What was your original inspiration for your work? Was it a media or something that inspired you?
When we talk about my original inspiration to write books, I would definitely give credit to that author whose stories inspired me to write my own. Her stories were the first that I read when I joined the wonderful community of Wattpad.
In writing, what are your main goals, specifically what are you trying to achieve? Spreading a message? Sharing your stories to the world?
In writing, I'm actually trying to share my stories, which have a touch of magic and lots of love, to the world. I'm not a big fan of having more votes but still what I love is genuine reads and genuine comments.
Are you considering doing writing full-time? Becoming a published author and whatnot?
I am a part-time writer currently but there is a little part of me who wants to be a writer but who knows what the future holds for me?
Coming up with different concepts and plots to make your story go smoothly can be difficult, have you ever had something like writer's block? And if so, how did you deal with it?
Yes, I know about writer's block which is a great problem for writers. I had faced this when my motivation for writing almost vanished because of no reads. At that time, I contacted a few writers {not on Wattpad} to seek inspiration and guess what, it really helped me. Then I developed writing schedules and stayed organised which helped me further.
Was there a time when things didn't go as planned and you had to edit or change a bit of your book? If there was, could you please tell me?
When I started writing, I wasn't getting any genuine reads which was a great drawback. After a lot of research, I had to change the whole interface of my book, like I changed its cover into a much more dazzling one which made readers eager to read my book.
In " Chah The Desired Love " or any of your works, was there a scene you really enjoyed writing or perhaps one you hated writing?
Oh! There's one scene that I definitely loved writing. It was kinda funny too. That's the best part about this book, that I never get tired of writing its chapters because it contains plot twists everywhere.
In your opinion, who was the most interesting character to write?
The most interesting character to write about in 'Chah ~ the desired love' is Yashika Kapoor. It's because her background was really really complex. And I like complex things. When you talk about another book which is 'Niyati ~ The inevitable bond', I would say that in this book the best character I'll be writing about is Ashwath Singhania because of his personality and power.
As a writer sometimes we have to do things outside of our comfort zone, have you ever done this before and if so, how did you do it?
Till now, I haven't experienced this as I find comfort everywhere. I'm a person who gets adjusted everywhere 😅
Do you have any more book plans for Wattpad specifically? Any new works to look forward to?
Yeah, there are a few books that I'm looking forward to releasing in series (standalone). I'll be publishing a new series named university love or something like that after I complete 'Chah ~ The desired love'. That will be pretty interesting as it will be a romcom. It will be a series of books which can be read standalone.
Finally, if you could give any piece of advice to someone trying to become a writer, what would you say?
It's a great question, actually. I would say that you should embrace your voice because writing is a long journey, not a destination. You'll be having ups and downs but it's up to you how you'll be dealing with them. You will either stop writing or will do something that will make your stories bloom. Most importantly, remember why you started writing in the top place - for the longing love of storytelling. ❤️
