Chapter 5- Clear Skies
Zim marched through the purple front door, entering his completely normal, totally not a base, human house.
"Welcome home son!" Two robots cheered in an eerie robotic tone, greeting him as he entered and closing the door behind him.
Zim stood proud. An evil infested smile sat on his face, now knowing that Y/N would be the perfect weapon against Dib. A weapon that came right to him.
He didn't even have to brainwash her.
"MASTER YOU COME HOME!
ITS BEEN SO LOOOONNNGG!" The small robot Gir cried, blasting himself off the large couch and landing on top of Zim's head. He Hugged it tightly and clung for dear life with his tiny metal paws. Zim violently and frustratedly flailed his arms, trying to get him off.
"Gah! GAH!
GIR! Get off of me this instant!"
Gir surprisingly complied and effortlessly hopped onto the floor.
"Awwww! Somebody's got their angry pants on." Gir said, but then was instantly distracted by the sound of the television and ran back to sit on the couch, stuffing his robot face with nachos.
Zim watched in disgust as the stringy cheese was messily spread all over Gir and the couch cushion.
Zim shook it off and tried to regain his train of thought.
"Right. How do I get Y/N to be my eugh...friend?" Zim thought aloud.
"WHAT DOES SHE REQUIRE?!"
He remembered back when he first went looking for a friend, and how much of a disaster it was. He recalled how annoyingly clingy and obsessive Keef was. How he never seemed to leave, how he tried to expose Zim's precious base to his friends. Just the thought sent shivers down Zim's spine.
But I have to do it! Zim thought,
I know that Dib is a much bigger threat. Though, not as big of a threat as me of course.
"Computer!" Zim demanded, dramatically pointing a finger to the ceiling.
"Whaaat?!" The house replied.
"What do stupid human females enjoy?"
"Looking up human female...
Uh, I don't know? give her a flower or something"
"What? Humans truly are stupid. What use could a dirt growth have? Eh, I'll just demand she become my friend tomorrow.
After all, who could resist the great ZIM!!"
"I COULD! I COULD!" Gir screamed excitedly.
"Shut up GIR!" Zim hastily yelled back.
(Your house, Your POV)
You had made it home and your body felt like lead. The heavy bag weighing on your back didn't make you feel any better. Your body was almost hunched in half and your arms weakly dangled from your sides. All you could think about was your soft bed and cozy blanket.
You sluggishly made your way into your house and locked the door behind you. Slowly pulling your arm out your bag strap, you let gravity do the rest and your backpack plopped onto the floor.
Because of your fatigue, you rushed your dinner, stumbled up into your room, picked out and put on your comfiest pajamas, and flopped into your bed.
You crawled up into the middle and burrowed yourself under the soft sheets. Your body releasing its tense energy, and your mind getting out its last few thoughts of the day.
I hope Dib doesn't pull anything tomorrow, You thought, for once a boring, non-eventful day at school would be really good.
With that, your mind slowly went blank, and you peacefully drifted away into a good night's sleep.

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP-
You woke up to your screeching alarm and got out your bed to get ready, letting out a long groan as you did.
You followed the same route to school, walking down the same dirty road, except this time you kicked a stone on the way.
You took the time to temporarily look up at the sky.
Well, at least the sky is clearer today, you thought.
You reached the entrance to the school. It seemed oddly empty today, not the typical crowds of drooling idiots.
You strolled up the steps and walked inside. However, you were stopped in your tracks to see a crowd of students in the hallway a few feet ahead, standing around something.
You cautiously approached the gawking children, not sure of what to expect.
You see, at this moment you were probably expecting a fight going on, a prank gone wrong, maybe just some little kid who ran too fast down the hallway and broke his leg. You know, something...normal.
But what you saw when you eventually pushed past the endless rows of stiff bodies. What your eyes captured when you emerged from the dead-eyed crowd,
shook your soul.
Your heart stopped.
Your breath weakened.
Your eyes grew as wide as saucers.
Before you stood Dib, Triumphantly holding up a confidently clenched fist. Within that fist was Zim's lifeless arm. Looking down you saw Zim's body was completely limp and dangled from his grasp, skin now pale.
All that was left of Zim
was a corpse.
"Y/N I DID IT! I KILLED THE ALIEN!
FOR YOU, FOR ALL OF MANKIND!"
Dib's face had an intensely crazed look on it, to the point where you couldn't even recognize him.
He then let out a tsunami of evil laughs which rang in your ears.
A loud boom of thunder echoed through the school's halls. The nice sunny sky grew dark and filled with rumbling clouds.
Dib's chuckles grew more loud and intense.
"HA HA HA HA HA HA!
HAAAAAA HA HA HA HA HA!
HAAAAAAAAAAAA HA HA HA!
HA HA HA HA HA-"
BOOOOOOOM!!
