You were running through the woods in your wolf form it was early dawn the sun was peaking creating a light in the snowy woods, it was beautiful.

You were the type of wolf that always lived in the moment and had your head in the clouds other wolves would look down at you, literally you were the smallest of the pack. your father was a wolf and he mated with a human women your mother creating you a half wolf half human hybrid you can transform into a wolf and back into a human at will. When you were a puppy it was harder to control since sometimes you would get overly excited or easily angry and your ears and tail will pop up automatically. But now that your older you had help from your mother and father controlling it.

Your pack never accepted you when your father brought you in when your mother died from an illness you were fifteen at the time. The wolves your age wouldn't go near you saying you were weird and gross. Other wolves said you were an embarrassment when tried to do things that the other wolves did to try and fit in which you failed miserably at. Your father was the only one that sticked by you he was your lifeline.

Sadly he died two years later on your seventeenth birthday he was out hunting for a gift for you. He didn't notice the gun that was pointed directly at him a hunter had shot him you were absolutely devastated you didn't want to believe it when the other wolves told you.

Now you were truly alone.

It's been five years since, you stopped by a river it was moving fast. You always came out of the boarders of your packs territory to clear your head the alpha warned you when the beta guards caught you one time now was your final warning but you never listened you stopped listening to them since your dad died. The pack still treated you like trash but it died down a bit after the passing.

You bent down taking a drink from the pure water. When you raised your head again you noticed something in your view across the river.

It was another wolf but he was huge, his fur was black as night with faded red and blue on his paws and tail he looked like he was glaring at you. Your tail was tucked between your legs intimidated by him, he looked as if he had fire in his eyes he also had the smell of an alpha which also scared you. Were you in his territory? Why haven't you seen him before it wasn't like he can blend in with the white snow he stuck out like a sore thumb. But some how he was able to sneak in front view while you were drinking.

"What are you doing in my territory little wolf?" He didn't open his mouth all wolves can do that they speak telepathically to one another.

You were frozen you took a step back debating if you could make it back to your territory line but then again what if he chases you and catch's you, could you call for help? Would they come to help you? Or leave you too die?

"I-I" you kept taking small steps back he seemed to have known what you were doing he showed his sharps canines letting out a low growl you two seemed to be having a staring contest it was like he was stalking his prey.

You.

You ran he ran after you, you started to run in a zig zag to get away from him something you picked up from when you dad went out hunting for rabbits and deers the way they moved to get away from him some were able to escape that way so you decided to use it too in dangerous situations. But it seemed like he was a step ahead as he started to increase his speed he knocked you down everything happened so fast. He was now looming over you huffing showing a cloud you looked out of breath looking up at him, uncomfortable with the position you were forced into.

"What were you doing in my territory." Demanding "I-I just wanted to get away!" You quickly said frightened for your life he lowered his head getting into your face. He was sniffing you he started to go lower to your neck.

"H-hey! Haven't you heard of p-personal space" you tried to sound intimidating over your stuttering he looked up at you it was so hard not to flinch and look away but your father had always told you to keep an eye on your opponent no matter what.

He hummed then backed off of you leaving you stunned what's up with this guy? You asked yourself.

"You smell like an omega shouldn't you be with your pack scrounging up scraps?" He circles around me taking in my body never leaving his black orbs I answered "that's none of your business." Finally finding my voice having enough of his crap I walked up to him he didn't seem fazed by me probably because of my height but I didn't care. "You should be going back before my pack comes and hunt you down we don't take kindly to outsiders" you growled lowly trying to assert some sort of dominance.

He seemed taken a back, maybe it was working! Your tail wagged unexpectedly you heard him chuckle "omegas, so childish" he started to walk away from you offended you ran after him.

"Ch-childish! I am not a child!" You yelled "of course, you are a grown she-wolf but you are acting as if you were one." He said calmly with a grin plastered on his face you huffed cold air flying.

"Can I ask why you are out?" Trying to start a conversation "I mean your the alpha wouldn't your pack come and look for you?" Your left ear twitched "oh they will we aren't the most normal to put it lightly, I came out to also escape they are family...but they are unbearable to deal with." He shivered you wondered if that was the only thing that scared him.

"What's your name?" He asked you debated on telling him your name for a second "it's (Y/N) now what's yours lone wolf!" You joked which got a chuckle out of him which surprised you "Dark my name is Dark." "Nice name!" You smiled tail wagging like a puppy was this your first friend? "To you as well darling." He said in a low hushed voice as if someone could hear you two or as if the little nickname was for you which it was since you too were alone

In the forest.

Together.

With a beautiful rising sun.

"Looking at you like this, I haven't noticed your eyes shine like this sun rise, your fur looks so soft it could be mistaken for cotton, and your cute little form-" "stop it" you cut him off you felt heat rising on your cheeks. But you knew better "your just saying those things. You don't mean them." You felt as if you would cry "no one in my pack accepts me...so why would you? Your someone who is strong mentally and physically a wolf who can lead others. But me I'm nothing but dirt I'm a wolf that people step on I'm a nobody and you're a somebody." You transformed into your human form, naked in the cold but it didn't affect you, Dark looked surprised "I'm also part human you wouldn't love me anyways I'm a freak." You looked down ashamed at what you were. Waiting for him to run away.

But you felt a warm hand instead you looked up to Dark his hair looked matted but still somehow looked well kept he had a scruffy beard but it too pulled off to look nice. You couldn't keep your eyes off him. He looked so handsome.

"I guess we both can be freaks" his voice sounded rasped from the lack of use but you didn't care. You just leaned into his touch gradually starting to lay on his bare chest he ran his fingers through your hair as you closed your eyes taking in the scent of your new

Alpha.
