The blond boy was running towards the forest, but that's not what shocked me, it was his arm, his jumper's sleeve, it was red, it looked like-

"Luke! Luke, what are you doing here? What happened?" I said when I got him

He turned to me, looked at me with bloodshot eyes, and hugged me tight "I'm so sorry Ash, I tried, I swear, but the voices wouldn't leave me alone and-"

"Hey Luke, it's okay now, I'm here, I won't leave you again"

We walked to the cave and stayed there until midnight "Ash" Luke said, he sounded really tired "can we stay here tonight? I don't want to leave"

"Of course" I said before cuddling him and falling asleep

"Ashton" I heard Luke say "Ash"

"What's wrong babe?" He looked worried

"The voices are back" he said starting to tear up

"Listen to me, they're lying, you are perfect and I love you so damn much" did I really say that? I said that I loved him for the first time in three years

"Did you just say that you love me?" Luke said, he looked as shocked as me, I nodded "do you mean it?"
