___
"We have to party. The kids are with Lucas and Nathan." Claudia exclaimed as she showed the all the beer she had acquired. It was two days before the wedding and Claudia needed to keep her mind off of Nathan. Surprisingly, he was on her mind all the time.
"What do you suggest?" Brooke asked raising an eyebrow. Claudia smirked over at Heidi.
"Aretha Franklin." Heidi giggled as she turned the stereo on. Heidi pressed play and the music started, before they knew that they were all singing.

After the song was over they all fell on the ground- Lindsay, Haley, Peyton, Brooke, Millicent, Heidi and Claudia. They were laughing constantly.
"Are you excited Linds?" Haley asked as she turned her head in Lindsay's direction.
"Nervous as hell. But I love him." Lindsay admitted and Claudia nodded her head.
"I know the feeling, both times." Claudia added and they all laughed. Peyton sighed.
"Claudia when will you get back with Nathan?" Peyton asked and Claudia just shrugged her shoulders. "He misses you like crazy, you are both missing each other." Peyton continued and Claudia just sighed deeply.
"He cheated on me." Claudia stated as she sat up.
"Okay Britney Spears, to be fair you aren't all innocent." Brooke laughed as she sat up too, so did everyone else. Claudia took a bottle of beer and drank some.
"Yes but I was just married and was in high school. Nobody thought are marriage was going to last, Nathan was drifting away at that point." Claudia explained and Heidi raised an eyebrow at the girls.
"Claudia, you were both in the wrong. You know just need to make up and be the amazing couple you were." Heidi replied and Claudia just shrugged.
"I need Oreos." She huffed as she walked into the kitchen. Claudia looked into the box of Oreos, there was a note at the bottom off it.
You are eating Oreos, so I have probably done something wrong. Whatever I did, I was sorry and I love you so can we please move on.
Nathan
Nathan must have wrote the note before Carrie kissed him. Claudia smiled down at the note, she placed it all back in the box and walked over to the girls.
"Turns out, I don't need Oreos." Claudia smiled a little as she bit her lip. The girls all looked at each other before nodding their heads.
___
Nathan was in the kitchen and Claudia walked in. She saw him and her breath hitched.
"I want to come home, Claudia. I love you." Nathan begged as he walked closer to his wife. Claudia looked down awkwardly.
"I have to get ready right now. I can't." Claudia muttered as she turned and walked away. Nathan grabbed Claudia and kissed her, it was like their very first kiss. Claudia broke the kiss off and stared into his brown eyes.
"You shouldn't have done that." She whispered, like she did with their first kiss.
"I wanted to." Nathan admitted and Claudia looked at his lips before sighing.
"Yeah." She whispered before she kissed him again. It started to rain in the house, everything was getting wet. "God I love rain." Claudia giggled as she looked up at the rain. Nathan laughed as he watched his wife, they then went back to kissing.
However, that was all a dream in Nathan's head. He was actually in the shower missing Claudia so much. He missed being a big happy family with her and the kids.
___
In a private room, Lucas was already ready and he was helping Jamie get ready for the wedding. It was Lucas' big day and he was so excited.
"All right, dude, sit still. You want to be the second-best-looking guy in this church, don't you?" Lucas asked his godson just when Nathan walked into the room.
"Second best?" Nathan asked and Jamie's face lit up when he saw his dad.
"Daddy!" Jamie squealed as he ran up to his dad. Nathan lifted him up laughing.
"Jamie's gonna be the man. I'm gonna be second-best. You'll be lucky to make the top 10, Luke." Nathan explained as he held his son in his arms.
"Thanks." Lucas muttered sarcastically.
"Oh, come here. I love you, boy." Nathan sighed as he hugged his son. "How much have you growing the last week... a foot?" Nathan asked jokingly.
"Maybe. Aunt Karen didn't even know me." Jamie answered in his baby voice. Nathan carried Jamie over to the seat Jamie was originally sitting on.
"All right." Nathan smirked as he placed Jamie onto the seat.
"Ooh, and daddy, did you see mama? She looked pretty." Jamie smiled and Nathan looked at him as he kneeled down in front of Jamie.
"I'll bet." Nathan sighed as he thought about his wife. "You know the drill, right? You're gonna lead Lindsey down the aisle with Lily and Gracie-May, and then when you get to me, you're gonna give me these two rings." Nathan explained and Jamie looked at the rings with such awe.
"Treasure!" Jamie exclaimed and Nathan nodded his head.
"Nice, huh? And worth, like, all the money in the world." Nathan exaggerated cutely. "So when I give them to you, don't lose them, okay? 'Cause uncle Lucas can't finish his second book, and he's poor." Nathan joked and Jamie pouted.
"I'm sorry you're poor, uncle Lucas." Jamie said honestly and Nathan smirked over at Lucas.
"Thanks, Jamie." Lucas smiled and Nathan turned to face Jamie.
"Hey, daddy, when you married mama, was it your best day ever?" Jamie asked intrigued and Nathan shook his head.
"Actually, I think the day I graduated high school was my best day ever." Nathan explained and Jamie looked confused.
"How come?" He asked.
"Well, 'cause that's the day you and Grace were born." Nathan explained as he finished putting Jamie's shoes on. "Now, lace 'em up. Chop-chop." Nathan smiled before he stood up and walked over to Lucas. "Got any intel for me with my girl?" Nathan asked and Lucas shrugged.
"Not really. She misses you. She's still stubborn. Same as last week. But I'll tell you, it kind of sucks for you that my mom's here." Lucas explained and Nathan furrowed his brow.
"Why's that?" Nathan asked confused.
"Well, she raised a son with a really great uncle and no husband." Lucas replied and Nathan understood.
"Dan sucks." He sighed and Lucas nodded his head as a guy entered holding flowers.
"Flowers for the bride... who's clearly not here. Sorry." The guy said awkwardly and that was when the two Scott Brothers got an idea.
"I'll take 'em." They both stated in unison. Nathan really wanted to see Claudia, he hadn't spoke to her in ages.
___
Jamie was holding the flowers, and Lucas and Nathan followed him to Lindsey's private room. That was where all the girls where, getting ready. Nathan wanted to see his wife and Lucas wanted to see his soon to be wife.
"Dude, you got to give me this one. If I take these flowers to Lindsey, I get some face time with Claudia." Nathan explained desperately. Lucas shook his head.
"Forget it, man. Lindsey's been staying with Claudia to make it all romantic. I haven't seen her in a week." Lucas replied and Nathan raised his eyebrows.
"So? It's bad luck. Besides, what do you think is gonna go down before your wedding in a church?" Nathan asked and Lucas furrowed his eyebrows.
"Oh, you underestimate me." Lucas stated as they continued to walk down the Church corridors. Jamie was still in front holding the flowers.
"Lucas, you're going to hell. Listen. You and Lindsey are good, okay. You're still in that blissed-out,best-underwear, she-still-laughs at-your-stupid-jokes phase." Nathan argued, he really wanted to see his wife.
"My jokes aren't stupid." Lucas argued and Nathan nodded his head.
"That's what you think. Look, the point is, I need this, okay? I'm fading fast here." Nathan explained as Claudia opened the door up when Jamie knocked.
"Oh, flowers from a gentleman." Claudia smiled a she let Jamie into the room. Nathan was getting desperate at this moment in time.
"Hey, we can help you out with that." Lucas shouted and Claudia laughed.
"Hey, look who it is." Nathan smiled and Claudia raised her eyebrow. Claudia shut the door so she was outside with the two half-brothers.
"Hey, look who it is?" Claudia asked laughing a little. "God Nathan if you want me back you got to do better than that." Claudia sighed and Nathan just shrugged.
"How do you suggest I get my girl back then?" He asked and Claudia just shrugged and then she thought for a moment. When he said 'my girl' Claudia got butterflies. Every time. She loved hearing it. It made her world complete.
"I don't know grovelling, flattery, gifts. The whole lot, then I might just consider it." Claudia smirked jokingly- she didn't need all of that she just wanted to be able to trust him again- before she opened up the door a tiny bit. "Gracie-May, daddy is outside." Claudia smiled at her daughter as she played with Jamie. Claudia could feel Lucas trying to look if Lindsay was inside. "Lucas stop it." Claudia warned as Grace ran to her dad.
"Claudia, are my jokes stupid?" Lucas asked and Claudia turned around to face him confused.
"About as dumb as Nathan's." Claudia smirked before she shut the door behind them. Nathan was speaking to his daughter.
"Gracie-May, I think you will be the prettiest girl out there." Nathan smiled as he held Grace in his arms. Grace shook her head.
"No way. Have you seen momma? She looks beautiful." Grace exclaimed and Nathan nodded his head.
"Your momma always looks beautiful." Nathan admitted feeling upset. Claudia heard on the other side of the door. She smiled and bit her lip, it had been a while since Nathan said that about her.
___
Claudia marched out of the church and over to a big black car. Dan's big black car. She went to the car and Dan rolled down the window. Claudia couldn't even look at the bastard.
"Can I help you?" Claudia asked rudely.
"Hello, Claudia." Dan smirked and Claudia was so close to slapping him, like really close.
"Save it. You're not going into that church. And you're not gonna talk to my son, my daughter, my husband, Karen, or Lucas, for that matter." Claudia explained angrily and sternly. There was no way Dan was coming remotely close to them.
"You should be careful about being so bossy. I've been in prison a long time. Kind of sexy." Dan smirked and Claudia kicked his car with rage.
"Don't screw with me, Dan. This is the last conversation you and I will ever have. Enjoy your reprehensible, miserable life." Claudia spat before she walked back into the church. She couldn't take how angry he was.
___
The wedding began and Claudia walked through the doors first. She looked at the alter where Lucas and Nathan were standing. All she could think about how perfect Nathan was standing there. Nathan was breathless when he saw his wife. She smiled at all of her friends as she continued to walk.
"What are you thinking, Mrs. Scott?" Nathan asked, a few years ago, in their old apartment. The couple were married and lying in bed. Claudia was looking at her beautiful new ring.
"Big things. Big, important things." She smiled up at him.
"Like, "this isn't how I pictured my wedding night"?" Nathan asked jokingly and Claudia sat up on the bed and smiled at her husband.
"No. Like, this is the night we're gonna tell our children about, and our children's children." Claudia explained excitably.
"I'd like to have kids someday." Nathan admitted and Claudia leaned her body on Nathan's. Their faces centimetres apart.
"A son with your eyes?" Claudia asked as she rested her hand on the side of Nathan's face.
"No. A little girl just like you." Nathan replied and Claudia smiled. "I am gonna love you forever, Claudia Elizabeth Scott. I promise." Nathan swore and Claudia smirked.
"You better Nathan Royal Scott." Claudia replied before she kissed him.
Back in the church, Claudia continued to walk up the aisle with Haley behind her. She took one look at Nathan before she stood in her place. Nathan kept his eyes on Claudia the whole time.
"You're welcome to watch from here, but I'm sure you can find a seat down below." The Musician said to the women as they both stood up in the balcony. It overlooked the whole wedding.
"No, I'm fine. My son's the ring bearer." Carrie smiled creepily.
___
"It's a mystery how we fall in love, who we fall in love with, why we fall in love. But we do. Lucas Eugene Scott, do you take Lindsey Evelyn Strauss to be your lawfully wedded wife? Do you..." The Minister began to say before Peyton interrupted. Claudia loved weddings and she kept on getting flashbacks from her own.
"Nathan, it's been said that there's one word that will free us from the weight and the pain of life, and that world is love. And I believe that." Claudia started smiling immensely at her husband. "I believe that I could love you today, tomorrow and a million more years. We have had our ups and downs, trust me." Claudia stated and everyone laughed, including Nathan. "But I never stopped loving you to the fullest, despite what I said." Claudia said sheepishly as people stifled a laugh again. "You make me brave, you make me strong and you make me- me. Claudia Scott. I will love you till the end of time. Always and Forever." Claudia finished smiling up at her husband.
"Nathan?" The Priest asked turning to face Nathan. Claudia was excited for what he was about to say.
"Last year we stood on a beach, and I told you how much I loved you and how I would always, always protect you." Nathan stated and Claudia smiled back nostalgic. "That day, nobody believe that this would work. But I don't think anybody understand the love that I had for you, because if they did, they would have never doubted us. So, I wanted to marry you all over again, in front of most of our world, because today, when I look into your eyes, my love for you only grows." Nathan continued and one tear trickled down Claudia's face. "It's even stronger now. And our love will never waver. This I Vow to you, today and always, and forever." Nathan finished and Claudia smiled.
"Forever." Claudia muttered to herself biting her lip.
Back in the church, Peyton had just stood up and interrupt the whole thing. Claudia gasped shocked.
"Lucas, you can't!" Peyton confessed and Claudia looked at Haley wide-eyed.
"That's what I'm talking about!" Skills shouted jokingly. Claudia couldn't believe what was happening.
"I'm sorry. I'm... I'm sorry, but you just... you can't, because I love you, and because you fixed my car!" Peyton exclaimed desperately. This was the last chance she was ever going to get to showcase her true feelings. Lindsey's blood was boiling.
"Oh, boy." Brooke muttered as she watched the whole awkward interruption. Nathan was shocked at what was happening like everyone else.
"Remember that day? Because that day changed everything, and I didn't know it at the time. But when you fixed my car, you fixed my heart. And when you proposed to me two years ago, I just wasn't ready. And I was lost and scared, so I said "someday," but someday is now, Luke, it is. Someday is now, and I love you. Please don't leave me again. People always leave." Peyton burst out and Claudia looked at Haley. They were both gobsmacked. Lucas told the minister to continue to ceremony quietly. An awkward Peyton sat back down, as she knew it was useless. However, Lindsey was having doubts.
"Do you promise to be true to her? In sickness and in health and as long as you both shall live?" The Minister asked and Lucas nodded his head as he looked into Lindsey's eyes. Claudia couldn't believe what Peyton had just done.
"I do." Lucas smiled as he slid the ring on Lindsey's finger. Claudia watched. She was so proud of her best friend for turning his life around after Peyton. He was getting everything he ever wanted.
"I got to go to the bathroom." Grace whispered in Skills ear as they wedding continued.
"All right, let's go." Skills said and Grace shook her head.
"Can I go by myself? Lily will make fun of me. Let me do it. I know where it is." Grace begged as she pouted a little.
"All right, Jamie you go with her and come right back, you hear me?" Skills warned and the twins nodded their heads.
"I will." Jamie promised as him and Grace quickly slid off to the bathroom. Claudia watched before she turned back to the ceremony.
Jamie and Grace were walking towards the bathroom together. Grace stood at the women's bathroom.
"I will be five minutes don't move." Grace smiled before she ran in. Carrie walked over to Jamie.
"Jamie!" She shouted and Jamie turned to face her grinning.
"Nanny Carrie!" He exclaimed as he ran over and the pair hugged.
"Oh, god, I missed you so much." Carrie sighed as she held Jamie in her arms. She was so happy right now.
"What are you doing here, nanny Carrie?" Jamie asked confused as they stopped hugging.
"Your mom and dad said I could be with you again. Oh, I get you back, and I'm so happy. Come on." Carrie explained ushering Jamie towards the door. She wanted to do it swiftly and quickly so nobody would see or hear.
"I'm not supposed to leave the church." Jamie replied and Carrie smiled at him sweetly.
"Jamie, you know I love you. Don't you trust me?" Carrie asked and Jamie thought for a moment before replying.
"Okay." Jamie smiled and they both left the church. Grace walked out of the church and saw that her brother wasn't there. She thought he was back at the seat so she walked back to the wedding.
___
The Ceremony was still going on and Claudia couldn't help but look at Nathan through the corner of her eye. She missed him so much and wanted to be with him. But she just couldn't trust him and she was way to stubborn.
"It was a comet." Lindsey stated and everyone was confused. "It was a comet, Luke." Lindsey added and Lucas turned to the minister.
"Could you just give us a moment, please?" Lucas asked the minister and he nodded his head.
"The boy saw a comet." Lindsey repeated and Claudia furrowed her brows confused.
"Okay." Lucas laughed awkwardly.
"The boy saw the comet, and he felt as though his life had meaning. And when it went away, he waited his entire life for it to come back to him." Lindsey explained, Lucas didn't know where she was taking this. No one did.
"Lindsey, I love you, but this really isn't the time for a book review, okay?" Lucas asked jokingly, trying to change the subject.
"What was the first day you ever talked to Peyton?" Lindsey asked and Claudia looked at them confused. Haley was feeling the exact same.
"Lindsey." Lucas stated, he knew that if he told Lindsey it would make everything worse.
"Please." Lindsey begged, she needed to know.
"Her car broke down." Lucas sighed and Lindsey nodded her head. Everything was coming together piece by piece.
"The boy saw the comet... and suddenly his life had meaning. I'm sorry, Lucas. I can't marry you." Lindsey explained bluntly before she gave Lucas wedding back and ran out of the church. Claudia gasped with shock and Lucas' looked devastated. Hell, he was devastated.
___
Claudia ran out of the church, she was looking for Jamie. She was desperately calling his name. Frantically searching for him.
"Jamie!" Claudia screamed and then she saw Grace standing right in front of her. Grace was the last one to see Jamie and she was getting worried.
"Sweetie, when did you last see Jamie?" Claudia asked trying to stay calm for her little girl. She knew that Grace was really hurting.
"Last time I saw him, he was outside of the bathroom." Grace explained and then Heidi walked over to them. She leaned into Claudia's here.
"Do you want me to distract Grace for you?" She asked sympathetically and Claudia nodded her head. Heidi lifted up Grace and took her over to the grass. Claudia continued to walk and shout.
"Jamie! Jamie!" Claudia called but it was useless.
"Claudia, any luck?" Karen asked as she reached Claudia. Claudia held back the tears and swallowed a little.
"No. I'm really getting worried right now. Dan was here. I saw him earlier. What do..." Claudia rambled as Andy, Karen's partner, ran up to them.
"No luck inside. I'm sorry." Andy explained sympathetically and Claudia was stressing out.
"I'm so sorry, Claudia. I should have went with them." Skills apologised but Claudia wasn't listening. Not because she was annoyed with Skills but because she needed to find Jamie. That was her main priority.
"Mouth and Millicent are taking another look around back." Andy explained and Claudia looked around frantically. It all meant nothing to her if she couldn't have Jamie.
"Claudia. Hey, what's going on?" Nathan asked as he ran over to his wife, who was dying on the inside. She was trying to hold back the tears but it was no use.
"Jamie's gone, and Dan was here." Claudia explained crying.
"What?" Nathan asked shocked. He was freaking out, his son was lost.
"He's missing. Dan came by. I told him he was not to come into the church, and now he's gone... we've looked everywhere!" Claudia explained frantically and Nathan saw a police car coming down the street. "Nathan!" Claudia screamed as she saw her husband run out in front of the police car. He was able to stop it. The police officers got out of the car angrily.
"What the hell are you doing?" The police officer asked annoyed and Claudia walked up to Nathan.
"My son is missing, okay?" Nathan asked frantically. Claudia stood closer to Nathan on a hope that it would calm him down.
"All right, calm down. You could have got yourself killed." The Police Officer explained and Claudia's breath hitched at the thought of losing Nathan too.
"We just left the wedding, okay? All the guests are gone, and my son is missing. He's 4 1/2 years old." Nathan explained getting worked up. The other police officer decided to speak up.
"Have you been drinking, sir? Have you been to the reception?" He asked and Nathan scoffed.
"What kind of question is that? Have I been drinking?" Nathan asked angrily and Claudia slipped her hand into Nathan's. Nathan felt a sense of warmth but he was still angry.
"Hey, you need to listen to me." The police officer warned and Nathan took a step forward.
"No, you listen to me! My name is Nathan Scott, okay? My father is Dan Scott. He was arrested for murder, okay? He's a bad guy, and he was here today." Nathan explained and the police officers looked at each other. "Now, either one of you two idiots gets on your radio right now and finds my son, or I'll knock you both out and I'll do it myself!" Nathan warned and Claudia looked at the officers.
"Hey, you need to relax, all right?... Dispatch, I have a 9-20c Charlie... missing person, critical." The police officer said into radio before he turned to the married couple. "We're gonna need an exact description of your son." The Police Officer stated and Claudia sighed as she decided to speak up.
"His name is James Lucas Scott. He's 4 1/2 years old. He's wearing a black tuxedo. He has blue eyes and sandy blond hair." Claudia explained sternly before she turned away and cried. Nathan hugged his wife, but she gently pulled away and walked around. She wasn't going to stop searching until she found her baby.
___
Claudia was sitting in the twins room, crying. She missed her son so much. She needed Jamie back home with her.
"The police are looking everywhere. Dan's license-plate number is on every single highway sign." Nathan explained as Claudia stood up and looked around the room. "Claudia, you should... you should come downstairs." Nathan said as he tried to get close to Claudia. She bit her nails anxiously.
"I don't want to." Claudia whispered as she shook her head. She just wanted to sit and cry because that was all she could do.
"Claudia..." Nathan sighed but Claudia had made up her mind.
"I don't want to!" Claudia shouted and then she turned to face her husband. "You should have been there." Claudia stated coldly as she pointed towards Nathan.
"I know." Nathan sighed as he blamed himself too.
"You're his father. You should have been there to protect him. You should have been there, and I should have let you come home." Claudia explained crying. She was blaming herself and that was not what she needed.
"This is not your fault. Claudia..." Nathan began to say but a crying Claudia interrupted.
"Yes." She whimpered and Nathan walked up to her.
"Claudia, come here." Nathan whispered as he took Claudia into his arms. It had been a while since he done that.
"I can't lose him! He's all I have." Claudia cried as she buried her head in Nathan's chest. Nathan couldn't bear to see her like this, so distraught.
"I know. It'll be okay. I know." Nathan replied sympathetically. He was trying to calm his wife down. Claudia just held onto Nathan tightly as she cried.
___
Lucas entered the room, he saw Nathan who was sitting on the seat. Grace was sitting on top of him, she was sad. She missed her brother so much. Lucas then saw Claudia, she was standing in the corner alone, getting worried. Lucas walked over to her and hugged her. He knew that Claudia needed him more than Nathan did.
"Claudia. I'm so sorry. It's gonna be okay. You got to believe that, okay? He's gonna come home." Lucas explained as he hugged Claudia. Jamie walked into the house and everyone sighed with relief. Claudia felt like she could finally breathe again.
"Mama!" Jamie shouted and Claudia grinned immensely, she thought she had lost her son.
"Jamie!" Grace smiled as she saw her brother walk in with her Grandpa Dan. Jamie ran right to Claudia and she lifted him up. Nathan lifted up Grace and all they all hugged.
"Sweetie, what happened to you? Are you okay?" Claudia asked frantically as she cried a lot.
"I'm fine. Grandpa Dan saved me." Jamie smiled and Claudia gave everyone a confused face.
"What?" Claudia asked as they all saw Dan walk in. Claudia couldn't believe it, she never wanted to see that bastard again, however, he just saved her son. Everyone looked at Dan and he smiled a little. He was reunited with everyone, but nobody wanted to see him- ever again.
