This is a follow up to a fan fiction that was never finished. On Fanfiction.net called "heat" by Emo Fox.
Or maybe it was finished and i can't find it... I don't know....

Spoilers ahead. Go read that first to get this fanfic or if you don't want to i will give a summary...

So there is a cycle that go through like wild animals go through called "heat"
And all Irkens goes through it annually. Its a natural cycle that they try to get pregnant (even males)
As a desperate attempt to keep himself to avoid this phenomenon going any further than he wants it to, Zim locks himself in his lab (with Gir on the outside).
But Dib thinking he was up to another evil scheme gets locked in and there is no way in or out until the cycle is over (that takes place over a week)

Zim tells Dib that he shouldn't have done that and then tells him to stay away from him as far as possible.

But not long after Zim loses his mind due to the cycle and they have sex.
Which leads to Dib impregnating Zim.
(The babies in irkens grow faster than humans in the womb)
And pissed as shit afterwards. Zim hates Dib. Dib tries to help Zim, but Zim hits him and threatens to kill him if he finds him around again.

Dib disappears and Zim almost instantly regrets his decision.
And frantically tries to look for the blind boy (he broke the last lense of Dib's glasses by punching him in the face)

Okay now that's over with ... Let's begin!

Zim Called out for the Human.
"Dib?"
Echos only ended to the steel walls in the lab.
His cry outs weren't enough to reach him. Or maybe they were, but Dib was afraid to answer.

Time was almost up.
It was just twelve more hours until the barrier from the lab would open, Freeing it's inhabitants from it deep dark belly.

Twelve hours to find his mate again.

Hour 3....
Only nine hours...
On the verge of tears. Checking every nook and cranny.
He had never felt this feeling before
He wanted Dib...

"Dib!" He cried "i need you!"
Zim found himself in a dark corner of the lab.
"Please."
Tired and helpless.
He felt nauseous

Zim was on the verge of giving birth to the smeet.

He needed his mate.
He needed Dib.

To the end of the lab.
There was a place of nothingness.
He heard a small cry.

But before he could call out to it
His knees gave out and he felt the baby kick.

His muscles strained and he screamed.
Pain raced through his veins.

He pushed as hard as he could.
He felt the head start to come out.
Then the shoulders then waist.

Time skip....

Cries could be heard all throughout the lab.
Zim had finally given birth to a Smeet hybrid half Ikren half human.
Born a (boy/girl).

Later Dib found the two.
Ditching what threats Zim had made towards him.

He hesitantly came close and Zim ran closer to the boy woth the smeet in his arms.
Spouting utters of apologies and cries.

Dib tried to dismiss the irken and tried to tell him it wasn't his fault instead it was hin that got Zim pregnant.

Dib hugged Zim.
And showed the smeet.
Same hair as Dib, but with antennae.
Then with pale olive skin.
Similar dark eyes as Dib's too.

(Y/n) was (her/his) name.

"We made a cute one that's for sure." Dib chirped.
"Yes yes of course with the Genetics from the mighty ZiM they are bound to be as 'cute' as ME!"
Zim remarked making Dib to roll his eyes and smirk.
