by lunch, everyone has heard of the new boy in school. most not knowing his name, as taehyung was referred to as paper boy. taehyung couldn't lie, he saw this coming. but the snickering and teasing caused darker spots to be seen on the bag.

"it could've been worse," taehyung reminded himself. "they could've known what you look like."

but it didn't get any better when the librarian said taehyung couldn't enter the library without perfect uniform. even if he claimed it was for medical reasons.

so as the teenage boy had no place to go, he decided to sit outside during lunch. taehyung wasn't going to eat, of course, he didn't want anyone judging him even more.

taehyung sat on a dry space of grass, near an oak wood tree. a cool breeze swooshed past, if the shade wasn't enough to cool the boy down. there weren't many students around, well they were around, but not around him. the teenager wasn't surprised though, who would want to be near him? if taehyung weren't himself, he'd be afraid too.

there was one thing that kept taehyung alive, other than breathing, and it was photography. the front camera of his phone was taped, but the back camera was where magic happened. taking photos of nature reminded taehyung that all humans are ugly, not just him (as he thinks). the way his camera can capture a raindrop dripping off of a leaf, a bunny hopping out of a bush, long grass tickling the wind, it brought a smile to his face.

so during lunch, he took pictures of the only beauty in this world.

fourth period was a mess. literally. it was art class and taehyung's paper bag was currently being painted by a couple of idiots.

taehyung didn't know who they were, but they seemed to be bad kids. and he was right. they were those ignorant kids that talk back to teachers for attention, and make themselves look like fools just for a laugh. they think they're so cool, but they're not.

the teenager was confused, however, when the teacher had done nothing to make it stop.

"oh my god, jungkook! you drew a dick!?" a young man with crescent eyes and a big smile said, bursting into laughter.

"thought it'd look nice next to those tiddies," jungkook replied, adding final touches.

taehyung had had enough of this. he felt humiliated. so he snuck out of class and headed to the washroom.

the brunette couldn't believe that it was only the first day, and he was already shut out. but his parents have done so much for taehyung, so he decided to pretend everything went fine. he's tired of being weak. maybe if he shows them who's boss, taehyung wouldn't be made fun of.

in the washroom, taehyung threw his paper bag out and put on another one. and after sitting in one of the stalls for what felt like a while, the teenager just decided to leave the building. his parents wouldn't be home until 4:00pm anyways, so they'll never know taehyung left school early.

as soon as taehyung walked foot out of that school, he removed his dumb paper bag. it was hard to breathe, he felt trapped between the walls of the bag, he's wanted to escape since he put that thing on.

" escape, huh? when you're the one who's in control." taehyung whispered to himself, trying to ignore the ugly stares. "don't worry, taehyung, all humans are ugly. not just you."

it was only fitting that when taehyung got home, he would post a picture of the nature he captured during lunch. humans look like a disgrace to this world when nature exists. taehyung truly wishes he could look like a beautiful landscape of a winter day, able to freeze and capture the victims heart.

taehyung felt like his photography page was the only place where he felt good about himself, where he felt welcomed, where he didn't feel so different from the rest. so he does his best to continue to impress his fans, maybe someday finding a friend through this account. they just can't know what he looks like, or they'll leave just like the rest.
