" So Ginny what made you react like that?" I ask as the 1st years walk in. " Oh nothing you need to worry about Sam just mine and Harry's business" Her and Harry's business. WHAT! I am her best friend why would she say that to me. I could tell she was going to change because of Harry but not this much. For the rest of the meal we didn't talk, let alone make eye contact. All I could think about was her and Harry. Was this a plan? Was Harry trying to get me out the picture? I don't know but I need to find out.

As I clambered out of bed, still the only thing I could think about was what Ginny had said. What was worse was that it was quidditch practice so I would have to see their faces for an hour.

"So Samantha you will be training to be a chaser and a back up seeker in case Harry is out"
" Got it" you could tell there was something wrong with me, my head was not fully in it today.
As we practiced I noticed the Slytherin team walking up to us. " Hey guys look" Harry shout from across the pitch.
"Hello Potter. Oh I forgot your petty,little girlfriend played for the Gryffindor team" I heard Malfoy's voice echo across the pitch. I flew over and landed in front of Harry, " Draco I don't know what your problem is but you better go sort it out with your petty, little, pure-blood boyfriends" I heard it come out of my mouth, I tried to stop it I couldn't, I don't know what came over me. "Sorry" I said under my breathe but I don't think they heard me. Everyone was looking at me, as I walked away from the pitch. I could tell Ginny was shocked maybe even angry I don't know, but what I do know is I just made a huge mistake. " Did you just say sorry to me. Ha I knew you was as weak as Harry" I heard Draco shout I turned around to see the Gryffindor team all looking angry at me including Ginny and the whole of the Slytherin team laughing at me. My eyes where watering up. All I could do was run. I am normally shy but quidditch is my way of being confident but now I don't even want to go back.

At lunch I went to talk to Ginny, when I found her she didn't even make eye contact with me."What were you doing Sam?" Ginny was clearly angry, you could tell that voice she used for Draco was now the one she used for me. What had I done. " I told you to stay out of it, now your involved in something you shouldn't be. You can really mess things up can't you" I had upset her and now wasn't the time to tell her I didn't want to play for the team but I had to, " Ginny next time you see Wood could you tell him I don't want to play for the team" shock filled Ginny's face. I had made it worse.
" Sam I don't know what's got into you. Why are you behaving like this?"
" Why am I behaving like this? The question is why are you behaving like this. Changing for a boy, I thought that was not you, I thought you didn't like boys. Well that changed quickly didn't it." Yet again I don't know what came over me, all my thoughts were coming out my mouth. As I looked at Ginny I saw her tears coming down her face, " That's what you think of me Sam, am I really changing" All I could do was stand there frozen, I had just lost my best friend. She was right what was wrong with me. She ran to Harry and hugged him, I was now out of the picture.
