Chapter 46.
TWO MONTHS LATER
Peter Parker walked through the hallways of Midtown Tech as he past through the crowds all the way to his locker. He placed the combination in and started putting away his stuff. A LEGO Star Wars piece then suddenly appeared on his shoulder, "Join me, and together...we'll build my new LEGO Death Star," Ned Leeds said.
Peter turned to his best friend with wide eyes with excitement, "What? No way, that's awesome. How many pieces?"
"Three thousand eight hundred and three," Ned answers.
"That's insane." Peter says, grabbing his belongings for class from his locker.
"I know. You want to build it tonight?" Ned asked, a big smile on his face.
"No, I can't tonight. I've got the Stark—" Peter begins.
"Stark Internship," Ned finished, the two of them started heading towards class after Peter closed his locker.
"Yeah, exactly,"
"Always got that internship,"
"Yeah, well, hopefully, soon it'll lead to a real job with them," Peter says.
"That would be so sweet," Ned says.
"Right?" Peter asks.
"He'd be all, 'Great job on those spreadsheets, Peter. Here's a goin coin,'" Ned says. "I don't know how jobs work,"
"That's exactly how they work," Peter says.
"Oh. I'll knock out the bones of the Death Star at my place, and I'll come by afterwards. For the most part, the difficult thing is the base of it," Ned says.
Peter started nodding as his best friend continued, not really listening as he looked down the hallway and watched as Briana Stark walked with two of her friends Maya Julien and Molly Julien, the three of them talking with smiles on their faces as they headed to class. God, she looked amazing. Peter's eyes followed her, and Briana meet his gaze. With a faint blush, she sent Peter a soft smile and headed to class with her friends.
"That'd be great,"

"Okay, so how do we calculate linear acceleration between points A and B?" The teacher asked. "Flash,"
"It's the product of sine of the angle and gravity divided by mass," Flash Thompson answers.
"Nope. Peter." The teacher asks, Peter looks up from his computer, "You still with us?"
"Uh, yeah, yeah. Mass cancels out, so it's just gravity times sine." Peter answers.
"Right. See, Flash, being the fastest isn't always the best if you are wrong," the teacher says.
The class laughs a bit while Flash looks at Peter and whispers, "You're dead,"
Please. Flash wouldn't even be able to do anything if he wanted to, not with Cat around. She catch him, and it's off to the hospital with a broken arm and leg, along with a bruised face.
Meanwhile, in class, Briana sat in her desk, completely bored out of her mind. She may be smart, but that didn't mean she loved school. There was a lot of downs to this. One of them being she was the daughter of the famous Tony Stark and Pepper Potts, so people already knew who she was. She was Briana Stark, hell, she's Iron Girl.
The popularity that comes with it isn't what she wanted anyway. Most people would do anything to be popular, but Briana could care less about being popular, she's not that type of girl for popularity unlike one of her friends Starr Thompson, who loves the popularity. All Briana really wants is a normal school life, something that's hard to have when you're a Stark.
As she sat in her desk, Briana had a notebook on top of her finished work. As the class went over the answers for their upcoming test on the book, Dear Martin her English class was reading, she sketched two new suits into her book. One of them being a iron suit but it's colors were blue and black with a water symbol in the middle of it, the second suit being a red and somewhat yellow-orange with a spider symbol in the middle of it.
"Briana?" The teacher asks, she looks up from her sketching and waited for the question. "In the first chapter of Dear Martin, why did the officer arrest Justyce when he was only trying to help his ex-girlfriend who was drunk?"
"Because she's screaming and hitting his back, and then she passes out when he gets her into the car. To the officer, it looked like he was kidnapping her," she answers without hesitation.
"Correct," as the class continued, Briana glanced at the clock behind her to see how much time was left. The day continue to drag on and eventually, it was lunch time. Briana stood on a ladder as she tied a banner with the word 'Homecoming' to the wall, with Maya's and Liv's help.
"Did Briana get a new top?" Peter asks, his brown eyes staring at her with a dreamily smile.
"No, you've seen that before, but never with that skirt." Ned told him, his own eyes staring at Maya with a smile.
"We should probably stop staring before it gets creepy," Peter said, not making a single move to look away.
"Too late," Cat snorts at the fact of her brother being crazy in love with Briana.
"You guys are losers," MJ states.
"Well, then why do you sit with us?" Ned asks.
"Because I don't have any friends," MJ says.

Peter, Ned, and Cat were both at the Decathlon meeting they had today. It wasn't just them on the team as well. Briana, Liv, and Maya were on the team as well as from Flash, unfortunately. The team was meeting for practice before the Nationals. "Next question, what is the heaviest naturally-occurring element?" Liv asks.
A kid next to Ned hits the bell and answers, "Hydrogen's the lightest. That's not the question, okay,"
Another kid hits the bell, "Uranium,"
"That is correct. Thank you, Abraham," Liv says. "Please open your books to page 10,"
"Peter, it's nationals. Is there no way you could take one weekend off?" Mr Harrington, the Decathlon's advisor, asks.
"I can't go to Washington, cause if Mr Stark needs me, I have to make sure I'm here," Peter states.
"You've never even been in the same room as Tony Stark," Flash calls out. Oh, if he only knew.
"Wait. What's happening?" Another kid asked.
"Peter's not going to Washington,"
Members of the Decathlon team started speaking up at once. "He already quit marching band and robotics lab," MJ states, causing everyone to look at her. "I'm not obsessed with him. Just very observant,"
"Flash, you're in for Peter," Liv says.
"I don't know, I gotta check my calendar first. I got a hot date with Black Widow coming up," Flash said, mocking Peter.
Cat rolled her eyes at Flash, and Briana scoffed at Flash. "I'd be careful, Flash. Clearly, there's a reason why she's called Black Widow," Briana states, sharing a smirk with Cat.
Obviously, she had no idea what that reason was. But she loved shutting Flash up.
———
On her walk home after school, Briana stopped by the Mr Delmar's place, best sandwiches in Queens, for a quick snack. She walked inside the place and smiled as she did, "Hey, Mr Delmar," she greeted.
"Miss Stark, hey. What are you doing here?" He greeted back.
"One, sandwich. And two, Murph," she said, going over to the cat that sits on the counter and pets him, earning a soft meow in return. "Hey, Murph,"
Briana went back to the counter as she waited for her sandwich, "So how's school?" Mr Delmar asked.
"Boring, got better things to do," she answered, taking out a few dollars from her wallet to pay.
"Stay in school, kid. Otherwise, you're gonna end up like me," Mr Delmar advised, gesturing to the place.
"This is great, best sandwiches in Queens," Briana says, as Mr Delmar handed her the sandwich she ordered, "Thanks, Mr Delmar!"
She walks out of the place with her sandwich and continues on her way home. Right now, life was boring but it was a chance to maybe start a normal life and focus on her schoolwork and grades. Plus she had to study for the nationals coming up. But peace and quiet like this doesn't always last long.
