APPEARANCE
Arthur has dirty blond hair that fairly glows golden in the sunlight. He has steady blue eyes that make people feel safe and comfortable around him. He has pale skin stretched tightly over bulging muscles. He stands at a height of 6'4" and weighs 175 pounds.
PERSONALITY
Loyal - If someone is Arthur's friend or someone he cares about, they will have his complete loyalty. He will always stand by them, through every hardship and struggle, no matter what. The thought of going against one of his friends or loved one, or betraying their secrets has never even crossed his mind.
Humble - Part of what makes Arthur such a good king is that he doesn't let his status define him. He might have a title, but he doesn't treat anyone, even the servants, badly or different than he would want to be treated. He had no qualms about being just another guy in the crowd, but standing out in any way.
Headstrong - When Arthur wants something, or believed that it is the right thing, he won't back down easily. He will fight for it until he gets it, not liking the thought of giving in or giving up. Once his mind is set on something, it is almost impossible to change it.
Passionate - Whatever Arthur does, he does it with a passion, whether it's ruling Camelot and making sure it's safe, or having a friendly debate with his friends. He throws his whole self into it, heart and soul, and it's apparent by the results.
Selfless - Whatever Arthur does, he does first for his kingdom and people, and then for himself. Camelot means everything to him and he doesn't let any of own needs or wants get in the way of the greater good. He always makes sure his citizens have what they need before himself.
LIKES
Excalibur - Arthur's most treasured possession is the beautiful sword that he pulled out of the rock, thus beginning his rule over Camelot. It is always with him, sheathed at his side, and is always his preferred weapon. He takes good care of it, sharpening and polishing it often.
Merlin - Merlin is Arthur's closest and most beloved friend and confidante. Ever since they were going teens, the boys have been together, first causing mischief wherever they could, and then moving on to supporting each other through hardships. It was a no brainer to appoint Merlin as the head wizard of Camelot.
Sparring - Whenever he has free time, which is quite rare, Arthur can be found in the training arena with his knights, sparring. He needs to make sure that he keeps on tip top shape, but he also does it because he enjoys it so much.
The knights of the Round Table - The most skilled and trusted men are made knights of the Round Table. They are all honorable and extremely loyal to Arthur, and he to them. They are like his brothers, and he loves them all dearly.
Camelot - Besides for Camelot being the place where he grew up, it's also his kingdom now, his responsibility. Many happy memories fill up the streets and shops of Camelot, and because he put so much effort and love into making it a safe and beautiful place, his love for it has grown.
DISLIKES
Mordred - It is very uncommon for Arthur not to like someone, but his nephew is an exception. When his father married Mordred's mother, the two boys gave one look at each other and that was enough to know they each hated the other. Mordred is lazy in his eyes, and never does anything but make things difficult for him, as well as constantly teases him.
Dishonorable people - People who do things that being shame and dishonor onto them or others are deplorable in Arthur's eyes. Honor is very important to him, and if someone ruins theirs or someone else's, the king wants nothing to do with him.
Threats - Arthur abhors any type of threat against Camelot or its inhabitants. He will track it down and make sure that it will never continue to threaten or cause trouble for his home again. He has a strong army to protect Camelot against any big dangers, and he himself takes care of the small ones.
Liars - Arthur stays far away from people who are dishonest and spin a web of lies for whatever reason. Even if it's to protect others, or they think it's for the good, he would much rather people say what they really mean, instead of deceiving others and making them believe things that aren't true.
FEARS
Becoming like his father - His father, to put it lightly, was not a good king. He was very into violence and ruled with an iron fist. Although he is nothing like him, Arthur is scared that one day he will find that he turned into his father and started following his ways.
Drowning - Ever since witnessing his mother's death by drowning, Arthur has had the dead that that too was how he would meet his end. It has taken a long time until he wasn't scared of water anymore, but the fear of drowning is still as strong as ever.
HABITS
Rubbing his temples - Whenever Arthur gets stressed or overworked, which happens quite often due to the amount of responsibilities he has and takes on himself, he rubs his temples. It usually means he has a headache, which he often gets when stressed, but even if he doesn't, it has just become habit.

Igraine Pendragon, mother - Deceased
Morgause, stepmother - Deceased
Mordred, nephew - Alive
HISTORY
When Arthur was three years old, his mother's the queen of Camelot, died in a tragic drowning accident. For the next three years, he had been raised by a governess who loved and cared for him as a mother would. But then when he was six, Uther, his father, married his mother's older sister, Morgause. She had a son, Mordred, who was one year older than Arthur, which meant that Mordred was his nephew. From the first moment they saw each other, a deep hatred formed between them and they never ever got along. As more and more years passed since Igraine's passing, Uther was becoming more and more like a tyrant. He was drunk most of the time and ruled with an iron fist. Arthur couldn't recognize the father of his childhood. Camelot was failing under Uther and Arthur was miserable, not knowing how to stop it. He was just a boy of 11, but he felt like it was his duty to fix things. It was then that there was a war, and his father went out to fight it. Fortunately or unfortunately, he was drunk and was killed pretty easily. A few days later, Morgause died of a broken heart, leaving him truly an orphan and the King of Camelot. It was then that he met Merlin, who found him taking out all of his anger on a brick wall, and healed his broken fingers and numerous other bruises with his magic. Being that the young wizard was the first one to show Arthur any real kindness, he confided in him, and that was the beginning of an everlasting friendship. A few months later was when Arthur pulled Excalibur out of the stone, relieving his doubts and giving him all the proof he needed that he really was supposed to be king. He threw himself into making Camelot into what it once was, beautiful and fruitful, echoing with the laughs and shining with the smiles of its inhabitants. The kingdom flourished under Arthur's care and soon became the most peaceful and happiest place to live. Now that he turned 21, an old advisor who had been in the employ of Uther, handed the King a letter, written by his father years before to be given to him on his 21st birthday, just in case he was no longer around. It said that he, Uther, had made an agreement with the king in the South to have their children marry each other. His betrothed's name was Guinevere, but that was all the information Uther had given him. Acting on this right away, he sent for Guinevere and planned for his wedding to be in a few months time, even though he had just found out about it all. He wasn't getting any younger and he was expected to produce heirs. If he didn't, and he died before Mordred, his nephew would take over, and Camelot would be doomed.
