Back at the Membrane household, Professor Membrane is in the basement in his lab, making a new experiment. He gets done with what he made and he says, "Yes! I've done it again. My new invention. Jetpacks for hamsters. Now, little fella. You'll be able to..."

His phone suddenly rings and he grabs it. He says, "Well, what do you know. It's a call from Bloaty's. He answers his phone and he says, "Hello. You're calling the one and only Professor Membrane.... What's that you say?... Wait. You mean... She's released? My wife?.... Thank you for calling me."

After that, he hangs up and says, "My god. After all of these years, my (Y/N) is finally out of prison. Oh, how I've missed her. I'm sure the kids are especially happy to see her. I'm heading upstairs. These hamster jetpacks can wait." He heads upstairs. The jetpack wearing hamster squeaks.

He gets upstairs and he heads into the kitchen. He says, "After so long, my wife is released. Oh, how I've waited for this day to come." He hears the front door opening and he hears Gaz yelling, "Dad! We're home!" Dib yells, "We have someone with us! You gotta see for yourself, dad!" Professor Membrane sighs and walks into the living room.

He sees Dib, Gaz and a grown woman resembling Gaz a bit, but much older. You. You look ahead and you gasp and put your hands over your mouth. There he is. Professor Hal Membrane. Your husband you haven't seen since the day you were arrested those years ago. Dib says, "Dad. I know what it looks like, but she's..." 

Membrane approaches you and he says, "(Y/N)... After all of these years." You put your hands down and you sigh and smile saying, "Hal." He takes your hand and you take his. He pulls you close into a hug and you hug him back. You say, "Oh, honey. I've missed you all so much." He says, "I've missed you as well, (Y/N)." 

You move away and he looks at you. He chuckles. You blush. He undoes the buttons on the collar of his lab coat covering his mouth and he pulls you in for a kiss. You kiss him back. Both Dib and Gaz look away. Gaz says, "Ugh." Dib mumbles, "I'm happy mom's back, but no kid wants to see their parents kissing in front of them." Gaz mumbles, "Right?" 

You pull away and you say, "It's been so long. I've been trying to find you guys since my release. My family. I felt something was similar with these two when I saw them at Bloaty's, earlier. I work there as a janitor. Not everyone wants to hire someone who has a criminal record." 

He says, "Luckily for you honey, we've got a daughter that loves pizza so much, she doesn't miss a day when a new pizza at Bloaty's is released." You say, "I won't let her miss a day there." Gaz smiles, knowing you've already got her back. Membrane looks at you and says, "You're still as beautiful as the day I've met you, (Y/N)." You sigh and you smile. You hug him. He holds you close.

You pull away after a few seconds, then you face your kids. You duck down and you look at Dib. You smile and you say, "Look at you. Such a handsome boy. You resemble your father so much, Dib." 

You put your hand on his face and you say, "I'm sure you've been there for Gaz, no matter what. Just like a good older brother should be like." Dib says, "Well. Heh. I did my best, I guess." You lean in and you kiss him on the cheek saying, "You two turned out just fine. And I've got your backs." Dib smiles.

You look at Gaz and you say, "You resemble me so much, Gazlene. If you have that tough, spitfire attitude to you, I won't be surprised. You get it from me." She says, "I do?" You nod and you say, "Yes. I was once like that, but had gotten soft over the years. As a mother, I know. Oh, I love you two so much and I missed you." You kiss her on the cheek.

You stand up and you say, "Did you both tell me that you still have your stuffed alien toy and your stuffed pig toy?" They both nod. You say, "I could see it that you two had an interest in those." Professor Membrane says, "Our son definitely has an interest in the paranormal. Aliens and ghost and all and not science." Dib looks away with a somewhat disappointed expression. You notice this. 

You look at Membrane and you say, "Hal... Have you been disapproving of Dib's interests?" Everyone looks at you. Membrane sighs and comes clean. He says, "I guess I've expected too much out of him. Him being my only son and expecting him to take after me as a scientist. He's highly intelligent and... he had another interest from mine." You sigh and you say, "I see." He says, "Honey. Please don't take it too hard?" Dib looks at you with worry.

You say, "Hal. No matter how long you've been interested in science, you did at one point have a slight interest in aliens, yourself. I mean, you do have a laboratory where you could experiment on a being. I love you honey, but you're being kind of hypocritical, disapproving of your son like this." 

He looks at you, realizing you had a point. Dib says, "Dad. Is this true?" You say, "Honey. Have a talk with him later. Please?" He says, "Alright. I will. But know this... I love both kids so much, no matter what." You say, "Thank you." Dib smiles, knowing you had his back as well.

He says, "It's good to have you back, (Y/N). Are you staying anywhere, currently?" You say, "I'm hopping from one hotel to another." He says, "You won't have to do that now, honey. You're home, now. Welcome back. I've missed you so much." You smile. The kids hug you and you hold them close. You say, "It's good to be home." 

You look at Membrane. He sighs and he says, "I only expect more out of Dib because I was bullied in school at one point for liking some of the paranormal stuff myself. He's being treated the same way and it hurts knowing that." 

You say, "Come again? Our son's being bullied in school?" He sighs and nods. You have that serious look on your face and the kids look at you with question. You say, "I'm going there myself, tomorrow." Gaz mumbles, "Ah, crap."

The next day, Dib is at school... or skool. (That's how it's spelled in the IZ world.) He's in the cafeteria right now, getting his lunch. He suddenly gets tripped and there's laughter. He ended up dropping his tray. He gets himself up.

He looks to see none other than his skool bully. Chunk. Chunk grins and says, "Hey, Membrane. Pick up your food, you slob." There's more laughter. Dib says, "What did you do that for, Chunk? I didn't do or say anything yet." 

Chunk grins and says, "Only the fact that you're a bigfoot obsessed loser." A popular girl with blonde hair and a blue shirt grins and says, "Even bigger freak than Zim, when I think about it." A friend of hers says, "I know, right?" Zim is sitting by himself and sees this. But he also sees a woman walking into the cafeteria and he says, "Eh? Who's this?" 

You happened to have showed up just now and heard all the commotion. You gasp as you see your son being pointed at and laughed at. You see a heavy-set boy with a red jacket throw mashed potatoes in your son's face and laughing. You growl and you yell, "Get away from my son, you little jerk!!" Everyone stops and gasps. 

They back away as they see you. Dib looks over. You rush to him and you duck down. You get your jacket off and you use it to wipe the food from his face. You say, "There you go, sweetheart." You stand up. You approach the bully and you squint your eyes at him, angrily. 

You say, "What is your name, young man?" He says, "Uh. Ch-Chunk, miss." You say, "You and the others are in serious trouble, young man. This boy you're bulling... is my son!" The other kids put their heads down in shame, realizing they've finally been caught... and someone did something about it, this time.

You look at Dib and you sigh and say, "Sweetie. Here's an extra lunch bag for you." You hand him a bag and he takes it saying, "Thanks, mom." You smile and you say, "Anytime. Go sit down and eat. I'll deal with all of this." 

You give him an extra lunch bag saying, "Give this one to your sister." He smiles at you and he walks off to sit down with Gaz. He hands her the second lunch bag and she takes it. She says, "Wow. Mom's really mad. Then again, she's defending us." 

You look at Chunk and the other kids and you say, "This is not over yet, you corrupt little brats. If I see this happen again towards my son or my daughter, you'll be in bigger trouble. Do you understand me?" They all nod. 

Chunk gulps and says, "Y-yes. Miss. M-Mrs. Membrane." You smile and you say, "Good..." Your smile fades and you sternly say, "You're lucky I'm getting a hold of the principal for this, this time. Next time this happens... I'm getting a hold of the police." 

They all gasp. Dib looks over and so does Gaz. Dib says, "The police?" The kids all plea and say, "No no no!" "We're sorry!" "Please don't?" And so on. You smile and you say, "Good... Have a good rest of the day." You approach the table your kids are sitting at. 

You sit down, across from them. Dib says, "Why the police?" Gaz says, "Yeah." You say, "Kids. Do you know how bad bullying can get? To the point where principals won't do shit about it. Pardon my French. But it's true. I may have been locked away, but I know how bad it can get. I've seen too many fights for the past eleven years I was locked up. I've been in a couple of them, myself. I just don't want anything horrible happening to you two. You understand?"  

Dib and Gaz nod. You smile and you say, "Just know that I love you two very much and I'll do anything for you. I've missed you and your dad." You get up and you say, "I'll pick you two up after skool's over." Gaz says, "Okay. We'll see you then, mom." Dib says, "We love you, too." You turn away and you walk off. 

Another boy in that cafeteria says, "Man, that woman's kind of scary. No lie." Zita says, "We better stay on her good side. I heard she's been in prison. There's no telling what she'll do if we mess with her kids again." They all agree to it. Gaz grins and says, "Yeah, Zita. You better do so." Zita looks at Gaz. 

Gaz looks away and eats her lunch. Zita looks away and eats hers, realizing that with Gaz's reputation, she may have gotten part of it from you. Zim chuckles and says, "Foolish human worms. So... the Dib worm's mom came back, huh? I may as well let myself be known to the human woman. After all... she is his and Gaz's mom." He chuckles. He sits there and tries to act normal as to not seem suspicious.
