now is practically insane. The accords? That was me too. Ross had gotten on my last nerve and I decided to take action. I never really trust anyone without a dark side and neither should you".

Peter's entire speech shocked everyone in the entire room. This poor innocent boy is the reason the accords were solved? Not to mention he was a part of HYDRA? It has to be some sort of sick joke.

"There's no way that's true" Nat scoffed like she didn't believe it at all.

"Really? No way huh? You all know how Ross was threatened by a person who pinned him to the wall in a dark suit. Well doesn't my suit look quite similar" Peter hissed pulling back his coat to show the black jumpsuit covered in many different patterns. All of which were the exact same as the person in the security videos.

"Pete? Why?" Tony asked in disbelief. Just those two words made the little kid in Peter come back.

"I didn't like the fact that he Avengers split over something that may have been their fault but they solved it. Everything that happened in Sokovia was resolved so fast. If the Avengers didn't do something, the country wouldn't be able to prosper like it does now. The country crashing down revealed many different ores that made the country rich. There was a 87% chance that if the Avengers didn't step in that it never would've happened. But the thing with the other Winter Soldiers, that could've been prevented. I tried telling you that they were already dead. I tried to say that I knew they were already killed by guards before the bunker was shut down. No matter how hard I tried you wouldn't let me do anything".

Another brilliant speech. But this one brought Peter to tears. The boy was shaking slightly as a bunch of memories that he wanted to forget went flying through his head. Many scars littered his skin and Peter couldn't help but scratch at them.

"Kid..." Tony breathed out unable to make the words.

"I know. You don't want to be around me anymore. I get it. Just give me a minute to grab my stuff" Peter mumbled standing up wiping a few stray tears. Nobody made a move at first until Peter ran off making them all stand up.

"No. Let me go after him" Tony interrupted making everyone stop.

"Is that a good idea? What if he tries to retaliate?" Bucky asked playing with his arm.

"Retaliation? This is Peter we're talking about. He wouldn't hurt anyone on purpose" Tony chuckled before running out after Peter.

Peter ran into his room and quickly grabbed a bag stuffing a bunch of clothes inside it quickly. He grabbed a few other essentials before sitting in the window (without his suit on) just as someone came walking into the room casually.

"Peter? Where the hell are you going?" Tony asked crossing his arms.

"I don't know. Anywhere but here. I'll probably just head back to my apartment. I just don't want to be here" Peter responded not looking at Tony at all.

"Oh c'mon is this because you snapped? It's fine kid. We all snap sometimes. Wait. Is it about you being raised by HYDRA? That's crazy talk. Have you met the people who live here?" Tony chuckled, but not letting the fact that he was worried Peter might actually leave, slip through.

"But that's just it. I feel bad. I'm sure they all hate me now" Peter mumbled his fingers twitching against the window sill.

"Now that's insane. The Avengers probably couldn't care less. They've been snapped at many times by many different people. If anything you taught them all a lesson they needed" Tony said with a smirk.

As continued to ramble about about how every Avenger has done something stupid, Peter couldn't seem to ignore the hair sticking up on the back of his neck. It was so prominent but he just couldn't seem to figure out why. Peter couldn't seem to stop twitching as his senses increased. That's when everything seemed to hit him. Literally.

The roof above Tony and Peter started to collapse as everything started to shake violently. So Peter took action and jumped at Tony pushing him down as the roof fell on them.

Tony was quickly surprised when the room started to shake but he was even more surprised when Peter had jumped at him, pushing him towards the ground, holding himself over Tony like a human shield.

"P-Peter?" Tony stuttered looking up at Peter who was clearly in pain.

"I-I'm fine, Mr. Stark. A-Are you okay?" Peter asked as a bit of blood fell down his cheek where he had been cut. But leave it to Peter to be worried about other people before himself.

"Kid I'm perfectly fine. Why would you protect me?" Tony asked as he searched for any exit.

"For you... anything" Peter whispered allowing himself to smile fondly at Tony.

"You really know how to make a person worry about you kid" Tony responded smiling fondly back at Peter.

"Don't worry about me. T-This isn't the first time" Peter chuckled letting a small smirk show up on his face.

"NOT THE FIRST TIME?!" Tony exclaimed right in Peter's ear since they were so close.

Peter faltered a bit due to how loud Tony was. His senses weren't really helping with making everything so loud. He was lucky that he was able to hold up the roof right now.

"Please don't be so loud Mr. Stark" Peter whimpered a small tear going down his face due to the strain his body was enduring right now.

"Kid. It's Tony. We've been over this. But please explain" Tony sighed before going quiet.

"It was after you took the suit away. I went back to wearing my Underoos. I was going after Toomes who just happened to be my prom dates father. He completely gave away his plan right to me. I thought I was winning when he sent his wings slashing around me. I was quickly proven wrong when the building collapsed on me. I thought I was going to die until I got ahold of myself. I pushed everything off of me. But I've had a fear of another building falling on me. So I may not look it but this is really making me panic since it's to heavy for me to lift completely off of us" Peter helplessly chuckled to himself as he felt something in his wrist snap, but he totally ignored it.

"Holy shit kid. You should've told me sooner" Tony grumbled feeling guilty.

"Don't be guilty now.. Tony. It's in the past and I guess I can live with it. I just want to get out of here" Peter mumbled as he felt something snap in his ankle, ignoring it again.

"TONY! PETER! WHERE ARE YOU?!" The two people heard many people scream.

"WE'RE OVER HERE!" Peter yelled despite his senses near overload. But he couldn't help it. He was panicking.

Everything was suddenly lifted off of them which made Peter collapse on top of Tony, breathing heavily and close to passing out. But Tony's 'dad-not-dad' instincts took over, and he quickly wrapped Peter lightly in his arms.

"THEY'RE HERE!" Bucky yelled clearly being the one who lifted that piece of metal off of them.

"That was tiring Tony" Peter whispered happily laying against Tony.

"You saved my life kid and that's all you have to say" Tony laughed running a hand through Peter's hair.

"You're good to get out now. Everything's clear" Bruce said looking down with a small smile.

"That's a good idea. I've gotta get him to the infirmary" Tony responded pulling the now asleep Peter up with him.

"How are you not hurt?" Sam asked wiping a bit of blood that went into his eye.

"Not by choice. The kid jumped on top of me. He fought off a panic attack to keep me safe. The damn kid" Tony joked as the carefully walked through the rubble.

"Oh great. That means he's going to grow up to be like Steve" Bucky added nudging Steve with his elbow.

"HEY!" Steve exclaimed offended.

"You know he's right Steve" Clint joined in laughing quietly.

Everyone had stopped to take a quick look back at Tony only to find him walking slowly and carefully as he continuously took fond glances down at Peter who had a small smile on his face despite how much pain he must be in.

"Geez, and Tony said he's not a dad" Natasha mumbled earning many hums of agreement.

They definitely judged Peter too fast. Clearly this kid was a sweetheart and they all quickly decided that they wanted to get to know him. They all wanted to allow this kid to be their light.

Just like he is Tony's.
