After getting her luggage from baggage claim, Poppy types away on her phone, trying to find her friend. She has to stop a few times so some fans can take pictures with her, but thankfully she's left alone pretty quickly. Still, she can see the 'hidden' paps, trying to sneakily photograph her, but it doesn't annoy her that much.

The blonde smiles, looking up from her phone before she sees a smiling, tall, brunette- her hair recently dyed for her part- walking up to her. "Lizzie!" The blonde squeals, running up to Elizabeth, hugging her close. "Hi, I missed you!" She borderline yells, the older brunette laughing.

"I missed you, too, babe." She says, taking a step back to look at the blonde. "Still short, I see. Still pretty, too." Elizabeth comments, making Poppy roll her eyes.

"Short and pretty, that's my style." She winks, making Elizabeth scoff.

"Get your bags and let's go. We're late." She mutters, the blonde huffing but complying.

Once they're inside Elizabeth's car, Poppy's smile widens even more. The brunette chuckles. "You are so damn excited..." She mutters under her breath, smiling at her close friend. Poppy and her formed a very strong friendship filming Age of Ultron. The whole cast is incredibly close, and they welcomed the new members with open arms, but Elizabeth and her genuinely formed a sisterly bond that they never quite seemed to drop. The blonde nods, a giggle escaping her lips, before her friend speaks up again. "Excited to see someone in particular?"

Poppy sighs, trying her best to ignore the small smirk on her friend's face as she speaks up. "No, not really..." She mutters, nonchalantly shrugging.

"You sure? Not even a certain English ninete-" Elizabeth asks, making Poppy cut her off.

"Yeah, yeah, okay. Can we actually tal- Fuck, I forgot to text him." She cuts herself off, muttering under her breath as she pulls out her phone. She types, halfheartedly listening as Lizzie asks her what she's doing. "I told Tom I'd text him once I was out of the airport and I forgot to." She shrugs.

Poppy's gaze is pulled off of her phone screen when she hears Elizabeth giggling to herself. "What?" She mutters, a bit confused.

"You're texting him right after saying you weren't all that excited to meet him?" Elizabeth asks, making Poppy blush.

"You need to let me live." She states, trying to hide her red cheeks from her friend's gaze. "We're friends, okay? We can be just friends. I hate that there's this preconceived notion that guys and girls can't be just friends." She rambles, trying to subtly change the subject.

"Okay, same. And I know guys and girls can be just friends. But, the thing is, you two aren't." Elizabeth shrugs, smiling softly at her friend. The blonde is pouting slightly as she frowns, confused at her friend's words.

"We barely know each other. I can admit he's pretty cute..." After noticing the raised eyebrow Elizabeth is giving her, she rolls her eyes. "Okay, very cute, but I don't actually know him. Not yet, at least." She shrugs, making her friend smile.

"But, you're gonna." She smiles.
