Izayoi's POV 

So far this whole rescue mission thing wasn't going so well. Honestly, I thought someone was going to need  to rescue me. "You know Naraku, this doesn't seem very fair," I said. "You never said anything about me having to fight my parents." 

Naraku chuckled evilly. "What's wrong Izayoi? You're not afraid are you?" Naraku questioned. 

I growled in anger. Man what I wouldn't give for some back-up right now. I thought as I held Tensoga in my hands. Now what? If I try attacking, Naraku could just make Mama or Papa take the attack without a second thought. I looked over my shoulder at Tsuyo, who was still unconscious. Then there's Tsuyo. What do I about him? Naraku could go after him. 

As I was thinking, Papa charged right at my with Tessiga. I quickly jumped out of the way and went to grab Tsuyo. I placed him on my back and jumped to the top of one of the walls. "This is getting too dangerous," I whispered. "Where's back-up when you need it?" 

3rd Person's POV 

Ayuma and Kayuma were going toe-to-toe with their Mother in sword combat. Sango had already given them many scratches on their arms and legs and were bleeding. 

"Ayuma, what do we do?" Kayuma asked with breathlessness. "I don't know how much longer I can keep this up." 

"Just let me handle this Kayuma," Ayuma told her sister. "I can keep up with Mother." 

"I won't you fight alone though." 

Ayuma growled with frustration. "Mochigo, how's it going?" 

"Could be better." Mochigo shouted to his sister as he was fighting his Father. He had his staff in smashing against his Father's. Miroku, however, proved to be the stronger monk. Miroku was able to smack Mochigo's staff away, catching the young man off guard. Miroku then smacked Mochigo to the ground with his staff. 

"Shippo, go get help!" Ayuma called out as her blade clashed with Sango's. 

"What?! You guys are crazy! I won't leave you!" Shippo said. 

Suddenly, sacred arrows came from out of nowhere, sailing past Shippo and pinning Miroku and Sango to trees. Everyone looked to see that Arrosa had arrived, yet again, to save them. "Arrosa." they all said in shock. 

"Sorry I'm late," Arrosa told them. "But I had some business to take care of." 

Before anyone could respond, a gust of wind started, causing everyone to cover their eyes. When they looked again, they saw Kagura in the air with Miroku and Sango on the feather as the wind witch flew away. 

"I really hate that woman." Ayuma growled. 

"So do I," Arrosa spoke. "But at the same time, I pity her. It seems she will never get the freedom she wants. I know that she found it after her death but then Naraku brings her back to suffer. That is the kind of vile beast that Naraku is." 

"Arrosa, how'd you know we were in trouble?" Kayuma asked. 

"I sensed you were in trouble," Arrosa answered. That's when the young priestess got on top of Kilala. It surprised the others that the giant cat didn't get angry about the young girl getting on top. "Now let's hurry, Naraku has something horrible in store for Izayoi. I fear it's a fate worst than death." 

Izayoi's POV 

I was thrown back into the wall for like the 5th time. When I slid to the ground, I began to cough up some blood. I was breathing heavily, trying to catch my breath. "S-s-stop." I choked out. 

Papa had been attacking me as if I were his true enemy. But he had broke free before, why not now?

"It's hopeless Izayoi," Naraku said. "Inuyasha is no longer your Father. He is your enemy and he will not hesitate to kill you." I growled with rage. "What will you do now? Will you let him kill you? Or will you actually fight to stay alive, killing Inuyasha in the process? And there's still the matter of Kagome." 

I growled again. There was no way I was going to play Naraku's sick game. "What do you want from me?" I asked with rage. "What is that you want from me you sick freak?!" 

That's when Papa's hand came and held my by my throat, causing the air to be cut short from my body. I tried to pry his hand from my throat but was too weak. 

Naraku then came from his castle and towards me. "I want to make you suffer," Naraku told me. "It's because of your own parents that I lost the sacred jewel. Making you suffer is just part of my revenge." 

Just when it seemed like hope was lost for me, someone actually came by and knocked Naraku to the ground.  I looked to see Tsuyo was up from the ground. "Tsuyo." I managed to choke out. 

"Naraku, you'll pay for what you've done to Iziyaoi!" Tsuyo growled. 

Naraku got himself from off of the ground but smirked at Tsuyo, meaning trouble. I then saw that Mama was aiming a sacred arrow right at Tsuyo. Thinking quickly, I gave Papa a quick kick to the stomach, causing him to let go of my throat and I ran towards Tsuyo. 

"Tsuyo move!" I shouted. 

I quickly pushed Tsuyo out of the path of the arrow and felt the small arrow impale into my side. 

3rd Person's POV 

Tsuyo watched in shock as Izayoi took the sacred arrow for him. She fell to the ground in front of him in what seemed like slow motion. 

"Izayoi!" Tsuyo said as he made his way over to Izayoi. He placed her head in his lap and looked at her face that was twisted in pain. 

"Tsuyo, it hurts." Iziyaoi told him. 

"Just hold on Izayoi, I'll take the arrow." Tsuyo tried to take the arrow out from Izayoi's side but he was shocked by purification powers. 

"You cannot take the arrow out Tsuyo," Naraku spoke. "Only a human has the power to do that. And since you are a demon, you cannot save her. Izayoi will die by the hands of her own Mother." 

Tsuyo growled. What do I do? Tsuyo thought. 

"T-T-Tsuyo," Iziyaoi stuttered. "I'm....I'm not going to make it." 

"Don't say that Izayoi," Tsuyo told her. "You'll be fine just hang in there." 

Izayoi smiled a painful smile at Tsuyo. She reached her hand up to Tsuyo's face and held it to his cheek. "It's okay Tsuyo......I just, need you to do me a favor; when Mama....gets free from Naraku's control, tell her, that I'm not angry with her.....I know it wasn't....her fault." 

"Don't talk like that Izayoi, you'll be fine." 

Izayoi shook her head. With that, she closed her eyes.
