She has generously agreed to give us some fresh perspectives on the world of writing, equality, and some all-around fun stuff too. Can you introduce yourself a little bit?

=> Hi everyone! I’m Funasticks and I love painting, music,playing piano and Harry potter ofc. I’m a new author on Wattpad and I write mystery, paranormal and horror stories.

What does feminism mean to you? Why do you think the world needs gender equality?

=> Feminism ,for me, is the equality for women. Females do have the potential to reach higher than men in many fields but they are not able to reach there because they are not provided with the same opportunities as men.

What developed your interest in writing? When did you write your first book/story?

=> Music was the reason I got into writing. I usually listen to many songs and I wanted to write my own and I did write some but I was not able to compose them. As a lot of times my dreams are my inspiration, I write them down before I forget them and edit the full story. Instead of making them into a song. The mystery of the Anne house, whispers in the dark are some examples.
I wrote my first story in 7th grade during COVID because I was bored.

Where do you draw inspiration from for writing your books?

=> As I mentioned earlier, I sometimes get nightmares and I usually remember them for a long while. So I write them down and turn them into a story. Sometimes it’s just random books or an idea of a close friend.

Do you identify with your main character or any other character from your stories or do you create characters that are different from you?

=> Sometimes I do but I try to add at least one trait or habit of mine.

Among all the stories that you wrote which one is your favourite and why?

=> One of my favourite story that I wrote will be the one I’ll post next because I really love the twists and turns. How my new story ‘ within the walls’ has so many secrets 😉

Apart from writing, what other hobbies do you have?

=> I love singing, dancing, playing the piano, reading, painting anything creative or fun.

What type of books do you read? Do you have any favourite genres? What's your favourite book?

=> As of now I am more interested in brother- sister books but I usually read horror, mystery, murder mystery and psychological thriller books.
My favourite book in real life is ‘A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder ‘.

Who's your favourite author, and why?

=> I really like J.K Rowling because she believed in her books and ideas when no one else did. I really like her courage.

What advice would you like to give to the aspiring writer's on this platform?

=> I would like to tell all the writers to write how they like it and want it because it is your idea and you should believe in yourself and learn from your mistakes.
Don’t follow the trend and be yourself.
