Yibo rubbed his chin thoughtfully and wondered how he should deal with this completely unplanned situation now? As recently as Thursday afternoon, everything had been fine. Yibo's brother Haikuan came to Keno Academy to visit Yibo and he introduced him to Cheng. The three of them went downtown shopping together, since Haikuan had received a generous bonus at work and wanted to buy Yibo something nice from it as well.

So they went downtown, visited several stores and even went out for ice cream together. Haikuan and Cheng really got along very well, and in the evening when Haikuan brought them back to the Keno Academy, Haikuan talked to Cheng all by himself for over an hour. Cheng proudly told afterwards that Haikuan had asked him out on a date. So that went even better than Yibo had hoped.

After all, Yibo didn't even know what his brother was into and whether he hadn't perhaps given Cheng false hope. But things were looking good for the two of them and Haikuan even wrote to Yibo later that he thought Cheng was really cute and hoped that Yibo wouldn't mind if he asked Cheng out on a date.

Of course, Yibo first acted as if he was surprised and had nothing at all to do with the two of them getting to know each other and that it was all just a pure coincidence. So he didn't write, oh that's great and I'm happy. But asked him, since when he likes men? His brother wrote him that he probably always knew, but never let on anything because of their parents. And he admonished Yibo not to tell their parents.

"I won't say anything. Promise big brother. But in return, you have to keep it to yourself that I like men too." Had said Yibo after calling his brother to talk to him properly. Besides, he was too tired to write.

"That's what I thought little brother." His brother replied with a laugh. When asked why he thought that, his brother couldn't really explain it to him. He just said it was a feeling he had about Yibo for a long time. The two then talked about Cheng for quite a while and Yibo also told him about Zhan and his desire to get closer to him.

"You should just stay natural Yibo. You are good the way you are. Believe me, if he's into men too, he'll realize what a great guy you are." Said his brother.

"I'm not sure if that's how it works. I've made some observations here and somehow no one here acts normal when it comes to wooing any woman or any guy. They're all so hyper and pretending." Replied Yibo.

"And what do you think happens when they succeed at it and then the other person quickly realizes it was all for show? That they were pretending to get closer to that person?"

"Mhhh, the point goes to you big brother."

"See. Just be yourself Yibo. Don't put too much pressure on yourself. And if it doesn't work out this time, you'll get another chance 8 weeks later."

"Yes, you are right. True, I wish it would work out right away. But if not, then another chance will come. I will keep that in mind." Said Yibo. With the night's rest approaching, he had to say goodbye to his brother. He finished his phone call, lay down on his bed and wondered where Seungyoun had gone.

Ever since Seungyoun, along with Wooseok and a few others, had spent the past weekend in the city, he had been somehow different. According to Seungyoun, nothing went as he had planned and Wooseok had even gone to the movies and dinner with another guy. Afterwards, the two were said to have held each other in their arms for a long time outside the boarding house when they returned. Seungyoun was very frustrated by this and has not spoken a word to Wooseok since.

Yibo assumed that Youn withdrew now and then to be alone. He had also heard him crying twice at night in the past week. He felt sorry for Seungyoun, but he did not know how to help his friend. Well, apart from listening to him and being there for him.

What surprised Yibo was that Seungyoun was not getting anywhere with Wooseok. Things were still looking good when the two of them left for the city with the others. Wooseok seemed to have finally seen more in Seungyoun than a friend. He even said that he wanted to go to the movies with Seungyoun and that he would be happy if they shared a room at the guesthouse. And then everything went so wrong. 

A few minutes after the night's rest had begun, Seungyoun finally came into the room. He had obviously been showering, because his hair was still quite wet. But Yibo saw that he probably hadn't just showered, because Youn's eyes were also all red and puffy. "Hey Youn?" Yibo asked softly.

"Mn?"

"Are you going to be okay soon?"

"Sure."

"You know if you want to talk, I'm here for you."

"I know. Thanks."

"Youn, I don't want you to be sad. If you want, I'll ask Wooseok for you why he did that."

"What?"

"Well, that's what you want to know, isn't it?"

"Yes, I do."

"Then I'll just ask him. Maybe..."

"Yibo, do you really think he'll tell you?"

"Why not? I think he likes you too. He had been looking around every night now when he came to the community center. Maybe he was looking for you. And he was always looking at you at the training, too."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"But, then why doesn't he approach me?"

"Because you're avoiding him."

"Yeah, because I'd be embarrassed if I asked why he'd gone out with that other guy instead of me like he'd planned."

"Then I'll ask him."

"Are you sure you want to do that?"

"Sure. Why not? Or do you mind?"

"Not really. I want to know, after all."

"Then I'll ask him tomorrow okay?"

"Okay." Said Seungyoun. He was so happy about Yibo's offer that he hugged Yibo and thanked him several times.

On Friday morning, Yibo had only had to wait for the big break. He knew that everyone would focus on the battles against each other again. So this was the best moment for him to take Wooseok aside and talk to him undisturbed. He didn't like to interfere in the affairs of others, but this was about Seungyoun and he was very curious himself.

So he asked Wooseok for a private conversation and Wooseok immediately agreed. And before Yibo could even begin to explain why he wanted to talk to him, Wooseok said, "It's good that we talk. I wanted to ask you anyway, what's going on with Youn? He's been acting so strange and not talking to me anymore. He's avoiding me and I don't know why."

"That's exactly what I wanted to talk to you about. Do you really not know?" Yibo replied in amazement. He hadn't thought it would be that easy.

"No."

"Well, that's because of last weekend when you were in the city together. You and Youn, well you had plans didn't you?"

"Yeah, we had. But..."

"But then you went to the movies and dinner with someone else instead, and you hugged for a long time outside the boarding house, which Youn saw. I don't understand that. I mean, you and Youn had plans and then you dump him and do something like that even though you know he likes you?"

"That well, how should I say? He took that the wrong way."

"How could he have taken that the wrong way?"

"Because the guy isn't just any guy, he's my brother. I didn't know he was in town too and even in the same boarding house until I saw him. He invited me to the movies and to dinner and I said yes. I was so happy to see him because the last time I saw him was two years ago and I know it was stupid of me not to tell Youn. But I was just so happy to see my brother that I completely forgot about Youn. And when I tried to explain it to Youn the next day, he wouldn't talk to me."

"So it wasn't a date?"

"Hahaha, no. But I admit, it was pretty careless of me. I shouldn't have forgotten that I had a date with Youn. Especially since it was my suggestion."

"But why didn't you share the room with him either? Isn't that what you wanted? I mean, then you could have corrected it that same night."

"I had no control over that. The supervisors from our academy who accompanied us booked the rooms. We couldn't have chosen it. We didn't even know beforehand that the supervisors would come along and stay. Especially because we're all at least 18 years old."

"How you guys didn't know that? That's what the supervisors told us on the first day, right? Or actually it was the second day. Anyway, they said that the first-year students are accompanied and supervised when they go to the city and stay there overnight. Since a lot of them come from abroad and need help."

"Really? I guess I missed that."

"Apparently, it's not just you."

"Mhhh. Tell me Yibo. Can you help me with Youn? Can you tell him what really happened? I want to reconcile with him again. And in return, I would help you too."

"So I approached you to help Youn, and I'll be happy to tell him what really happened. But what do you want to help me with?"

"Well, about Alessia."

"What about her?"

"You like her, don't you? I can help you get closer to her. Besides, I think she likes you too."

"Wowowowo... wait a minute Wooseok. You're completely wrong with your assumption. I'm not into Alessia. I don't even like her. In fact, I'll be happy if she leaves me alone."

"Mhhh, who do you fancy then? Maya? Cindy?"

"None of them and none of the other women either. I have someone I like, but I keep that to myself. And no, that person is not a student here."

"Okay."

"Good, then I'll go find Youn now and talk to him. After that, I'm sure he'll talk to you again."

"Thank you."

"Mn. But if you meet your brother again Spontaneously, don't forget Youn again."

"Promise." Replied Wooseok.

Yibo went to find Seungyoun and when he found him, he took him aside and told him the news. Youn was not only relieved, but reacted exactly as Yibo had already guessed. He immediately ran to find Wooseok so he could talk to him and reconcile. Meanwhile, Yibo took part in the battle again. He won this time as well.

Later, when Yibo wanted to return to the dormitory, he was surprised to see an ambulance parked in front of the community center. Curious like many others, he went there to see what had happened. He overheard a few students talking and said that one of the first-year students had injured himself during practice. Apparently he had fallen and broken his arm.

And then the paramedics came outside with the injured man and Yibo was shocked. Because it was Cheng who had his arm in a sling and was being driven to the hospital. He was of course worried about Cheng, especially after the nurse asked Yibo to tell one of the supervisors that Cheng would probably need surgery and would therefore have to stay in the hospital for a few days.

It was not until much later, when this shock over Cheng's accident had somewhat subsided, that Yibo thought about the coming day and the visit of the Paradise Academy students. Xiao Zhan would be there in less than 24 hours and now there was no one to introduce him and Zhan to each other! Full of worry regarding his own love happiness after helping Cheng and Seungyoun, he lay in his bed that evening wondering what to do now?
