"(Y/N)! Get down from there you're gonna break my bottles!" Marvin warns as he grabs a metal stick he's been using to get you down from places, he has used it so often that you've come to not care anymore about it.

You lay behind the small glass bottles staring down at your "master" Marvin, you two have been linked about two months ago. So your relationship was still a bit fresh, you didn't do much of help for Marvin as you were more interested in finding out ways to make him more upset with you.

He didn't summon you like normally he bought you at a magic store from some old geezer who was looking for a quick cash grab, you weren't tamed just a random animal spirit that was summoned and thrown into a cage to be selled.

Marvin claimed to the old man that he wanted more of a "challenge" not actually expecting for it to be this hard,

"(Y/N) please come down, I'll give you your favorite~" Marvin sings as he takes a small piece of his sandwich and waves it in front of you,

Grinning you jump down of course taking a bottle down with you. Caring only about the sandwich and not the item you dropped along the way, you take the sandwich into your mouth snatching it out of Marvin's hand,

Marvin gasps as he catches the bottle sighing with relief as he places the item back in its original place.

He turns back to you giving a sharp glare, but you didn't seem to notice or care as you continued eating part of Marvin's sandwich.

"You really are a handful huh (Y/N)" Marvin smiles as he sneaks over to you placing a hand on top of your head petting you softly,

Your head head goes up in alert causing your pupils to go vertical like a cat, the fur/feathers/ skin on your body tense up as your body freezes.

Marvin had rarely touched you as you would try to get away from his grasp, so the feeling was new to you.

It felt nice,

You calm down leaning into his hand as you purred/chirped. Marvin smiles as he try's not to fanboy to much, placing his free hand over his mouth to keep quiet and not disturb the moment you two were having.

Once he removed his hand from your head you looked up at him, he felt your aura glow noticing that your were happy and content.

'That felt nice master.'

Marvin jumps back as he holds his head with his hands startling you, "d-did you talk to me?"

Complete silence followed his question as you look down at your paws/talons to scratch behind your head.

'Yeah, you got a problem?' You spoke telepathically, giving an attitude.

Marvin gasps getting up fist pumping the air,

"Yes! I'm at a strong level that I can talk to my familiar, I'm improving!" Marvin squeals happily.

'Actually it's a common trait between familiar and practically anyone, it's not so common or difficult~" you tease getting up to only sit on Marvin's bed to seem a bit more higher,

Marvin's attitude deflates as he looks to you a little disappointed, "oh.."

You chuckle, 'you get so excited over nothing master even a simple levitation spell excites you.' You stare up at him still chuckling.

"That's because they're cool, and it's okay for me to be happy for perfecting a spell!" Marvin retorts back sitting down next to you,

'Whatever, it just doesn't make sense' you look away from his stare as you lay down.

Marvin sighs feeling his patience run thin, "if you were gonna be this sassy I would've preferred you quiet like before." He retorts,

There was a sharp silence, Marvin felt the air go cold as the feeling of your aura go down, you were hurt.

Marvin realizes and looks over seeing that you were still laying down not moving, he moves his hand over to comfort you but you quickly move away sensing it.

"(Y/N) I didn't mean it, I was upset-"

'It's fine!' You spoke sarcastically, quickly disappearing before Marvin could say anything.

Marvin drags his hand down his face in frustration, "damn it."

Marvin was running around town trying to find you, using his spells and books on hand to figure out the quickest way to find you.

"(Y/N)! Please come home! I'm sorry!" Marvin yells into alleyways as he try's to contact you, he even asks other spirits from your realm if they have seen you.

All shake their head saying they haven't seen or sensed you anywhere,

Marvin teleports to another dead end alleyway, he groans as he feels his magic drain from his endless search and calls to the spirit realm.

He slides down to the brick wall as he snaps his fingers poofing up his sandwich from earlier, the broken off piece of his sandwich remained, it made him think of you and the moment you two shared.

He wish to have the moment with you again.

Suddenly he sensed another presence with him, he looks up seeing you, he dose a double take seeing that you were hurt.

"(Y/-" he stops as he notices you back away,

"No wait-umm, do you want your favorite?" He stammers hoping you'd at least come close.

You shakily walk over your legs to weak to walk, (A/N: if your a bird familiar than your wing would be too injured for you to fly over)

You soon collapsed onto Marvin's lap, causing Marvin to act quick teleporting you home he lays you down on his desk as he grabs the essentials to help you recover.

Marvin's wipes the sweat off his brow as he finishes bandaging up your wounds,

"There all better, I'm so glad that you're home (Y/N)-"

'I'm sorry for running off' you stop Marvin quickly apologizing to him for your outburst, 'it was childish of me to react the way that I did, and what you said I deserve...'

You both didn't say anything an awkward silence filling the air, Marvin smiles as he places his hand down on top of your head, "I forgive you (Y/N)" he pets you slowly gliding his hand down your back as you purred/chirped.

"It'll be okay, we'll get through this together (Y/N) and become strong!" Marvin smiles feeling much calmer,

'That was cheesy master but that's okay' you smile feeling your own aura lighten up a bit.

'Y'know you can call me Marvin right? We're friends after all!" Marvin states,

'That's good, I don't plan on calling you master forever. It sounds weird..'

Marvin chuckles scratching behind your ear, "yes it does sound weird."
