"Heading off"

A/N: alright here is chapter two and remember, this was before Bill took over Gravity Falls and all. I'm excited for the last episode though. Anyways, enjoy.

"Come on Rigby!" Mordecai yelled for his friend. "We need to go!"
"Alright I'm coming!" Rigby yelled as he was finally running out of the house and made it to the golf cart. Everyone was already there and the back of the cart was filled with technology, mostly cameras and microphones.
They were all squeezing in to make it work. "Alright everyone," Benson said looking back at his workers. "There's gonna be some rules on this trip. One: there will be no goofing or slacking off, especially you two." He pointed to the bird and raccoon.
"Whatever man." Rigby said rolling his eyes.
"Two: you do not try to be rude to the other camera crew. If you start anything stupid, you are officially fired."
"No problem Benson." Mordecai said.
Muscle Man laughed with High Five Ghost and whispered to him "Such a kiss up."
Mordecai ignored the insult he was given and continued to listen to the rules.
"And finally three: do not act like an idiot and contact Gacy or you'll be dead by morning. Everyone got the rules?"
"Question." Muscle Man raised his hand with a smirk on his face. "Can I at least give Rigby the scares?"
"Hey!" Rigby growled.
Benson sighed and said "No Muscle Man. No matter how funny that is to everyone, no scaring anybody during this trip. Understand?"
Muscle Man then groaned laying back. "Fine."
"Alright, we're off." Benson started the cart and began driving off to the haunted house out of the park.
"Dude, this is gonna be freaky." Rigby said with excitement.
"You bet dude." Mordecai said.
"I still say this is a bad idea." Skips said hoping everyone would at least listen.
"Why Skips?"
"John Wayne Gacy Jr was very dangerous back in his day and if his spirit still walks on the earth, we should leave him in evil peace. Plus bringing loads of cameras are very bad when it's a paranormal investigation."
"You mean it'll make the ghosts mad?" Rigby asked.
"Pretty much. It's their way of escaping from the spirit world to come and haunt us."
"If you think it's so bad," Muscle Man said. "Why are you coming?"
"I'm only coming along to keep you guys from walking into a trap of some sort."
"Hmph." Mordecai said. "Ghosts. More like dead bodies!"
"WHHHOOOOAA!"
"Stop saying 'whoa' or you're both fired." Benson said annoyed.
The blue jay and raccoon stayed silent but were thrilled to be joining a trip of ghostly hauntings. They just wonder if they'll make it out alive.

Meanwhile...

"Man where is Soos?" Wendy complained as she put a heavy microphone in the car. "We're gonna be late."
"Don't worry. He went to pick up Candy and Grenda with their equipment." Dipper said as he was pushing a big box.
Mabel giggled as she walked towards the car. "This is gonna blow people's mind." She said pouting the camera in her hands towards her brother.
He pushed the camera lightly away from him and asked "Mabel what are you doing with that camera?"
"I'm making a document about everything that happens while we're out there. Most people n scary movies do it all the time."
"Hey dudes!" They heard their handyman appear with the two girls and a bag of cameras. "Sorry we're a little late."
"Yeah I had to explain it to my mom. Plus I had to pee." Grenda said.
"I'm just glad you guys get to join us." Mabel ran to her friends and join their group hug.
By then, Stanford was walking towards the car with a box that look very old and was filled of dust. He put it on the ground and let Soos take it in the car. "Alright. There's all my equipment you guys will need once you finally make it."
"I am so excited." Dipper said once he peek inside his Great Uncle's box. Then he walked to him and gave him a hug.
Stanford smiled and hugged his nephew back. He missed getting those hugs. "You have a great time Dipper."
"Thanks Great Uncle Ford."
"Well come on dudes!" Wendy clapped. "Let's get moving before he finds us."
Everyone ran into the car and was settling in. The kids sat in the back seats while the teen and adult were in the front. Soos looked at everyone and asked "Everyone got their seat belts on?"
"Yes." The kids said together.
But so far Wendy never responded. Soos kept looking at her until responded but also saw she didn't have her's on. Wendy thought they would let her pass this. But it was obviously Soos wasn't going to let her do so.
She sighed and said "Alright. I'll put it on." Then she pulled it and was ready to go.
By then the car drove off and Stanford waved goodbye as they left. Dipper wave back to him. As he couldn't see him anymore, he stopped and sat back down. He started to wonder if this was such a good idea. After hearing of some things of John Wayne Gacy, he wondered if his Great Uncle Stanley was right about not going.
But the whole ride he ignored it most of the time since Mabel kept shoving the camera in her brother's face. This trip will be loads of fun for them.

To be continued...
