taehyung scurried through the halls in what felt like slow motion. he could feel the students and teachers stares burning through his head, causing him to flinch and walk faster. taehyung threw his hoodie up and put his head down when he made it to his locker. that didn't help though, because people now know that the paper bag boy has a face. and an ugly one in their eyes.

there were pictures being taken, laughs and giggles, gasps and screams... anything that made taehyung feel less human.

taehyung just stayed at his locker, hood up and on his phone, waiting in agony for that first bell to ring. eventually namjoon made it to his locker, which happened to be next to taehyung's.

"hey, tae," namjoon barely whispered, not looking over to his friend.

"hi," taehyung quietly said back, feeling as if he could break at any moment.

"are you okay? did someone say something?" namjoon asked after throwing his bag into his locker. taehyung just laughed, pulling the strings of his hood down so no one could see. namjoon knew he shouldn't had asked that, as the answer was quite obvious.

"do you want to talk about it? you can tell me anything," namjoon suggested, putting his hand on taehyung's shoulder.

"namjoon is friend's with the ugliest person in the world. /the/ kim namjoon! what a shame."  namjoon heard a girl whisper in the hall, which caused his fist to clench taehyung shirt.

"i don't want to talk about it... i don't even want to think about it. i just want to leave," taehyung whimpered, hiding his face in his hands.

"okay, okay then let's go. grab your books and we'll stay in the washroom until class starts," namjoon replied, starting to grab his. taehyung nodded and they were off the the washroom.

"i just want to be seen as normal," taehyung blurted out after a few moments of silence.

"i know, tae. you're tired of this. but you won't be going through this alone anymore." namjoon grabbed taehyung hand gently, even if he wasn't one to be intimate, and brought him over to the sinks.

"look at yourself and say that you're beautiful." namjoon interlocked their fingers.

"i-i... i c-can't," taehyung broke into a sob, shoulders bouncing like the waves of the ocean of tears taehyung had cried.

"hey, don't cry. it's okay," namjoon smiled at taehyung and wiped the younger's tears.

"you're beautiful," namjoon said into taehyung's eyes, cupping his cheek carefully.

you could tell namjoon wasn't lying when he had tears in his eyes aswell. he placed a gentle kiss onto taehyung's forehead, ruffling his hair.

"don't tell jin i kissed you or he'll get mad... i don't even kiss him," namjoon said with a wink.

"you ass," taehyung laughed, giving an awkward smile.

"well, let's get to class!" namjoon playfully punched taehyung's shoulder when the bell rang.
