6 months later...

Got to work about 30 minutes late because I went to school to drop off my assignments, thank God I'll be writing exams soon then finally graduate...

I went straight to the bathroom to freshen up, I can't believe Sunny was okay and broke down again I think it's time she took a trip to the junkyard...

When I finished I went to the kitchen to have some water and when I went to see if there are customers Robbie was there looking so good...soo fucken good...I walked over to him.

"Wow you are persistent"

It's been 6 months and he still comes here has his food and leaves, he promised to never give up on me and I'm starting to believe him but won't tell him honestly no man has ever made me feel this important he came here for 6 months to get my numbers? Nia calms down...

" I won't give up," he said as I smiled and got his order he said I should sit down and I looked around and noticed we were not that busy so I sat down...

He drank his coffee looking at me...those eyes

"What"

"You're  beautiful such beautiful eyes that hold so much "

"Like?" I couldn't help but smile

How does he see through me I personally Dont like that, I give out this tough exterior and it has helped me in keeping men away.

I nodded.

He took out his phone and gave it to me and I put my numbers in and gave it back to him.

"Wheres  your phone," he asked

"Inside my pocket, I put it on vibrate because Mr. Mansoor would kill me if I didn't hide it from customers "

"Okay, thank you I need to get to the studio because I just got inspired"

"That's  a lame pick up line"

"It's  not if you're already my girl"

"Oh, really and who's your girl" he made me smile I actually loved the feeling he gave me...

He got up kissed my hand and left money for the order and winked at me as he walked out.

My phone vibrated he was calling me I answered.

"Thank you for the numbers.... 6 months later" I laughed why am I blushing

"It's not a big deal ill see you ok it's packed now" I lied it was awkward I haven't dated in a long time, I don't even know what the hell was going on, I wasn't meant to fall for him not this fast, he was supposed to wait years...okay okay I'm exaggerating...

"See you later beautiful " he hung up and I couldn't stop smiling

The day was long my mom took Aronia because my shift would end at 3 am I hate leaving this late but It's my job and it won't help to complain, Jasmine left early because she had a date so ill just have to use an Uber to get home because Marcus wasn't done fixing Sunny...

After cashing up and cleaning the last dirty tables and helping Lisa with a Few dishes I had to help her lock and give her the keys because I'm off today she left with Stan one of our chefs...

I got out and made my way to the parking lot to request an Uber I Dont know why I didn't do it earlier, honestly, it's 3 am and I'm alone here it's scary just then someone spoke behind me and I froze...

Shit, my fork and knife are in my locker...fuck noooo Mr. Mansoor confiscated them...I turned around slowly and the green or grey-eyed evil monster was standing there...gosh Robbie

"Fuck Robbie what the hell are you doing here I nearly stabbed your ass"

"What are you doing here it's 3 am"

"I came to fetch you, met jasmine earlier today and she told me you're knocking off at 3 am and something about your useless sunny and I remember that beetle so I knew you didn't have your car"

We walked to his car and he opened the door for me and we got in as he asked me my address and we were driving there in silence.

"So you came wearing your PJs" I laughed

"Yes I  was sleeping and my alarm went off reminding me to come to fetch you "

I won't lie that made me feel a certain way, it's the little things guys, no man has made me feel like I matter I looked out the window because I thought of Aros dad and what he did, how he broke me and made me give up on men...

He didn't push me he just played me music we were not going to my place so I asked

"You do know you're famous and if you kidnap me that will destroy your image"

He laughed...

" I wanted to buy you ice cream so we can chill"

"Chill???? it's 4 am and I'm tired, Robb..."

"Yeap and I also know you are not working today"

I wanted to ask how but jasmine was written all over this I smiled and we had ice cream and talked for such a long time and actually had fun it was 10 am and he took me home and promised to fetch me around 5 pm for another date he didn't even allow me to decline.

I slept and when my alarm went off at around 3:30 pm I woke up and showered, I wore my tight leather skirt with ankle boots and a nice off the shoulder top I was in all black with a nice beige hat, gold watch and earrings, I just did a nice bun on my hair

My phone vibrated and he sent a message saying I should come with my bikini.

5 pm exactly he was outside waiting for me and we drove to a private beach but there were a  few people there he said I should cover my eyes and he guided me to where he was taking me "open"

"I should have known "

"What " he looked at me

"That you are a romantic...how many girls do you do this for"

"I'm hurt I don't take girls out, and it's the first time I'm doing this because you're special"

We sat down and ate our snacks then went to take of the skirt and I was left in my bikini hes eyes didn't leave my body...

"Aronia berries huh"

"Jas told me about her and I knew that's why you called her Aronia"

He laughed and we spoke some more...

"Baby " when he says baby....he's voice does things to my body.....

"What" I didn't even look at him

"You look perfect to me" I rolled my eyes

He took a zillion pictures of me and it started getting a bit windy so we took a long
walk in silence...to the car

"Tell me what's on your mind"

"I haven't had a relaxed day in a while from crazy working hours and school I just didn't get time for this and it's nice "

"So I did something right "

"Nope the ocean did something right"

He laughed and we kept walking to the car then I got a message from Jas saying she won't be sleeping at home.

My phone vibrated was a message from Jas again saying we shouldn't forget condoms...I laughed so loud forgetting I have company...

"Share the joke"

I handed him my phone and he laughed when he saw the message, then saw Aro and he smiled hard...

"Yeah that's my berry there" my smile was a mixture of sadness and happiness if the two can make sense together...

"Is her father uhm...."

"Yes he's white" with a scowl on my face.

"No no Nia that's not what I meant" he stopped me and gently held my hand I snatched it away from him harshly, he looked hurt.... I can't explain how I felt....

"Really" I'm embarrassed but won't say ,I'm used to the looks and questions about her that I'm always ready to answer.

"No babe I wanted to know if her father is in her life I mean both your lives"

"I'm sorry......and no he's not...I don't want to talk about him "

"I'm sorry"

"No it's okay let's just go home okay, thank you"

Then we drove in silence I wasn't mad at him I don't know what was going on in my head, I wanted to say something but couldn't. He dropped me off at my apartment I kissed his cheek and got inside my apartment......showered and decided to snuggle in bed.

My phone rang...

"I'm sorry okay"

"Dont worry I'm okay thank you for today"

"You're welcome you owe me a date"

I laughed,

"Why"

"I will  tell you tomorrow "

"Okay goodnight Rob"

"Night beautiful "

I fell asleep immediately because I was tired and had to wake up early...
