"WHAT!?"

"Happy Birthday!"

I slowly walk up to the suit. It's made exactly like his, but for me. I walk around it. The metal shining in the light. I run my hand on the metal.

"Dad. This. Is. AWESOME!"

"Haha. I knew you would like it."

"Can I put it on? Please?"

"Hmmm. I think you should save your and its power. Okay?"

"Okay."

I run and give him a hug. We hug for a little bit and then walk upstairs. I tell him that I'm going to put my bag upstairs. I start walking to my room and open my door. My room plastered with articles of my dad as Iron Man saving L.A. I throw my bag onto my desk and fall onto my bed. I grab my pillow and scream into it. I picked my head up and let it fall back down again. Soon, I got up, fixed my hair, and walked down to the kitchen. I smell tasty marinara sauce and meat.

"Mmm. Something smells good, Dad."

Then, I stop. My dad rarely cooks. I slowly walk down to the kitchen. I reach down for my pocket knife. I slide the knife part open. I see a man cooking at the stove and slowly walk towards him. I'm silent. Soon, I pounce on him.

"AUGH!"

"Where's my dad?"

"Eris! Chill!"

"Wait, Captain?"

"In the flesh."

"Oops..."

I get off of him. He starts to laugh.

"ERIS! ARE YOU OK-"

"I'm fine, Dad. You didn't tell me Steve was coming."

"Well, surprise! I asked him to come over and make dinner because well, I can't cook."

I shake my head and put my knife away.

"Also, because it's your birthday and I wanted to give you your gift."

Steve Rodgers pulls out a red and blue wrapped box. Of course. I take the box and rip it open. Inside holds a little shield. I hold it in my hands. I smile.

"Thanks."

I set down my phone. I search for the remote and turn my tv off. I open up my closet and rustle through my clothes. I find a black dress that is short in the front and long in the back. I grab that and some new undergarments. I walk towards my bathroom and turn on the faucet for the shower. Our special water comes pouring out. Since I have the core in my chest, I have to use special water to cleanse myself.

After I get out of the shower, I blow dry and straighten my hair. I pull on my dress and put my cherry red lipstick on. I slide my feet into my black heels. Grabbing my phone and black choker, I hear the door ring. I quickly walk downstairs and open the door.

"Hey! Wow! You look amazing, Eris!"

"Thanks. You too. BYE DAD!"

I yell back to my dad and leave with Victoria. I see Danny's car. Danny is Victoria's boyfriend. Frankly, I don't have a boyfriend. I've just never tried to get one. Victoria opens the door for me and I climb in.

"Hey, Danny."

"Hey, Eris."

"Hi, Eris."

"AH!"

I lean againist the closed door. A pair of green eyes look at me.

"Sorry. I didn't mean to startle you."

"It's okay. Victoria, why didn't you tell me you brought a friend."

Victoria looks back at me. Then she smiles.

"Whoops? Well, this is Danny's friend, Ace."

I look back at him. He smiles in the darkness. I roll my eyes and look out the window. Danny makes a couple of turns and pulls into a parking lot. I crack open the door. I start to climb out, when I start to hear shouts. I look at the crowd of people pointing upwards.

Suddenly, I see my worst fear.

A person tied to the top of a really tall building. 

And a villain flying in midair.

Time to save the day.
