Chapter 18: Pikachu's Torment
(Thx to everyone who patiently awaits these chapters! I got a real good drama filled plot going on so I assure you, you will be satisfied with the action! And of course, the negai~ Also, I'm just loving the comments on all the chapters. Kind of feels like we have a little community in here! Okay okay I'll shut up- but FIRST, I apologize in advance for- well, you'll see. :3)
Ash trotted over, Pikachu on his shoulder as usual, and Clemont close behind.
"What's going on here??" He questioned.
"Is everyone alright??" Clemont followed up.
"Piiika." Pikachu said with a moderate tone- or was it angst? For no one could tell with his face only able to make minimal expressions. But, somehow, he never came off as stoic. He worked hard to display his inner emotions through his position and posture. Though, in the end, no one was paying attention to him. No one ever was... And why would they? With his limited vocabulary burdening him more than his undermining expressions. It was agonizing. But, a cruel coincidence, agony was not an emotion he could portray. Neither a word he could say.
(BWHAHAHAHAHA IM SORRY omg I couldn't resist okay okay back to the story omg there are tears of laughter streaming down my face I can't with myself X,D)
No one said a word. Serena and Iris were locked in an icy stare down- well, a fiery stare down would be more fitting.
Thoughts of various emotions, swirling in and out of both their brains.
Thoughts and emotions Pikachu would never be able to comprehend. Or, at least, that's what everyone else thought. He knew more than what met the eye. But meeting his eyes is just as deliberate as meeting 2 golf sized black holes, swallowing his inner torment. Torment. How hilarious. He couldn't even use that move. The iron-

After an entire minute of silence, Clemont convinced Ash to let them work it out while they went out for fire wood.
They left Pikachu (RESIST THE URGE) Bonnie, and Dedenne at the camp, telling them to keep an eye on the two. Bonnie, not seeing any problem, continued playing pretend with the two mice Pokemon.
The tension couldn't have been any thicker.
To think that this could all be settled over a Pokemon battle. Usually, that would be the case.
Iris finally decided to make a move.
A move Serena did not anticipate from her.
