(Izukus backstory part 13)

And with that the greenette walked to his room

Izuku had packed a bag with everything he would need to go off the grid
A burner phone
12,000 in cash from his savings
A solid months worth of black clothing
His ID
Every picture of him in the house so the police would have a harder time tracking him
(except the one he let his mother keep in her wallet)
And the promise rings he bought for him and Shoto...

By the time he was done packing it was 11:59 so he waited...
Counting down the seconds until the old izuku died
There was no more izuku Midoriya..
There was only 'deku...

And with his new identity's birth he jumped out the window leaving only a note as an indication he ever existed...

Inkos POV;

I awoke to a loud thump from outside
'Hm? I thought izuku went to bed'

I decided to go check his room just in case he got hurt or needs help

When I opened the door the window was wide open and izuku was nowhere to be found...

No.....
I ran over to his desk where his hero analysis's used to be only to find a note

Yesterday while I was giving my speech I realized something..
I'm not destined to be a hero to the public
In fact people would probably think of me as the exact opposite of a hero
Because of this I've decided it's time for me to go..

Inko fell to her knees sobbing clutching the letter close to her chest
Her baby was gone
With the way he worded the note she assumed he was going to kill himself
And that shattered her

~Rei Todorokis hospital room~

Rei Todoroki awoke to tapping on the window to her hospital room
When she went to open it she saw nothing but a note
A note with her sons beautiful handwriting on the front

She hesitantly opens the letter and prays it's nothing bad...

My destiny runs in the opposite of that path and I know 'father' would hate the fact I'm leaving
And that thought honestly makes me want to do this more

~the Todoroki household: endeavours personal study~

Enji Todoroki has just gotten home from the hospital and was heading to his study when he saw a note taped to the front door of his house

It was addressed to him and by the looks of the handwriting it was from Shoto..

After the three parents read their notes they were all feeling different things

Inko was sad and terrified to think that her son might've ended his own life and needed the comfort of knowing he was at least still breathing

Rei was sad but knew if this really was a suicide note that she would honour her sons last wishes and help Inko through this, as she was also suffering

And finally enji
The pro hero and worlds best father endeavour
He was furious
Not even sad.. he was angry that his masterpiece decided to up and 'end' his life right after becoming a pro

Three different emotions

~meanwhile with todo and izuku~

They decided to meet up at the bridge where they had there first date

It was a beautiful bridge but sadly it was famous for suicides and suicide attempts
This was the bridge where Todorokis brother touya jumped off and 'died'-

(A/N: hehehe yeah.. 'died')

-and it was also where according to bakugo, kirishima had attempted suicide

But izuku and Shoto always thought it was beautiful and peaceful,
Every Saturday they came and scattered touyas favorite flowers along the bridge

Todoroki was so deep in thought he didn't notice his lover approaching him

"Sho?"

He turned around and saw izuku dressed head to toe in black with a bag slung over his shoulder
But that wasn't all
In his hand was a bouquet of touyas favorite flower...

Dark red roses

"You remembered.."
The dule haired boy whispered

"Of course I did sho.. I've only ever heard stories and seen pictures of him but if you loved him them I loved him"

For that one moment it felt as if they were really just two teenagers hopelessly in love mourning the loss of a loved one under the moonlight

They weren't slowly losing there mind

They weren't sneaking away to fulfil there villainous urges to be feared

They weren't faking a suicide note so nobody would come after them

They were just.. them

They were just two teenagers
In love and together

"I wanted to do this one last time before we leave.."

Todoroki smiled and took izukus free hand in his,
He looked into his eyes and said
"Thank you.."

Together they crushed the roses and scattered the petals along the bridge and in the water below

"Shoto.. Before we go our separate-ways I want to give you something"

Todoroki nodded and watched the greenette pull out two small black boxes

"I-i got us promise rings"

"Oh izu.. thank you"

Todoroki took one of the boxes out of his lovers hand and opened it to reveal a red diamond ring with the words
'wasure nai de'
(A/N: i think it means never forget in Japanese)
Engraved on the side
"That ones mine" izuku said smiling at his boyfriends star stuck face
Todoroki took izukus hand and placed the ring on his ring finger
Then izuku opened the other box to reveal the same ring but with a dark green diamond instead of red
It had the same words and he noticed it also had the same small button on the side of it, it was hidden on the inside of the ring so if you were to curl your fingers into a fist and squeeze it would be pushed

"What does this do?" He asked as izuku slipped the ring onto shotos finger

"Well I had it custom made so if you squeeze your fingers into a fist the diamond would move to the side and a small blade would come out of it.. it's for combat and self defence, to retract the blade you just push the diamond back over and it's like it was never there"

"Smart.. I love it thank you doll"

Izuku giggled at the nickname and hugged his lover

"So what's the promise the rings represent?"

Izuku smiled into his shoulder and whispered into his lovers ear

"That we promise we'll become strong, build an empire, make people bow to us and then one day.. we'll find a way back to each-other and dominate together~"

"I like it~"
Shoto agreed

"We'll find away back to each other and wen we do... we'll join forces, we'll be the most feared villain duo.... I'm getting so exited just thinking about it~" izuku purred

"I love you izuku"

"I love you too sho"

"Until we meet again?" Izuku asked pulling away

"Yes, until we meet again"

"Goodbye sho.."

"Goodbye izuku..."

And with that they shared a final kiss and turned to go there separate ways
With tears in there eyes they walked off ready to start an empire and fulfil that promise
