"YOU ARE JEALOUS! JUST ADMIT IT AND LETS JUST TALK ABOUT IT, INSTEAD OF BEING A CONFUSED CHID WHO CAN'T STAY IN TUNE WITH FEELINGS!"

Jimin glanced over his book he flipped through. Like always, the notebook that sat on his lap was empty and the pen he held in his hands did nothing but twirl around with play. Reading into paranormal books, one after the other, nothing about a 'holding cell' or a description of if was ever found. Why was that? Jimin didn't know. All he knew was that the idea of the 'unknown' was pissing him off.

He sighed in frustration. He slapped his head into the pillow he had on his bed. The whole morning of his consisted in staying in the room. He didn't move around, nor did he plan on it. He would read, then think about you and last night, then do the repeat.

"YOU ARE JEALOUS! JUST ADMIT IT AND LETS JUST TALK ABOUT IT, INSTEAD OF BEING A CONFUSED CHID WHO CAN'T STAY IN TUNE WITH FEELINGS!"

After that yell of truth, Jimin hadn't said anything in response. He had just stared, and you were beyond angry. You had left, mumbling about crashing on the couch outside and to be left alone until he 'grew up'. With that, he didn't follow you. Instead, he was left restless the whole night with his thoughts.

Did he regret not responding to you? Yes. Would he take what happened last night back and say something? No. No, he wouldn't mostly since he still didn't have an answer for you.

"I think I've messed up," he whined to himself, rubbing his tired eyes.

-

"He's so messed up and doesn't even realize it," you said agitatedly, flipping through the book assigned for you to read aggressively.

You sat on the couch and had been doing that the entire night. You had gone through 20 fat books and written down notes that made no sense. The only thing on your notepad that was close to being important was how harshly you wrote; the pressure of your writing emphasised how mad at Jimin you were.

And he just fell asleep after? You couldn't believe it, flipping through the pages faster than bullet-speed.

In your rage so early in the morning, you heard a dragging of tired and woken feet starting to come down the hallway and towards the couch you sat on. There was a mess and you started to slowly clean it up for the member that was now awake. Tired, angry, and slowly just starting to cave-in with your own thoughts, you looked over with a casual smile and saw a boy turn the corner and face you.

It was Jimin. He rubbed at his red eyes one last time before moving his hands away from his face. Hair a bed-head of mess, eyes squinted, and in his pajamas from last night, the boy cutely maneuvered himself towards you even though he sensed your smile fall and muscles clench.

"Look..."

Your smile was tight. "Sleep well?"

Jimin sat onto the couch next to you and was glad you didn't move away. "I couldn't sleep."

"That is hard to believe, seemed to me you were out like a light," you mumbled under your breath before flipping slower through the book in front of you. You started to re-open the page in your notebook you had out.

Jimin saw the book and his brows jumped over all the messy notes you took. "Woah," he said lightly, reaching for it with his warm fingers, "You actually found information?" He winced when you slapped his hand away and he hugged it to his chest.

"Ow."

"No, I just got interested in goblins, so I started to research on their sightings instead," you piped, closing the notes before Jimin could bombard you with questions in confusion.

Instead, he just kept rubbing at his hand and smiled a little. He was so tired and for a second you believed that he was genuinely restless the previous night. Softening a little and hating that he was adorable, his sleepy form made your heart want to leap out and smash onto the coffee table before your knees.

"What did you find?" He was cute while trying to have a conversation with you.

You held the scariest expression causing him to gulp. "Oh," you started in disbelief, "So you're willing to have conversations on goblin's and their history just fine, but when it comes to us or you being jealous we can't speak a word?"

Jimin smiled nervously. "Goblin's are more interesting...?"

You let out a sound through your nose, causing your nostrils to flare and he looked adorable when he tried to calm you down. Waving his hands and grabbing you before you could phase and go somewhere else entirely from anger, the boy made sure you didn't leave the living room couch.

"Okay, Okay," he hastily let out, panicked that you might disappear away from him again and Thing would crawl back into the picture. "Let's talk. Let's talk."

You looked at him with a scolding expression but said nothing. The most you did was keep your scowl strong as he licked his bottom lip, focused on his hands, lap, and then your hands and lap. Finally, Jimin found the courage to stare at your eyes. He spoke.

"I'm jealous." Jimin blurted it into the open.

Your face was still in the perfect scowl.

Jimin swallowed hard. "But I'm sure you already knew that." He laughed.

When you didn't laugh, he tried to playfully pull at your cheek or tickle your side to cheer up but you lightly slapped his hand away again. Jimin sighed.

"I'm finally trying to talk but I can't do it if you're going to be mad the entire way through," he pointed out, cute finger dancing to point at your face and then flick the front of your nose.

You tried so hard not to smile at how cute he was. The perfect scowl was starting to falter.

"Y/N!" he whined, giving up on his hands and moving his head to snuggle at your shoulder. You ass softened so quick, heart speaking numbers for you as you gave in.

"Fine," you said softly, sighing and shifting your body so you could face him on the couch. You crossed your legs and watched as he took his head away from your collar, grinned like a child getting what they wanted, and crossed his legs too. If the both of you put your hands together, it would look like you were getting ready to play patty-cake. "But you've got to be honest and real with me. Understood?"

He nodded. You finally allowed yourself to smile a little.

"Tell me what's been bothering you," you started off, light and not so intrusive compared to what you were doing yesterday with your yells.

Jimin licked over his bottom lip the second time. He seemed a little hesitant but your warm smile was the only thing making him realize this was a safe place. With you, talking about his feelings in this moment, was a safe place. He let himself slowly spill.

"I've been feeling angry."

You nodded.

Jimin swallowed hard, "...tired and sometimes sad."

"When exactly do you feel that way?"

"When you're with the other boys," Jimin let out without hesitation.

You narrowed your eyes at him and he puckered his lips. Smiling nervously, it fell so fast when you started to scold with your eyes again. "Jimin," you warned, and he sighed dramatic before coming out with it.

"Okay, mostly just Taehyung."

"Why?"

This was the question you had asked last night and Jimin was back to being more uncomfortable than ever. "I-I don't know." You glared at him again and Jimin shook his head, he was alert and really wanted you to listen and not be angry. "I'm serious, I really don't know why I get so angry and sad when he's around you."

"Has he said something to you?" you asked curious.

"No."

"Shown attitude?"

Jimin shook his head.

"Then what about him makes him secluded from everyone else?" you asked lightly. You knew he was holding it back and all you wanted was to have him come forth with it. In your mind, Jimin being jealous you tried not being happy about. Sure, it made your heart flutter at first, but now it was just irritating since he couldn't come out and speak about his feelings.

You were sure he didn't like you.
He had been checking out Iniko, for fucks sake!
He couldn't like me so suddenly? Me? No. He couldn't like me. The jealousy had to either be an 'anchor' thing or a friendship issue that he hadn't come to terms with yet.

"I guess," His throat hurt from all the gulping, "I guess it started when I finally started to realize he could touch you as well as everyone else. But his sweetness and you constantly blushing, I don't know. Maybe it's this twisted ordeal with me being your anchor and the only one that should be able to touch you that is tricking and playing with my mind."

You smiled. It didn't meet your eyes. See? Just jealous because his role as an anchor is threatened. Looks like you were right about the hunch from earlier. You didn't want to focus on the little bit of your heart that still wished otherwise. That tiny voice...you pushed to the back of your thoughts and buried it deep within your heart.

"Progress see," you teased, seeing his cheeks starting to flush, "Now was that so hard?"

Jimin laughed but it didn't reach his eyes. He looked like he needed to use the bathroom to throw up and fast. He sat frozen however, staring at you move over to hold his hand and reassuringly talk while staring at his eyes. He looked at your face, memorizing it, and seeing it again for the first time in his mind. The fact that this was your real face still made him happier than ever.

You had come so far since the first encounter with him and that meant the world to Jimin. You were glowing more and more every day, your touch almost human again. Jimin looked at your hands in his.

"You witnessed the worst weeks ago. You hadn't seen me for long only for me to threaten you and the rest of the boys. You almost saw me die again and saved me Jimin," you said softly, "I understand the jealousy as an anchor and I certainly understand that you're having trouble adjusting to me being around again. A different me."

"I'm happy you're back."

You nodded. Giggle light. "I know you are but there's a lot of change around you and that's starting to freak you out. You're acting more impulsively and less like the Jimin I first met."

Jimin thought to himself. He thought on that and he nodded slowly. He hadn't been completely the same since the day in the hospital. "So much happened that day and we didn't talk about it, we just continued our days as if nothing happened and I think that's part of what's bothering me."

You smiled, nodding. Your fingers rubbed his outer palm similar in the ways he would do to you. In that moment, instead of him trying to relax you down and calm you, you did it for him. You were there for him instead. "Maybe when you feel off, reflect and figure out why you feel the emotions you do instead of pretending they're not there. I know as a boy you're forced to keep everything in by society, but a good cry and conversation doesn't hurt. I mean, don't you feel lighter?" You tapped his heart over his shirt and Jimin smirked.

"I hate to admit that you're right," he said with a playful glint in his eyes, "I do feel a little better."

You wiggled his hand in yours. "Good."

Jimin saw you look away. He didn't want to stop. He wanted to keep talking and could see you about to turn your attention to the books and how useless they were. Before you could, he held your hands tight and whispered, "Can we talk about the hospital?"

You stopped moving or trying to resist his touch. All you did was an awkward nod before focusing on his plump lips that pursed and then opened. You waited for him to talk as patiently as you could muster.

"I was scared that day. You weren't the person I was used to and I had no idea what I was doing."

"I'm sorry." He shook his head at your apology. Your brows furrowed a little.

"I didn't mean to say that to have you apologize because I know you're sorry," his smile was light as he spoke, "I wanted to say this because I want to clarify that I wasn't your hero that day. You chose to come back to me, to the positive side...I was just stupid and thought randomly towards what I could do to trigger that instinct in you. I had nothing to do with you choosing me over Thing." His smile grew. "You saved yourself that day."

You smiled a little, amused at him putting you on a pedestal. "I'm my own hero, hm?"

He nodded, laughing at you all giddy. "Yes. I want you to realize that instead of constantly saying 'sorry' and thanking me as if I did something."

You sighed. "Can't it be safe to say that you helped me save myself? Because you did. You were a great anchor in there, you destroyed Thing's plans so don't cut yourself short. You deserve to take just as much credit as I do."

Jimin chuckled nervously. "All I was doing was acting from fear..."

"So, you kiss people when you're scared?" you teased and Jimin's eyes shut in defeat. He was trying to bring up that topic slowly but you, with your laughing mouth, brought it up right away. You read him well. That's what Jimin was still hoarding around in his thoughts – the kiss shared.

"Not exactly." Jimin's cheeks blushed.

"Want to talk about that hot kiss?" You asked, your face made him blush further. You couldn't stop the teasing with the expression you held.

"It was hot?" he was flaming.

"You bet it was," you giggled and wiggled his hands a little. "Calm down, will you? Its alright to talk about it. No need to keep everything taboo."

"We did more than kiss," Jimin said with his eyes narrowed. He was getting redder by the minute, "It is embarrassing to be talking about such a moment, but I can't seem to get it out of my mind. It was a genuine moment, not just some kiss to save you."

Your smile fell so fast at that. "Huh?"

Jimin swallowed swallowed swallowed hard. "W-What, what did you feel about it?"

You chuckled nervously. "Let's not talk about my swing on the issue, I want to know what you felt about it." You tried, and he glared at you playful but you were suddenly so on edge that nothing else mattered but whatever was going on n Jimin's head.

You were starting to assume shit at this point. Your fangirl hard was dancing, while your human mind and heart was fluttering. He had become more than just an idol to you at this point and the care you felt for him was more than what you used to feel when you were alive, and he didn't know of your existence. Now was different. So, staring at his blushing face, him asking about your feelings to the kiss, and his confusing signals given in your direction...your head was about to explode.

"Y/N?" he waved his hand in your face when you drowned into your thoughts.

You jumped. Blinking, you were in awe but you slowly collected words to softly speak, "I was just really in shock..."

Jimin nodded, listening to you.

"...I don't always mean my jokes to be jokes since I genuinely did enjoy it," You let out truthfully and his brows jumped, and you hastily went in to save your own ass, "But I was too busy trying not to feel hurt and constant regret over my condition and all that I had done. The kiss didn't overpower my thinking as much after."

"Oh."

You were the one hurting your throat from swallowing now. "W-Why? Why has it been bothering you so much?"

Jimin scoffed but it was hard for him as he was a blushing mess. "You make it sound like it's the only thing that's been on my mind," he joked awkard, "It's not like that, I just-"

"Jimin?"

His tone was high as he hummed, "Hm?"

You looked him straight in the eyes. Everything within you starting to click into place as you worked your mind like hamsters on a wheel. Your assumptions were starting to become true within you but you needed the soured of your assumptions to verify them. You needed Jimin to answer your following questions and be honest.

"Has that day been on your mind a lot specifically because of the kiss?"

Jimin laughed.

When you didn't laugh with him he choked.

Both of you went silent, simply just staring at each other.

"Jimin," you repeated, "Has that day been on your mind because of the kiss?"

"Y-Yes."

You were screaming inside. You nodded, pretending to be okay with that information as you moved onto your next question. Your voice was wavering and Jimin was frozen in shock himself, not knowing how this sweet conversation was turning too revealing too fast.

"Jimin?"

"Hm?"

You two stared at each other.

"Do you think the kiss, and you thinking about the moment we shared...do you think that may be a possible reason to why you're jealous of me being close with Taehyung?" your voice was a squeak as well.

Jimin swallowed hard. "I dunno," he said cutely, eyes innocent and hiding something. It was obvious to you and your heart was going insanely wild.

"Jimin?"

"Hm?"

"Were you jealous of Taehyung just because of your role as an anchor being tampered with, or was it because of something else?"

The boy's lips moved slow. "Another reason could be plausible..." he trailed off.

You were about to explode. "Jimin?"

He was about to crawl into a cave of darkness. "Hm?"

"Have you been jealous of Taehyung because of feelings you've felt after the kiss you shared with me?"

He didn't say anything.

"Jimin?"

He didn't say anything.

You looked at him deep and hard. You were close to a ticking bomb that was ready to pounce, in order to save yourself the pressures, you looked to his eyes in order to find some sort of answer or mediate relaxation so you'd fall back and find everything to be a dream.

Your mind was mental.

Then, you regretted looking at his face, his expression, and his eyes because everything you were denying came hitting you in the face as some joke. You finally exploded successfully once seeing Jimin's attention.

He stared at your eyes. Then his gaze trailed to your lips and stayed there. It stayed there.

You licked your lips haste and rolled with a shift of muscles to the stand at your knees. Your back arched and your lips held back a whimper as you pressed yourself against his torso that sat tall before you. Hugging his shoulder and immediately pulling your fingers at his already messy hair, your open mouth crashed against his that didn't expect the ambush.

Jimin's eyes shut immediately. He wasn't utterly shocked over the actions before him but he let the confusion of the sudden, fast, hard, and eager make out before him to flourish when he squinted his brows together and hesitantly moved his hands to your waist. He wanted bad to taste you in that moment just as badly you clearly did as your thighs moved to straddle his lap hurryingly.

Jimin couldn't keep up with your lips and tongue. Head leaning back, your weight leaned on him completely and he was breathless from what you were suddenly making him feel. Hand lamely holding the couch's cushion as his arms buckled, your strength took its course as your hands lamely pushed him down onto his back.

His eyes fluttered open for a moment as he looked at you. He softened when seeing your cheeks were slightly damp from sudden tears at your eyes. "Y/N-" he shut up when you kissed him again. On him completely, his head sunk into the cushion underneath him and his lips curved, curled, and sucked onto yours that were full on his.

On top of him, both making out as if their lives depended on it, a lot unfolded in the open space of the dorm's living room...
