Serena stopped in a small clearing in the forest. A nice patch of green grass surrounded by thick trees. Very isolated.

"Where'd..she go?" Serena said in between breaths.

Meanwhile, Iris had laid down on a branch of a tall tree, just over looking the clearing. She could see Serena sitting down on the grass, trying to catch her breath.

"Hey Haxorus," Iris said with a growl in her tone, "what do you say we finish this?"
A pokeball hidden in Iris' hair started to glow.

She jumped down from the tree. Serena jolted back to her feet. There was an uneasy silence.

"Go Fenekin!" "Go Haxorus!"

Serena gulped, seeing the size of Haxorus in person.
"We can do this Fenekin!" "Fen-fen!"

"Hup-!" Iris jumped and climbed her way to Haxorus' neck and hung on as she gave it battle commands.

"Let's finish this quickly alright- DRACO METEOR!" She yelled, pointing to the sky.

"W-what?!" Serena looked up to see 3 beaming asteroids heading straight for Fenekin. "Fenekin No!" She ran and held Fenekin in her arms to protect it. "Fene-kin!" "No, I don't want you to get hurt!"

Serena looked up at Iris with a fire in her eyes. "I'd do anything to protect the ones I love. And that includes Ash too."

"What?"

"I won't let you take him away from me." Serena growled as she stared fiercely into Iris' eyes.

"Wha-" Iris snapped out of confusion as she realized who Serena had really been talking about this entire time-

But not fast enough to call back the Draco meteor.
