"Why did you leave without letting me know about it"? Ethan asked as he walked in.

Sana locked the door and stood by the door, speechless.

" it doesn't make any sense . you can't run away from me sana" he said as he made his step towards her "i must be by your side and protect you at all time" he said.

Sana gulped and breathed out still mute.

"You are very important to me sana. I'll do anything to keep you company and make you smile" he said "you know him him, tzuyu chou" he paused as sana looked at him shocked. She never thought he would know about it, too soon.

"How...how did you know"? She finally spoke up.

Without saying a word he flipped a paper over at her and then it drawn to her clearly.

" i found it at the Williamson's restaurant two minutes after you had left and on the table" he said .

"Oh no" sana muttered.

"It says i miss you and want you back to myself again, tzuyu chou" he said with a sad smile. "Am i that invisible?" He asked as sana felt the word so much like a slap on her face, her eyes once again, grew teary. "Am i not important to have known the truth all this time"? He furthered asked the numbed sana.

He looked downwards and smiled as his words made sana feel bad.

" all this while i was with you, i did all of everything with my heart and hoped that someday, you won't see me as a stranger or a mere co worker at one of the most prestigious restaurant in town but as a friend who truly cares and despises lies with passion " he said with sudden tears rolling down his cheek.

Sana looked downwards, the whole time feeling every guilt.

"But then, i guess you just had to play along not to make me feel bad while your heart longed for a crook who doesn't care about you, who got engaged at the same restaurant you worked and right in front of you. And with all of that, you still run after him for what"? He said with anger and sadness in his eyes. Sana mustered the courage to look at him, she could tell how sad and anger he was, she said nothing.

Ethan looked downwards and nods.

" like my mom will always say, once you're no longer needed at a particular place, the signs are clear" he said and looked up at sana whose tears had covered her face. He smiled at her "i love you sana, you brought light into my world and all the whole time, i wanted to protect you but ....i think I'm no longer needed here anymore, I'll just go back to being myself" he said and turned to leave.

"Ethan...please, don't go" sana said. Ethan paused and scoffed, backing her still.

"And why? you don't want me. It's crystal clear" He said and made a step forward. Sana wasn't thinking straight at the moment, she felt that if Ethan lives her, then she might remain helpless. She ran towards him and hugged him from behind with her trembling voice as she cried.

"Please Ethan, don't go. I'm sorry" she cried "forgive me, i don't have anyone to look after me or protect me. Please stay with me" she said.

Ethan was touched by her words and he never wanted to see her cry. He wiped away his tears and turned to sana as she looked up at him, weaken.

"Promise me you won't leave me alone" she said.

Ethan's heart raced at her request and without hesitation he agreed.

"I promise, i will never leave you alone" he said and hugged her, sana closed her eyes and tired by the day's stress, fell asleep right there in Ethan's arms.
