THE INVASION HAS STARTED.
Welcome to Sunclan,
Sunclan's camp has been surrounded by rogues, and survivors have been forced to go on their own. The clan is small, prey is scarce, and winter is always around the corner. You're one of the surviving cats from the attack, and your clan is depending on you to help them survive. You'll have to endure hunger, cold, disease, raid, dehydration, drought, relocation, and heat in the following moons to come.
Health is the amount of damage that your cat can take. All cats start off with 10 health at the beginning of the day, unless they're injured or ill, and can lose health throughout the day. Sometimes when you do a task, such as hunting, you can get attacked or get caught in some sort of trap. If your health goes down, it won't be restored the next day like usual.
Lives usually only concern leaders and are self explanatory. Lives are basically how many times a leader, or deputy, can be killed and live. If a leader got killed in a attack and had more lives, they wouldn't die. If a leader got killed in a attack and had no more lives, they would die. Sounds pretty simple right?
Stats is the mood of your cat. Your cat might wake up energetic and get one extra energy point, or your cat might feel hungry and get one less energy point. If your cat is ill, their mood will change to injured or sick:
Stats: okay
Skill is how experienced your cat is at doing certain things. Warriors have huntingskill, which helps increase how much prey they catch depending on their level. Depending on your position, you'll have different skills to work with. All cats start at level 1 from the point they're born to the point they die, unless they train their skills:
Huntingskill level: 1/10
Energy points is the amount of energy your cat has. All cats start with 4 energy points at the beginning of the day unless their stats change, or they do various tasks. A task takes away 1 energy point, unless it's an event command, and the next day you'll have all your energy replenished. We might cut down on the amount of energy you start with each day in the future.
Rank is the position your cat holds. Almost all ranks have their own special skills and commands, except for kits, and they can all do various things. Medcats are the only cats allowed to heal other players, unless there is no medcats and the leader appoints a underaged apprentice. Usually you'll have a similar rank throughout the game, and you'll specialize in what skills and abilities you'll have throughout your life.
Elders are cats that are older than 192 moons. You'll be appointed as an elder once you reach a certain age. Being an elder doesn't change anything about your cat, but you can gain 1 extra skill point. Having an extra skill point means that you have an exceeded level:
Huntingskill level: 10/11
Disease is spread by cats that are already infected. If a cat becomes ill and isn't treated by a medcat, they'll spread the disease to another cat everyday. Usually there is about 2 types of illness, and 5 kinds of illness; airborne and hereditary disease. If your parents had a disease, you have an increased chance of getting the same disease:
Stats: sick (hayfever)
Injuries are common in the clan, but usually not fatal. A typical injury requires 1-3 herbs and a medcat with a healingskill level of 1-10. There is 3 types of injury; minor, serious, and fatal. If a injury isn't treated, it'll get worse as days pass by. A minor disease could change into a fatal disease within a few days if not treated properly:
Stats: injured (minor)
Obedience is a skill shared by all leaders in the form of leadershipskill, and sometimes deputies. Obedience is how well a leader, or deputy, can tame their clan. There is a leadershipskill level of 1-11, and obedience lets the clan know how they should act. A leader can call a meeting to inform the cats of a threat nearby, and might form a patrol that night to do extra work. If the cat's obedience level is lower than 2, the cats don't have to patrol:
/request meeting (Sunstar)
Breeding is a specific command done by cats, and isn't allowed for medcats. Breeding requires a cat (male or female) to request another cat (male or female) to breed with them. When you decide to breed with another cat, you're making a commitment to know that you won't be able to do tasks for at least two days. The result of breeding is usually 1-6 kits, and depending on the season, you'll get more or less kits:
/breed with Antpool (Sunstar)
Reedeaters are a new type of class in Sunclan. A reedeater is a cat that has eaten another cat. If you're starving and desperate for food, you can eat a dead cat's carcass to refill your hydration and hunger. Reedeaters risk the slim chance of getting sick from eating rotting flesh, but a fresh carcass doesn't risk this chance or the fact that you might catch nausea:
/eat Skygaze's carcass (Sunstar)
Defenders are warriors that specialize in defensive tactics. A defender has an increased chance of survival when it comes to animal attacks or traps, but cannot become a deputy or leader. Defenders often get more prey when hunting, and can start off with more energy points during the beginning of the day.
Anglers are cats that specialize in hunting prey for the clan. Anglers typically get more prey than normal cats, and can't defend the clan in battle. Anglers are exceptionally good at the /fish command, and get more prey from fishing than hunting.
Tagging is usually used when you work in a group with other cats. A patrol or hunting party usually requires more than 1 cat, unless you prefer to do it alone. If you want someone to train with you, tagging other players will usually get you trained faster and sometimes give you more levels:
/patrol with Sunstar (Skygaze)
>>/patrol with Skygaze (Sunstar)
Training is the basics of level building. All apprentices, and medcat apprentices, are asigned a mentor. Mentors are required to train their apprentices at least once, and aren't allowed more than one apprentice at a time. If a apprentice doesn't want a mentor they can consult the leader and everything will be settled:
/train huntingskill level with Sunstar (Skygaze)
>>/train huntingskill level with Skygaze (Sunstar)
Hunger is how full your cat is. If you don't eat enough food, you'll start off with -1 energy the next day, and eventually die in a few days. Hunting is essential for the clan, and kits always eat first, followed by elders, apprentices, medcat apprentices, warriors, deputies, and leaders:
/eat (Sunstar)
Hydration is the amount of water your cat is consuming. You'll need to drink whenever your cat becomes dehydrated, which can be used with a command (this requires no energy). If your cat doesn't consume enough water you can suffer from a heatstroke the next day and eventually die. Usually, you'll only need to drink lots of water during green-leaf. A command usually looks similar to this:
/drink water (Sunstar)
Thanks to Unitedwarriors for making this possible!
