【SEASON 6 EPISODE 6: PART TWO】

Jules, Lexi, Miguel, and Hawk helped Demetri and Robby move their things into Miguel and Hawks room and texted Sam and Devon to meet there. When Sam and Devon got filled in on what happened while they were gone, Sam scoffed, crossing her arms. "Not a very smart gamble, boys."

Jules raised her eyebrows sarcastically, falling down into Eli's beds. "Said... most of us actually." She muttered as Hawk climbed in beside her, the two of them leaning against the headboard, Hawk's arm around her shoulder.

"Yeah. Somebody said it wasn't gonna be a gamble." Demetri grumbled, glaring at Robby when he said "somebody."

Robby rolled his eyes as Demetri collapsed onto the other bed. "I didn't want to get involved, remember?" Robby complained. Jules was tired, cranky, and annoyed. She didn't stop herself from letting out a dry laugh at her brothers words. "So you... got involved?"

Robby turned to Jules with a hurt look, this whole night, she had been the mediator and now, she was turning on him? Before he could get a word in, Hawk added on. "Yeah, you don't even follow your own advice?" He asked and Robby squinted.

"What are you talking about?" He asked and Hawk rolled his eyes.

"We all saw you talking to Tory." Hawk snapped and Jules shut her eyes. She personally didn't see a problem with talking to Tory. That might just be the part of her that misses her friend talking, but she didn't care.

"Come on. I mean, she's his girlfriend." Devon said, saying exactly what Jules was thinking. Julianna nodded in agreement, raising a hand to point to Devon. "Yeah, he's dealing with her decisions. Same as the rest of us." She said, shrugging casually.

"I wouldn't say that exactly." Sam said, making everyone turn to her, but Sam kept her eyes on Robby, a hurt look in her eyes. "You knew Kreese came to Tory."

Lexi, who was leaning on the dresser with Sam, turned to Robby with wide eyes as Julianna's eyebrows creased. "What?"

Robby looked around the room, his mouth opening and closing before he nodded. "Yeah. I... I mean, I knew Kreese went to Tory, yeah, but it was before her mom died. And he was trashing Miyagi-Do, saying she wasn't gonna have a fair shot. She told him to get lost. Come on. I didn't know she was gonna do this."

Jules could tell Robby was telling the truth and she didn't see anything wrong with what he had done. It's not like he knew Tory was for sure switching teams.

Sam didn't think the same way as Jules, glaring at the boy across the room from her. "Really? This is what Kreese does! He played her and he played you. And you lied to us about it." Sam yelled. The headache Jules was feeling started to get worse and worse. She didn't think she could handle another argument and shook her head.

"Okay, I'm done with this. I'm going to bed." Jules blurted, getting out of the bed and rubbing her eyes. She slipped her shoes on and grabbed Eli's hand, pulling him out of the bed with her.

"Come on." She muttered, picking up one of his bags off the floor and throwing it over she shoulder.

Everyone watched Jules go with confused looks, but Eli didn't question it, slipping his shoes on after her and grabbing his other bag.

"I thought Hawk was staying with us?" Miguel asked, pointing between him, Robby, and Demetri. Jules turned around to face him so fast, he flinched a little.

"Not anymore. I'm tired and I want to sleep in my boyfriend's arms and that's that. You want to complain, tattle, I don't care." Jules snapped, her voice sharp. No one questioned the girls idea, noticing her anger building up and not wanting to make it worse.

"Lexi, maybe Demetri," Jules said, looking at the two when she said their names. She gave them a tired smile as she grabbed Hawks hand. "I'll see you guys in our room." She turned to the rest of her team and let out a deep exhale.

"I'll see you guys tomorrow where we can hopefully act like fucking a team. Goodnight." Jules said and with that, Julianna and Hawk turned around and walked out of the room.

When Jules and Eli got back to her and Lexi's hotel room, Jules immediately started getting ready for bed. When she was done, she climbed into her bed wearing her new aquarium hoodie and holding a new tiger shark stuffed animal she had bought at the gift shop after Robby betted off his and Demetri's room.

About an hour after Jules was done, Eli came out of the bathroom, his hair damp and free from the gel that had kept it in place all day. He scratched the back of his head, groaning as he walked toward the bed.

Jules looked up at him, her head resting on her arm. The soft glow from the bedside clock was the only light in the room. "Finally." She teased softly, her voice barely above a whisper. "Thought you were going to spend all night in there."

Eli chuckled and climbed into bed beside her, groaning again as he settled under the covers. "You try washing out a day's worth of gel—it's like breaking up cement." He stretched, then turned on his side, sliding an arm around Jules and pulling her close.

Her body relaxed against his almost instantly, and he sighed in contentment. Even though the lights were out, his gaze lingered on her face, tracing her features in the darkness.

"You okay?" He asked gently, his voice low.

Jules nodded against his chest. "Yeah. One of those where everything that could go wrong... did." She sighed. "I just hate that we're fighting now, you know? We need to be working together right now, not tearing each other apart."

Eli's arm tightened around her, his hand smoothing over her back in slow, comforting circles. "I know, and I'm sorry, Sunshine." He sighed, his head turning to face into the pillow. "I know Demetri and I aren't seeing eye to eye right now."

Jules shook her head, bringing her hand up to gently run it through Eli's hair. "That wasn't me blaming you." She whispered and Hawk turned his head to see Jules again, pulling her even closer.

"I know. I know." He looked into Julianna's eyes, still running his thumb against her waist. "Tomorrow's gonna be better though." He said and Jules smiled. She leaned forward, pressing her lips against his.

When she pulled away, Hawk's lips chased hers, making her smile. "Goodnight, Eli." She muttered and Eli smiled. "Goodnight, Jules." He whispered, pressing a kiss to her forehead.

Eli kept his eyes on her for a moment longer, his heart full as he listened to the soft rhythm of her breathing. Finally, he closed his eyes, his arms still wrapped securely around her.

Suddenly, the buzzing of the hotel door hummed in the room and when the door opened, Jules tired groaned and shifted to bury her face against Hawk's chest, and he held her closer, groaning and hiding his eyes in her hair to block out the bright lights of the hallway.

"Oh, great! We woke them up." Demetri whispered quite loudly to Lexi as they walked in. Jules groaned into Hawk's chest, her eyes still shut. "We weren't asleep yet." She said, her words a little muffled, but Demetri and Lexi could understand her.

"We've got a big day tomorrow. You guys should get some sleep." Hawk said, pulling Jules even closer to him if that was even possible.

His back was to Lexi and Demetri but he heard Demetri scoff as he tossed his bags onto the floor beside Lexi's bed. "Don't tell me what to do." He muttered sarcastically, not knowing Hawk could hear him.

Jules felt Hawk's arms around her tighten and to try and calm him down, she ran her nails down Eli's back. She felt the boy slowly start to relax again and smile into her hair.

From across the room, Lexi whacked Demetri arm, giving him a warning look before turning back to her friends on the other bed. She smiled at them even though their eyes were closed.

"Goodnight, you guys." She whispered softly. Jules gently raised her head, peaking out from behind Hawks body to smile at Lexi and Demetri. "Goodnight!"

Jules settled back into Hawks arms, the boy pulling her back to how close she was earlier before they finally went to sleep.

After getting some much needed sleep, Jules actually felt a lot better. Her headache was gone, she was no longer irritable, and she didn't even really feel nervous for their challenge today.

She stood beside her brother and her dad on the edge of the mat as Gunther announced the competition. "The time has come. Welcome to our first event. I hope you're all well rested and ready for a new and unique competition, We call it the 'Captain's War.' We told you how important your captains will be. So let's see how well you protect them."

Jules turned to look up at her brother and feeling eyes on him, Robby looked down at Julianna. He nodded his head, silently telling her they've got this and Jules smiled, nodding back. 

"Four dojos will take the mat. Only one will be left standing. If you hit the mat, you're out. If one of your captains hit the mat, your entire team is out for this round." Gunther explained. He raised his hand and gestured to the board with all of the team names behind him. "Check the board to see your group decided by random draw. Group A, you're up."

Julianna's eyes moved to the board to see what group they were in. When she saw Miyagi-Do was Group A with Cobra Kai, she groaned.

"You've gotta be kidding me." She muttered as the rest of her team either let out a dry laughs or groans with her. She licked her lips and stepped onto the mat, turning to face her team.

"All right, circle up!" She yelled and immediately, the group listened. She leaned in closer to make sure no other teams were listening in.

"Okay, we've gotta let them come to us." Jules said and Miguel's eyes sparkled, having the same plan as her. He quickly nodded his head to his captain before looking over the rest of the team. "Protect the egg and make sure Jules and Robby are safe."

As everyone nodded at Julianna's plan, Robby shook his head, turning to Jules. "I can be on the front line." He offered and Jules squinted at him. "Did you not hear the part about protecting the egg? We stay back." She said.

"Jules is right. Just stay back and stay focused." Miguel said and Robby's face slowly twisted. He turned to face Miguel, squinting at him.

"Why wouldn't I be focused?" He asked and Miguel shrugged as if it were obvious.

"You did leave the hotel room last night." He shot back and Jules immediately shut that down. "Hey!" She snapped, making Miguel turn to her with wide eyes. "What did I say last night, act like a fucking team." She looked back and forth between her brothers, raising her brows. "Got it?"

When Miguel and Robby nodded, neither of them meeting Julianna's eyes, Johnny and Daniel stepped forward, joining in on giving the kids some words of encouragement.

"I know it hasn't always been pretty lately, but no one could ever count us out. You hear me? Do it for each other." Daniel said, looking between the eight teens.

Miyagi-Do nodded to their sensei before turning to their other sensei. Johnny looked the kids over and his eyes landed on Jules, a big smile growing on his face. "And wipe the smirks off their ugly faces." He said.

Jules smiled, nodding her head to Daniel and her dad. "Yes, sensei's." She said.

"Ready? Begin!" Gunther's voice echoed through the room.

Devon looked around and her eyes almost popped out of her head when she saw Tory running straight for Julianna. Devon turned to Jules, already starting to run towards her to protect her.

"Shit! Jules, look out!" Devon screamed, making Julianna's head turn. Her eyes widened at Tory less than a yard away from her. She cursed under her breath, stepping back as Devon stepped in.

"Protect the egg!" Lexi screamed, starting to fight another Cobra Kai running at her.

Jules scanned the fights around her. She scoffed when she saw Robby completely ignore their plan and run into the fight head on.

Her eyes landed on Demetri, who was cornered by two boys. He was holding his ground, but barely.

Without hesitation, Jules darted across the mat, and launched herself into the middle of the fight with a flying kick.

When she kicked one of the boys away, but didn't knock him down, Demetri's eyes stayed on her, distracting him. The other boy he was fighting used this time to sweep Demetri legs out from under him, knocking him to the ground.

"Demetri's out!" She could hear Sam scream and Miguel turned his head to see the boy walk off stage. His eyes widened when he saw Jules stuck fighting the two boys now, one Cobra Kai and one Falchi Della Notte.

"Jules, stay back!" Miguel yelled and Jules barely turned her head to look at him as she blocked a swing from the boy in front of her.

"What? You expect me to not fight at all?" Jules yelled. One of the boys charged at her from the side. She barely had time to twist away and avoid a punch aimed at her ribs.

Daniel's eyes widened from the sidelines as she watched Jules gritted her teeth, her focus narrowing as she fought the two boys. "Guys, protect Jules. We can't have her go down." He yelled.

Eli wanted to help Jules more than anything right now, but Devon just got out and now, he was stuck fighting his guy and her guy. "Sensei, I got my hands full!" He yelled just as Lexi kicked the girl from Falchi Della Notte she was fighting to the ground.

"On it!" Lexi yelled, turning to Jules across the mat, watching the girl kick one of the boys back but again, not knock him down.

Lexi ran at Jules, jumping into the air and kicking one of the boys square in the chest, sending him sprawling to the ground. She landed beside Jules, and the two locked eyes.

"I've got you" Lexi said, already moving to take a defensive stance and Jules nodded.

They turned back to back, their movements synchronized as they fended off the remaining boy and another one coming towards them.

Jules' breaths came faster, sweat dripping down her brow. She held her ground, her back staying pressed against Lexi's.

"Sam's out. Hawk, protect the captains!" Daniel yelled and then it happened—a kick landed squarely on Lexi's side, throwing her off balance. She hit the ground hard, and Jules' stomach dropped.

"Shit, Lex!" Jules yelled, her voice drew Eli's attention from across the mat. His head snapped toward Lexi, and the moment he saw her down, his expression darkened. "Jules!" He screamed, turning back to his opponent to finish his fight and help his girlfriend. With a strong kick, he sent his kid flying. He didn't even wait to see if the hit eliminated him. Instead, he sprinted across the mat toward Jules.

As one of the boys aimed a strike Julianna's side, Eli appeared out of nowhere, intercepting the blow with a brutal kick that sent the boy staggering.

"You good?" Eli asked, stepping in front of her to shield her from the remaining fighter.

"Still standing." Jules replied, though her breath came in quick gasps.

Eli nodded and ran forward, attacking the boy Jules had been fighting. Jules used the moment to look around the mat, taking stock of who was left. Only four people from her team remained; her, Miguel, Robby, and Eli. Her eyes fell on a figure standing across the mat, arms crossed, waiting.

Tory.

Jules' heart raced as the girl eyes narrowed. Tory closed the distance, her fists already flying. Jules raised her arms, blocking the first few strikes, but Tory's punches sent shocks through her arms. Jules groaned and threw her leg out, aiming for Tory's shoulder, but Tory sidestepped and countered with a spinning kick.

Jules ducked, avoiding the attack, and Tory didn't give her a second to recover, rushing in with a sharp elbow strike aimed at Jules' ribs. Jules twisted, catching the blow with her forearm before spinning into a high kick.

Her foot grazed Tory's temple, and the girl stumbled, but only for a moment.

"Miyagi-Do captain down!" Gunther yelled, making Jules and Tory freeze. Jules turned her head and when she saw Robby laying on the ground, Kwon standing above him, she shook her head.

"Dammit!" She cursed, moving some of her fallen hair out of her face.

"Miyagi-Do is out!" Gunther yelled as Jules attempted to catch her breath. She turned to Tory, who was still looking at Robby and took a small step forward.

"Hey." She said, making Tory jump a little, turning to face her. Tory eased when she realized it was only Jules, knowing Jules wouldn't attack her right now since: A) she was out and B) she wouldn't fight her knowing she was distracted.

Jules gave Tory a small smile, wanting to reach out and touch Tory; to hold her hand or hug her, but she didn't. "Good luck." She said.

Tory blinked in surprise. She stared at Jules for a couple seconds before she nodded. "Thanks."

Jules gave the girl a weak smile and started to walk back toward her team. Her side ached from one of the kicks she got a limped a little, her hand clutching her side.

Eli noticed and stuck his arms out, grabbing onto Jules when she was close enough and helping her stand beside him. "You okay?" He asked and Jules nodded, still catching her breath.

"Definitely needing an ice bath when this competition is all done." She groaned out, and Eli chuckled, kissing the top of her head before turning back to the mat.

"Falchi Della Notte captain down! They are out. Only Cobra Kai and the Iron Dragons remain alive!" Gunther yelled.

Jules looked to the Iron Dragons, expecting at least half of them to be gone but her eyes widened when she saw all of them still in the same positions they were in when the competition started.

"All eight of them are there..." Jules said, her voice slowly dying out as she stared at them. Lexi squinted, trying to think back to when she was on the mat. She didn't even remember seeing any of them fight.

"Have they even moved?" She asked as Tory, Kwon, and Yoon ran at the Iron Dragons.

Six of the Iron Dragons kneeled in sync, the only ones left standing were the captains; a tall boy and a short girl. The six students slowly stood up when Tory, Kwon, and Yoon froze in their spots. They walked off the mat, letting their captains handle the fight.

Jules watched as the two captains almost instantly took the three Cobra Kai's to the ground, not even breaking a sweat. She let out a deep exhale, slowly shaking her head.

"We're in deep shit."

I ADORE JULES AND ELIIIIII i literally would die for them

anyway the rest of this season has a lot of fight scenes(obviously) but i DREAD writing fight scenes but HOPEFULLY ILL GET SOME MORE CHAPTERS OUT  SOOOON
