Before you start this chapter I just want to personally apologize for not updating in so long! It is entirely my fault, because i'm a super lazy person and am really good at procrastinating, and it's such a pain in the ass, honestly i'm just as mad as you guys are. I'm so so so sorry that it's taken me this long to update Onaji's story, but I've finally done it! Thank you guys so much for being so patient <3 and I hope you enjoy the chapter

"Let's go, let's go, let's go~!" I shout enthusiastically as I run between Kisumi's legs. We were going to the Hitachiin Beach Villa for my birthday, and I had to stay behind because the Host Club wanted to surprise me with something, so Kisumi stayed with. But now~ it was time to go.

I run through the woods, basically making Kisumi transform and chase after me to keep up. Plowing through the hedge, I see the limousine parked up front. Giving a bark of excitement I do a little doggy dance and Kisumi jogs up, carrying our bags. I dive into the limo as Kis talks with Kyoya. I think I overheard the hosts saying earlier that Kyoya's gonna stay behind. I was fine with it, sense his persona kinda scared me.

Finally we start driving, and I instantly complain how long the drive is. Turns out, the drive is almost 8 hours! By the time we get there it's already 3pm, and I was antsy and unable to sit still. Darting out of the car, still in my wolf form I run to the beach villa, where the hosts were standing outside waiting for us. Just before I get to them, I transform and jump into Hikaru's arms, laughing. 

"I can't believe you made me wait so long! This surprise better be worth it."

"Of course it will be my flower~" Tamaki coos as Hikaru sets me back down.

I head to the front door, a pep to my step but Mori stops me. "Nani?" I question, looking up at him.

"We have your surprise to take you to first, silly~" Huni giggles, grabbing my hand and pulling me away from the door. Smiling, I follow him with my tails wagging. 

"Where are we going~?" I ask excitedly, walking with all of the hosts.

"You'll see."

"Be patient." Hikaru and Kaoru say, giving me identical grins.

I pout, but that just makes Tamaki hug me and twirl me around. "You'll love it Onaji! I thought of it myself~" He says proudly.

"Kis do you know what it is?" 

"I have an idea." He smiles at me, ruffling my hair. Sighing, I walk with them into town, questioning them the whole way. 

"Alright Ona-Senpai, we're here." Haruhi says, stopping me from continuing walking down the street. I look at the building we stopped at to see a beauty salon.

"We're getting pedicures~" The twins sing, putting their arms around my shoulders.

"Pedicures? Isn't that where they paint your toes?" I question, looking down at my feet and wiggling my toes.

"Yup~ Let's go!" Huni smiles widely, pushing all of us into the salon. Obviously, they must've called ahead because there were eight empty chairs for all of us to sit in and the workers were all ready.

"I'll just sit back and watch." Kisumi takes a step back, but the twins grab his hands.

"We must get the full commoner experience out of it men! So we're all getting pedicures~" Tamaki announces dramatically, gracefully sitting in a salon chair. I squeeze in next to Haruhi, Hikaru sitting on my other side.

After many color options and boys complaining later, we all walk out of the salon with our nails painted in various shades of pinks, reds, and blues. Hikaru, Kaoru, and I all got midnight blue nails, and we're making fun of Kisumi for choosing blood red. 

"That's such a girly color." The twins and I laugh while Kisumi glares playfully.

"D-do you think pink is a girly color Ji-Chan?" Huni asks tearfully, looking down at his pale pink painted toes.

"Of course not, you look fantabulous Huni-Senpai~" I smile and hug him.

"Hey boss, we'll race you back to the villa~" The twins taunt and then start running.

"Hey no fair you rotten devils, you got a head start!" Tamaki shouts after them, sprinting ahead.

"Last one to the house loses~" Kisumi laughs, running too. So it turns into a race, all eight of us end up sprinting back to the house. Mori ends up winning, with Haruhi in last place. 

"We've still got one more surprise for you my flower~" Tamaki swoons, twirling me, already recovered from his run.

"The pedicure was enough you guys really." I smile at them.

"Well it's a little late for that." Haruhi smiles, her face red and blotchy from running. 

"Go inside." Mori says, pressing on the small of my back. I give them curious looks as I walk inside. Walking into the foyer, i'm greeted with a lot of cheers. My eyes widen as I look around, seeing over twenty Inugamis in front of me, with Niko and my dad in center front.

"Onaji, do you recognize these people?" Father asks, stepping out of the group and coming over to me. 

"They're all of the people who were at the lab, Ona." Niko says softly, and realization hits me, along with a sharp pain in my temple.

"Ow!" I quickly recover, "Oh my gosh, you're kidding!" I look around at everyone, looking behind me at the hosts, who were all smiling.

"If it weren't for you, we'd all probably still be there.." An older woman says from the group, and the others murmur in agreement.

"Please, it was thanks to my boyfriend, Hikaru, and best friend, Kisumi." I say gladly, smiling at the two. A lot of people remembered Kisumi, and we all ended up having a little reunion party. I can't believe the hosts would do something like this for me.

Never being around so many Inugamis at once, I get overwhelmed with excitement, joyously jumping around the others and talking with everyone. Apparently, father knew a few of them before he was even captured, he told me that he knew them when we still lived in Karuizawa.

"Why, I remember when you were just a small little wolf cub." The lady laughs, ruffling my hair. "Junkio and you would always walk into Misuzu's Pension to get tea, and you'd be wearing the cutest little hat to cover your ears." I smile bashfully, looking at father who was smiling fondly at memories. 

"Father, how many of us are left?" I ask after a while and he looks down at me.

"Not many i'm afraid.." He sighs, putting an arm around my shoulders. "I'd say there's only about five hundred of us left in Japan. I know some of us have been getting out of the country but i'm not sure how far they've gotten."

I frown slightly, about to say something when someone jumps on my back. "M'lady~!"

"N-niko?!" I stumble forward, somehow holding him up. "Wh-what're you doing?" I laugh.

"A lot of the Inus wanna go swimming~ Go tell your boyfriend that we want to go down to the beach." Niko clings to me, his arms around my neck.

"We don't have to ask to go down to the water, just go." 

"Come with us then!" Niko demands, urging me to go to the door.

"Okay okay, I will!" I spot Hikaru through the people and motion to him that we were going down to the water. Surprisingly, everyone followed us out. A lot of people just went in with their clothes on, and Niko hopped off my back, pulling me towards the water. "Let me change first at least." I say, pulling away from a pouting Niko.

"I think you're just fine~" Two identical voices chime, scooping me off the ground and heading for the water. Squealing and squirming, I'm thrown into the water against my will. Standing up and glaring at the boys, they just laugh and dive in themselves.

In the end, all of the Inugamis, the hosts, and I all play in the water like five year olds. A lot of the Inus didn't leave until well past midnight. Father did end up leaving too, and taking Niko with him, he said that he wanted me to spend time with my friends, and that he wanted to speak with Kyoya. Once the last one left I turned to the hosts, a huge smile on my face. "You guys are the best~" I tear up, getting a group hug from all of them.

The nine of us slept on the beach under the stars, falling to sleep to the sound of the waves gently lapping the beach.

We stayed the week at the Hitachiin beach villa. It consisted of a lot of shopping, swimming, joking, chasing, fireworks, and lots of other things that will last in my memory forever. There were a few times when some memories came back to me, which were quite painful, but I dealt with it and continued with my fun birthday treat~

"Is it possible for all nine of us to fit in one limo?" I ask as everyone packs up their things. "I wanna ride with all of you."

"Typically limos are supposed to hold only six to eight people," Hikaru says.

"But we should be able to make it work~" Kaoru finishes, smiling at me. I smile back, skipping outside. 

"We can always call a second one to carry all of our stuff, right?" Haruhi asks as she walks outside, rolling her suitcase behind her. I see Mori nod as Tamaki tells her what a wonderful idea it is. Giggling at the two, I go over and help Kisumi with our bags. 

"Did you have a good time River?" He asks me quietly, and I nod happily.

"It was the best, I'm so thankful for all of you guys." I say honestly, and Tamaki hugs me. Not a fangirl, squealing, twirl me around hug, but a gentle.. normal person hug.

"You're still missing one person though, aren't you." He says quietly, so the others don't hear.

"Who? You mean Kyoya?" I ask softly, looking up at him with a small frown. "He's scary.. and I still don't remember him."

Tamaki smiles slightly, kissing my forehead. "You'll remember soon enough, c'mon we should get you home~" He lets go of me and then goes back into King mode, ordering the twins around to load everything.

Shockingly, all of us did end up fitting in the limo. Huni sat on Mori's lap while Kisumi transformed and laid on the floor. I was sandwiched between Hikaru and Tamaki. I ended up falling asleep on the ride, my head resting against Hikaru's shoulder.

When I wake up, we were dropping Haruhi off at her place.

"Happy birthday Ona-Senpai." Haruhi smiles at me, stepping out of the limo.

"Thanks Haruhi, wait, let me give you a hug." I get up, shimmying my way out of the car to embrace her. "I'll see you tomorrow in school."

Next, we drop off Huni, and then Mori, both of them saying similar things. Finally we drop Tamaki off, and he gives a flamboyant exit, squeezing me half to death before leaving. The twins then take Kis and I home. When the limo comes to a stop I hug each redhead tightly, Hikaru's hug being longer than Kaoru's.

"You two are the best. Thank you for bringing me to your beach villa."

"It was no problem~" They says together, smiling at me.

"Kyoya helped us get everything set up." Hikaru informs,

"He actually contacted all of the other Inugamis and had them escorted to our villa. So you should really be thanking him." Kaoru says, tapping my forehead as I blush faintly.

"O-okay. Well, I guess i'll see you two tomorrow then." I kiss both of their cheeks and then step out of the car with Kisumi. Grabbing our bags, him and I start walking back to the den in the woods. About half way home I stop, looking back. 

"Go thank him." Kisumi laughs quietly, taking my bag and continuing walking.

Sighign softly, I walk back the way we came, going to the hedge. Moving to walk through the hedge, I hear his voice.

"You just dropped her off? She didn't come inside. Yes I know, but I thought you told her- okay, alright. Goodbye." Kyoya's voice says in a defeated tone. He must've been talking on the phone. Being the curious one I am, I stick my head through the hedge just enough to see him. He sat down on a stone bench in the garden. His fists were clenched and it looked like his grey eyes were glassy with tears. "Looks like Hikaru and Kisumi are way ahead of me.." He mutters quietly to himself, "She only likes them..." I watch with a frown as a few tears spill over, down his cheeks. "I'll only ever be a memory to her.. not even."

After a small moment, Kyoya removes his glasses and wipes his tears away, laughing lightly. "What'm I doing, an Ootori doesn't cry. I just have to accept the fact that I'm not a part of her life anymore. I'll try my best not to meddle into her life and cause more issues. Though I do believe i'm never going to get over her." He sighs heavily, standing up. He looks over at the hedge, luckily I was still out of sight to him. "I love you Onaji."

At these words an excruciating pain fills my head and my vision goes blurry. I whimper in pain, stumbling out of the hedge while gasping Kyoya's name.
