"Jamie. Gracie." Claudia thought as she woke up, Nathan rolled over and woke up too. 

"Jamie. Gracie." He thought as well and then he looked at his wife. "God, my girl is hot." He added and Claudia tucked her hair behind her ear.

"Morning." Claudia sighed happily. 

"Morning." Nathan replied as he leaned in to kiss, next thing he knew he had two sets off feet blocking his way. "You know, I'm hungry this morning." Nathan smirked and Claudia grinned.

"I am starving." She replied and they started to fake eat their children's feet. Everyone was laughing and it was great.

Nathan walked into the kitchen, he had just left Grace who was playing around with her toy butterflies up the stairs. Grace loved nature and wildlife. Claudia and Jamie were sitting in the kitchen eating pancakes.  

"Smells good in here." Nathan smiled as he walked into the kitchen. 

"Yeah, I made some pancakes." Claudia replied before she bit into the pancakes. Her and Jamie had covered them in chocolate sauce. 

"Nice." Nathan smiled as he continued to walk towards them.

"It's totally good, daddy." Jamie exclaimed.

"It's totally good." Claudia repeated as she ate some herself. 

"That's not what I meant, but that smells good, too." Nathan whispered before he kissed Claudia and sat down beside her at the breakfast bar.

"Good morning." Claudia grinned, butterflies were flipping through her stomach.

"What's your day like?" Nathan asked Claudia. 

"Mostly just playing." Jamie shrugged before he continued to eat his pancakes. Both parents laughed at the cuteness of their son. 

"My day's not bad either. I'm just gonna grade some papers and then go over to see Peyton for a little bit, and then you and I have to interview the," Claudia explained looking at Nathan, "N-A-N-N-I-E-S." Claudia spelt out loud, so Jamie wouldn't understand. 

"I hate it when you spell." Jamie groaned and Claudia shook her head. 

"Don't say, hate." Claudia replied before she drank her juice.  

"Sorry. I just think it's D-U-M." Jamie spelt out incorrectly. 

"Add a "B" to the end of that, or you will be, too." Nathan joked as Claudia ate her pancakes. "Jamie, what do you think about going to practice with me today?" Nathan asked and Jamie's face lit up.

"Can I?" Jamie asked excitably. He then decided to give his mom puppy dog eyes. 

"I don't know. It's a big step. What do you think, mom?" Nathan asked giving Claudia puppy dogs eyes as well. Claudia was caving in, she sighed out loud. 

"Please be careful." Claudia smiled and Jamie's face lit up. 

"Sweet! I'll go get my jersey. Thanks, mama. I L-O-V-E you!" Jamie exclaimed happily. 

"I L-O-V-E you, too, smarty-pants." Claudia spelt out before she tap on Jamie's nose with her finger. Jamie jumped off of the stool and ran out of the room. 

"Kids got your brains. I just figured out that you were spelling nannies." Nathan replied serious and Claudia grinned a little.

"You're funny." Claudia replied sarcastically. "They're getting here at 5:00, by the way. And if you run into Quentin at practice, will you tell him he's doing a really great job with his chapterreports on "Les Mis"?" Claudia asked and Nathan nodded his head as he stood up.

"That's good. Now if only he could figure out his jump shot." Nathan explained before he kissed his wife on the lips. "I'll see ya." He smiled as he grabbed her last pancake. She groaned and Nathan grinned before he walked away. 

"Bye, baby." Claudia shouted after him grinning. 

"Bye, baby." Heidi joked to Nathan as she walked over to Claudia. Claudia laughed at her best friend. "So opening night is next week, can you still make it?" Heidi asked, her drama group had been planning this performance and Heidi was the main lead. Claudia gave her a 'duh face'.

"I wouldn't miss it!" Claudia exclaimed and Heidi smiled as she sat down next to her. "Is your secret boyfriend coming?" Claudia asked with her eyebrow raised. Heidi blushed and laughed a little. "I can't wait to meet him." Claudia added and Heidi shook her head.

"You will scare him off." Heidi stated taking a piece of toast. She looked at the clock and gasped. "I am so late, I have to go." Heidi exclaimed before she ran out of the kitchen. 

"Bye." Claudia shouted after her laughing, Nathan walked in at the same time with Grace. 

"Why does our daughter have a tattoo of a butterfly where your tattoo is?" Nathan asked as Grace shouted her tattoo to her mom.

"It's cool, momma gave it you me." Grace exclaimed excitably and Claudia laughed.

"Oh come on. She likes butterflies and she wanted a tattoo where her momma has hers." Claudia explained and Nathan couldn't believe his daughter a temporary tramp stamp. "It comes off." Claudia added and Grace nodded her head as Jamie ran in.

"Let's go daddy." He shouted and Grace looked at them. 

"Where are you going?" She asked and Nathan lifted her up smiling.

"Practice. Do you want to come Gracie-May?" Jamie asked and Grace nodded her head excitably. 

"You are going to need to put on shoes, though." Nathan stated and Grace shook her head.

"I don't need shoes." Grace smiled and Nathan turned to face Claudia.

"This is just unbelievable" He stated in shock, she was so much like Claudia, and Claudia grinned happily. Nathan left with the kids and Claudia went back to grading her papers.

"Uncle Lucas!" Jamie and Grace shouted in unison as they ran straight to him. Lucas walked in with Skills. Skills was feeling uneasy because he blamed himself for what happened to Jamie. 

"Hey! There's the man! There's my little angel!" Lucas shouted as he hugged his niece and nephew. Skills stood back, he felt really awkward. He also felt like Claudia and Nathan hated him for what happened to Jamie. 

"I missed you guys." Lucas sighed as he hugged the kids. 

"Daddy said you were on a ship. Did you see any pirates?" Jamie asked excitably. 

"Did you see mermaids?" Grace asked hopefully, Lucas nodded his head.

"Yeah, I saw a couple pirate ships, but they didn't want any part of me. I also saw some mermaids, they were really cool." Lucas explained and the kids were beaming with joy. "You want to show me your jump shot?" Lucas asked them both and they nodded their heads. "All right." Lucas smiled as he watched the kids run off. He stood up and Nathan walked towards him. 

"Welcome back, Luke. You good?" He asked before he bro-hugged Lucas. 

"I'm working on it." Lucas replied before they watched the kids play. 

"I have a tattoo!" Grace exclaimed before she took the ball off of Jamie and tried to shoot. Lucas raised his eyebrow at Nathan who just shook his head.

Nathan was standing in between his children as they looked at the jersey's on the wall. On the far left there was Nathan's jersey and then on the far right there was Whitey's. However, there was a vacant space in the middle- Dan's was once hung there. 

"There's something missing up on the wall." Grace pointed out. 

"There used to be another one." Nathan said. 

"What was it?" Jamie asked as he wore his cape. 

"That was your grandfather's jersey." Nathan replied as he looked at the vacant slot. 

"Grandpa Dan? Why'd they take it down?" Grace asked as she looked up at her dad. 

"Because of the bad things he did. People decided they didn't want it up there anymore." Nathan exclaimed as he placed a hand on each of his children's shoulders. 

JAMIE : You do bad things sometimes, daddy, and yours is still up there.

"Not that bad" Nathan sighed as he looked up at the outline of the frame that was once there. 

"Ho, ho! There they are!" Quentin exclaimed as he walked into the school gym. "I said it's J. Luke Scott. The boy is hot Wherever he goes, homey, that's the spot. Then we have our little princess, G. May Scott, the girl a genius. Wherever she goes, dawg, that's the spot." Quentin rapped and the children danced along.

"His name is "Q", he's better than you If the spot is hot, then he's there, too" Jamie and Grace wrapped in unison. Nathan decided to join in.

"I'm the dad and I'm not so bad" Nathan wrapped at him and they all looked at him as they shook their heads.

"As momma would say, don't quit your day job." Grace smiled sweetly and Quentin laughed out loud. Lucas and Skills walk in. They all decided to go to hospital and see for themselves if Quentin was okay or not.

Peyton was listening to demos in Red Bedroom Records when Claudia walked in. She wanted to start her music again. 

"Hey, knock, knock." Claudia smiled. 

"Hey, foxy, what's up?" Peyton asked as she leaned on the desk. 

"I like that outfit" Claudia complimented. 

"Oh, thank you. There are perks to having a very famous designer as a roommate. You get tons of free stuff. Speaking of, check out all these demos." Peyton explained before she showed Claudia all of her new demos. 

"Wow. Looks like things are picking up, huh?" Claudia asked as she walked over to the demos. 

"Well, mostly because your instincts are pretty kick-ass, Claudia Elizabeth Scott. Mia's album is killing it. And are you ready for this? She has sold... 40,000 copies!" Peyton exclaimed happily. 

"Wow! That's great! That's really great! She... she's really the kind of girl that deserves it." Claudia grinned, she was happy for Mia but at the same time jealous, she wished it was her.  

"I know. Now I just need to find another one." Peyton said kind of glum. 

"Well, I already did... you. You deserve all the success you're getting and more, and I'm really proud of you." Claudia replied honestly. 

"Thanks, Claudia. That really... that means a lot to me coming from you." Peyton replied heart felt. 

"That was just to butter you up, 'cause I need to ask you for a favor." Claudia grinned and Peyton laughed. 

"You are a crack-up. What is it? Anything." Peyton asked. Claudia sighed deeply. She clasped her hands together with nerves. 

"So, you know how you're looking for the next great artist and you really trust my instincts and everything?" Claudia asked nervously. 

"Do you have a demo for me?" Peyton asked excitably and Claudia nodded her head. "Claudia, that's awesome. Who is it?" Peyton asked eagerly.

"Claudia Scott." Claudia grinned nervously and Peyton threw all of the demos off of the desk. 

"Yes." She stated honestly and Claudia hugged her with such joy. 

___

Peyton had  just finished listening to one of Claudia's demos. She had no backing track so it was just her voice and some piano. 

"I know it's really rough, but I was thinking..." Claudia began to say before Peyton interrupted.

"Yes." Peyton grinned, she loved the new edgy style Claudia was going for. 

"But it's okay if you want..." Claudia began to say nervously but Peyton cut in. 

"Will you stop? The answer is yes, okay? I've been waiting for the opportunity to buy the next Claudia Scott record, so of course I want to record it." Peyton exclaimed and Claudia was so excited. 

"It might be kind of fun, huh?" Claudia asked grinning. 

"Well, you did have a major-label debut that did pretty good, so it is good business for me, but, yes, it's gonna be a blast." Peyton joked a little and Claudia laughed. 

"Yeah." Claudia smiled. 

"What do you say?" Peyton asked happily. 

"I say it's exactly what I need right now." Claudia answered honestly. 

"Well, guess what. Me too." Peyton replied grinning. 

"What?" Claudia asked a little confused.

"I mean, you never know where the next miracle's gonna come from." Peyton explained just before the phone rang.  Peyton looked at who was calling. "It's Brooke." Peyton stated before she put the phone on speaker.  

"Hey, Brooke!" Claudia shouted.

"Hey, what's going on?" Peyton asked grinning. 

"It's a miracle!" Brooke exclaimed happily and Claudia was shocked. 

"Yeah. We just said that. What, did you bug my office?" Peyton asked jokingly. 

"They're giving me a baby!" Brooke exclaimed happily as she walked around a baby store. She was picking up everything. 

"Hold on. What?" Peyton asked taken back. 

"What?" Claudia asked shocked. 

"The lady from the agency called this morning, and they're sending me..." Brooke began to say and then she stopped when she saw a purple monkey stuffed toy. "A purple monkey?" Brooke smiled in awe as she looked at it. Claudia raised her eye brows confused. 

"You're adopting a purple monkey?" Peyton asked confused and Claudia laughed.

"No, not adopting and not a monkey. I'll explain it all later. Peyton, how crazy is this?" Brooke squealed happily. It was everything she had ever wanted. She was getting a baby. She was going to look after a baby from another country so they could get medical treatment.  

"No, Brooke, honey, that's awesome. God, Claudia and I thought we had big news." Peyton explained from the office. 

"Why? What's your news?" Brooke asked intrigued from the other lines. 

"We're gonna make an album together." Claudia exclaimed excitably, Brooke shook her head.

"Oh, whatever." She sighed. "I'm getting a baby. I have to go. I'll call you later." Brooke said really quickly before she ended the phone call. Claudia and Peyton looked at each other.  

"Wow. Today has been fun." Claudia laughed and Peyton joined in.

Nathan, Lucas, Grace and Jamie were in the elevator. They had just found out that Quentin had broken his hand. The elevator doors opened and Dan walked in. Nathan and Lucas glared at him. 

"Hi, grandpa." Jamie and Grace said in unison, smiling at their grandpa. Nathan was furious. He placed a protective hand on both of his kids shoulders.

"Hi, Jamie, Grace." Dan smiled as he walked into the elevator, he had his back to his sons. "You boys want to jump me again, now's your chance." Dan joked cynically as his two sons looked at each other. They would if they could.

Dan was leaving the hospital when Nathan ran up to him. He was angry, he hated the fact that his murdering dad wanted to be apart of his children's lives. 

"We're not having this." Nathan stated with anger, he looked at his dad with such anger. 

"Not having what, son?" Dan asked smiling. 

"You following Jamie and Grace around. I've seen you outside of the school. I've seen you driving past the house. And now you just happen to be at the hospital?" Nathan listed confused. Dan didn't want to hear anyone of his conspiracies. 

"Nathan, stop. I was in prison for a long time, okay? I was just getting a checkup." Dan explained. "But the truth is, I was hoping..." Dan began to say but Nathan shook his as he interrupted. 

"No. Don't, Dan. Don't hope. You hear me? There's no hope for you." Nathan spat coldly before he walked back into the hospital. 

___

Claudia was showing Claudia all of her baby stuff. Turns out Brooke didn't buy what she actually needed for the child. 

"Claudia, thank you. This is great." Brooke smiled honestly.

"Sure. Listen, have you given any thought to how difficult it's gonna be to give this baby up after the surgery? You know you're gonna fall for her, Brooke." Claudia explained, she didn't want to scare Brooke out of it but she wanted to make sure that Brooke was going to be okay after it all.

"I know. But she needs help, right?" Brooke replied and Claudia nodded her head. 

"Yeah." Claudia smiled, she loved what she was doing to help the little baby. 

"Hey. What's going on?" Nathan asked as he walked into the kitchen with Jamie. He was confused as to why Claudia and Brooke were looking at baby stuff. 

"Where's Grace?" Claudia asked confused as she looked at Nathan.

"She wanted to play with her butterfly toys." Nathan explained and Claudia nodded her head. 

"Hi." Brooke smiled as she waved her hand. Jamie ran up to his Auntie. Brooke was not his godmothers but Grace's. 

"Hi, aunt Brooke!" Jamie exclaimed as he reached Brooke. 

"Hi, best boy ever! I have a surprise for you." Brooke grinned as she hugged Jamie. 

"What is it?" Jamie asked excitably. Brooke was so excited to tell everyone about her getting a child. 

"I found the car seat." Peyton smiled holding the car seat. She entered the room at the same time as Lucas. 

"Surprise." Brooke muttered as Peyton and Lucas looked at each other. They had not spoken since the wedding. Or since Peyton interrupted the wedding, told Lucas her feelings and influenced Lindsey to leave her wedding. Lucas had been trying to get Lindsey back.

"I am going to see if Heidi wants me to play with her." Claudia said awkwardly before she practically ran out of the room. Lucas and Peyton had stopped looking at each other.

Nathan and Claudia were interviewing the nannies together. 

The first one was pretty and kind of looked like Carrie. 

"So, I see you know CPR, and you're also a lifeguard." Claudia smiled as she read it off of the women's resume. 

"Yes." The girl smiled and Claudia looked up at the girl.

"Have you ever kissed any of the husbands you worked for?" She asked with all seriousness and Nathan looked at Claudia shocked while the girl felt awkward. 

The second one was a blonde, pretty girl 

Claudia looked at her and shook her head. 

"Okay... No." Claudia smiled seriously, and Nathan just shrugged his shoulders at the girl. 

The third one was young and pretty too. 

Claudia looked at her and shook her head. 

"Well... Sorry." Claudia stated and the girl just looked sad.

The next one is a guy, who obviously had a crush on Nathan. 

"So, Nathan... Claudia tells me you like to watch your nanny swim naked in the pool?" The guy asked and Claudia grinned over at Nathan. She loved joking around. 

"I guess I deserved that." Nathan sighed and Claudia laughed.

___

Claudia was looking through resumes when Nathan walked in. He had just put the kids to bed. 

"Jamie and Gracie are out cold. I wish I could sleep like that." Nathan said honestly and Claudia laughed. 

"Yeah, tell me about it." She sighed as she flipped through the resumes. Nathan sat down on the foot stool opposite Claudia. 

"So, I'm sorry you couldn't find a nanny that you could trust around me." Nathan replied smiling and Claudia looked at him with an raised eyebrow at him.

"Too soon." She laughed and Nathan nodded his head. 

"All right." He stated and Claudia placed the resumes on her knee. 

"The truth is, I just want Jamie and Grace all to myself right now." Claudia sighed as she looked at her husband. "But I also want my job and I want my music and I want alone time with you." Claudia explained. 

"You should take a break from that. Let me go through those things. I'll try to find a person that's really ugly with a lot of great references." Nathan joked and Claudia grinned at him. 

"Actually, you can't, because I thought you might want to get a workout in." Claudia smiled as she lifted up a basketball with her foot and placed it beside Nathan. "Our therapist said that we should focus on the things that we love, so... I think she's right." Claudia explained and Nathan looked down at the ball. 

"I'm probably really gonna suck, you know." Nathan sighed and Claudia placed a hand on his cheek. 

"You got to find out sometime, right?" Claudia replied as she moved her thumb backwards and forth on Nathan's cheek. 

"Thank you, Claudia... for everything." Nathan smiled honestly and Claudia took her hand back beside her. 

"You're welcome." Claudia replied and Nathan took the ball. He began to walk away when Claudia said, "thank you back." Nathan kissed her and then he left. Claudia smiled happy with herself as she continued to look through all of the resumes. But she didn't like any of them.

Claudia was sitting at the piano playing her song, Jamie and Grace were drawing pictures at the table.

"I thought that I loved you. While my soul was asking why. Why I'm not surprised. I lost my faith in the truth. And in turn I lost you. But I won't cry myself to sleep no. Stop before it starts. Gonna find myself a pain. And write down my heart." Claudia sang as she played on the tune on the piano. Nathan walked in holding beer, he smiled at his wife. 

"New song?" He asked and Claudia stopped playing the piano, she turned to face him. 

"Yeah." Claudia grinned as she stood up and walked over to him. 

"Nice." Nathan smiled as they sat down on the couch together. 

"Thank you. Actually, I think I'm gonna record that album with Peyton." Claudia replied and Nathan raised his eyebrows.

"Really?" He asked smiling and Claudia nodded her head. "That's great, Claudia." He grinned and they hugged on the couch. 

"Yes, it is. How'd your workout go?" Claudia asked as she kneeled on the couch beside him, she was facing him. 

"Not so good. But you know what? Whatever happens, we're gonna be fine." Nathan replied optimistically and Claudia agreed with him.

"Yeah, we will." Claudia smiled happily. 

"Hello?" A voice from a far shouted, Claudia grinned at Nathan.

"Who is that?" Nathan asked with a furrowed brow. 

"That's the new nanny mama hired." Grace smiled as Deb, Nathan's mom, walked in. 

"Did someone call for a nanny?" Deb asked grinning, Claudia smiled at Nathan.  

"Grandma!" Jamie shouted excitably, him and Grace both stood up.

"What did I tell you about that? Grandma Deb is way too young to be a grandma." Deb explained and Claudia laughed.

"Sorry. Nanny Deb!" Jamie and Grace said in unison as they hugged their grandma. 

"I like that so much better." Deb smiled at the two adults. 

"Hi, mom." Nathan grinned as he hugged his mom.

"Hey, Deb, you look great." Claudia complimented as she hugged Deb.

"Ooh, thank you." Deb smiled and Claudia was relieved. She didn't have to find a new nanny and it was nanny that she trusted. Nathan hugged her happily and the children had already dragged Deb away.

"You brought my mom?" He asked smiling and Claudia nodded her head.

"She is family." Claudia replied and Nathan was just so happy. "Plus I think she needs this. Especially with Dan." Claudia added and Nathan nodded his head.

"Finally she will be free from him." Nathan stated honestly and Claudia nodded her head. Deb had waited along time for this. 

___

Nathan and Claudia were lying in bed together, the kids were finally asleep and Deb had settled in. Nathan turned to face her.

"What are you thinking?" Nathan asked and Claudia looked up at the ceiling.

"Music." She replied, Nathan obviously wanted her to tell him more. "What happens if nobody likes my album? I am used to singing soul and this album will not be soul." Claudia explained getting nervous. She turned to face Nathan and he opened his arms so Claudia could hug him.

"You will be amazing. You're Claudia Scott." He smiled before he kissed her on the forehead.
