The Trap is Set...let's get them down...

It's almost too easy.

The forest is eerily quiet, like the calm before a storm. Only this time, the storm isn't nature; it's me. I've spent hours perfecting this final trap—an intricate web of chaos that's going to tear the rest of Class 1A apart. They have no idea what's waiting for them.

My fingers twitch with excitement as I check the setup one last time. Explosives? Check..Bakugo is there no need for more.... Net traps? Check. Tripwires? Oh, I went all out. It's not just brute force this time; it's psychological warfare. I want them to feel like the walls are closing in, to make them doubt every step they take.

After all, it's no fun if they don't squirm a little before they fall.

There's something about being two steps ahead of everyone that just makes this entire game way more interesting. I mean, sure, being a hero is cool and all, but there's something deeply satisfying about outsmarting everyone—setting the perfect trap, and watching them walk straight into it without a clue.

Me: Alright, everyone, we're getting close. Let's stay sharp.

They don't even question me anymore...this time I am leading them all. There's a nervous energy among the group as we make our way through the forest, just as I've planned. My innocent, ever-so-helpful suggestions guide them exactly where they need to go... to their doom.

Bakugo's up front, naturally since he doesn't like to walk in front of me but hey I am directing them form behind cause watchout post and everyhting. Kacchan is charging ahead like a bull, too fired up to think straight. That's fine—Bakugo's always been more brawn than brain. He'll survive this because, well, that's just how he is. But the others? Not so much.

It's almost unfair.

I stay toward the back, observing. Shoji, Uraraka, Mina, and the others trail behind Bakugo, all of them trusting the plan I've "helped" put together. They're ready for a fight, for some dramatic showdown with Aizawa or Vlad.

But what they're not ready for... is me.

I trigger the first trap. A net flies out of nowhere, sweeping up Mina before she can react. She shrieks, flailing as she's pulled up into the trees.

Mineta: What the hell?!

Me: Mineta!

I rush forward like I didn't plan the whole thing. Another one is already trying to help him, using his arms to reach up and grab the net, but that's when the second trap goes off. A tripwire pulls tight under his foot, and suddenly a series of blunted arrows launch from the bushes, knocking him down before he can even blink.

It's beautiful.

Uraraka is next. She doesn't even see it coming—a blast of smoke surrounds her, and before she knows it, she's trapped in a cage made of sturdy vines and branches, courtesy of my handiwork. She looks at me through the haze, her eyes wide with confusion and—is that suspicion?

Uraraka: Deku—?

Me: I'll get you out!

Not.

But before I can even "try" to save her, the rest of the team charges forward, leaving her behind. It's only Bakugo, charging ahead like a man possessed, who doesn't look back.

The rest of the heroes are panicking now, and it's exactly what I wanted. It's chaos, pure and simple. Shoji is down. Mina's in a net. Uraraka's in a cage. The others are scattered, trying to regroup, but every step they take only pulls them deeper into my web of traps.

Then I see them—Bakugo's lieutenants, so to speak. Ojiro, Sato, Sato's hulking strength tearing through the branches. I guess it's time to get my hands dirty.

Let's have some fun, shall we?

I dart toward them, quirkless, but fast—faster than they expect. Tsu came at me, trying to knock me back, but I dodge, grabbing her tongue and flipping her over my shoulder in one smooth move. Her body hits the ground with a thud.

Me: Sorry, Tsu. Nothing personal.

Sato rushes me next, fists raised, ready to crush me with his strength. But I'm quicker, sliding under his swing and sweeping his legs from under him. He falls hard, and before he can recover, I'm on top of him, landing blow after blow until he's out cold.

I look around, catching my breath. The rest of Class 1A is struggling, stumbling through the traps like blindfolded kids at a birthday party.

Perfect.

Now, for the grand finale.

I climb up a nearby tree, taking in the scene below. From here, I can see it all—my handiwork in full display. The final trap is set, just waiting for Bakugo to trigger it. He's still charging forward, eyes blazing with determination, completely unaware that he's about to walk right into the final phase.

Wait for it...

Bakugo reaches the center of the clearing, and as soon as he steps forward, the ground beneath him explodes. But not with force—with smoke and flashes of light. He's not hurt, but he's disoriented, surrounded by a wall of smoke and sound, just as I intended.

I leap down, landing silently behind him. He doesn't even notice me, too focused on finding Aizawa, too convinced that he's the one in control of the situation. I could take him out now if I wanted to.

But what's the fun in that?

Instead, I turn and slip away, back into the shadows. Let him think he's won, that he's escaped my trap by sheer force of will. Let him believe he's the hero of this story. He'll charge forward, reckless as ever, while the rest of his team falls one by one.

By the time the smoke clears, it's over. The remaining students are down—captured, knocked out, or simply too confused to continue.

Bakugo's voice cuts through the chaos, shouting as he barrels forward, oblivious to the carnage behind him.

Bakugo: DIE, AIZAWA!

Good luck with that, Kacchan.

You're gonna need it.

I glance back one last time at the fallen heroes. They'll be fine, of course. This is just a game, after all. But still, the satisfaction of seeing them fall into every one of my traps is... thrilling.

I slip back to the safe base, where the remaining students, if any, are already regrouping. Uraraka's the only one who didn't fall into my traps—intentionally, of course. I'll need her later, after all.

But for now, it's time to play innocent again.

Me: Did... did we lose everyone?

Uraraka looks at me, her expression unreadable, but there's a flicker of suspicion in her eyes again. She doesn't say anything, though, just nods slowly.

Uraraka: Yeah... it's just us now.

Well, isn't that convenient?

I smile, putting on my best 'worried hero' face.

This game's not over yet.
