(Group of friends in the car on their way to the cabin)

Lamiya- It's getting Kinda late.

Aj- Speaking of late, isn't that how you landed detention, Angie?

Angie- At least I didn't get caught cutting class, CRUZ.

Cruz- But, I don't pick fights with people. Dashia?

Dashia- I don't take nothing from nobody, y'all know that. What I wanna know is why the hell Lamiya was up in detention?!

Lamiya- That is not your business and even if it was, I wouldn't tell you.

Jeff- Didn't you bring a weapon to school?

Aj- Damn, you brought a weapon? What kind?

Lamiya- (Getting upset) THAT is none of your business.

Cruz-(ignores her) Duhhh, I heard about that. Didn't you bring a gun?

Angie- I thought it was a knife.

Dashia- Damn girl, I did not expect that, especially from you.

Lamiya-Oh yeah? And how did Jeff land detention.

Jeff- I tagged along for the hell of it.

Lamiya- Can we just drop it? Please? I don't like talking about this, especially at this time of day.

Jeff- No, It's getting dark and creepy it's perfect!

(Everyone looks at Jeff freaked out)

Dashia- Uhh...yeah, are we almost there?

Angie- Uhh!! I can't wait!

Cruz- Hold on guys, I think we're here .

(Cruz takes a look around and parks the car)

Cruz- Aright, Help me get the chairs out from the trunk

(Everyone begins shifting chairs and chatting randomly)

Lamiya-It would probably be more efficient if we set up everything as we take it off the truck.

Aj- Lamiya, shut up.

Cruz- Just chill, it's not that serious.

Angie- I'm hella tired, can we just set up the chairs and have a bonfire.

Dashia- I agree with Angie. We just got here, we don't need to do all that.

Cruz-Same, a bonfire sounds pretty cool.

Aj-Yeah, screw that. I'm not trying to do a lot.

Jeff- I don't care what we do.

Lamiya-(sighs, exasperated) I guess, but we have to be careful because one wrong move could set the entire forest ablaze.

Angie- Uhh. okay.

(Aj and Jeff start collecting wood)

Angie- Who's going to light the fire, cuz I'm not going to lol.

Cruz- Girl, you know I always got a lighter.

Dashia- Girl, Duhh

(Cruz lights the fire and everyone sits.)

Angie- Who got the s'mores?

Dashia- Not me.

Cruz- I do.

Aj- Ay let me get some.

Angie- Here.

Jeff- Do you guys want to hear a scary story?

Cruz- Yeah, I ain't trippin

Dashia- Yas tell us

Angie- I want to hear it

Aj- Yeah, man go ahead.

Jeff- On April 18, 2013, The mysterious Forest Killer did his last strike before disappearing. He killed the 5 people he went camping with before the sun came up 2 days later. Rumor has it, he has come back for one final strike. They say he's planning on killing tonight in this exact same place in the exact same ways. AND WHEN HE DOES ...

Aj- Boo! (at everyone)

( Angie and Lamiya shriek in unison as everyone laughs)

Lamiya- That wasn't funny guys!

Angie- Yeah, you're an ass!

Aj- Yeah it was, you shoulda seen the look on your faces! Lamiya was like "AHHHH" and Angie looked like she pissed her pants. (Aj mimics their terrified expressions )

Angie- That's only because you caught me off guard!

Cruz- Come on, you know that there's nothing out here.

Jeff- I WASN'T DONE TELLING THE STORY!!

Aj- Jeff just stop, there's no such thing as the forest killer.

Dashia- No, Jeff's right, It was all over the news. The police said they caught him but they never showed his face.

Jeff- THAT'S A LIE! THEY NEVER CAUGHT HIM.

Angie- Wait, I've never heard of this.

Cruz- Yeah, you and Aj were at Noah's party.

Angie- Ohhh, yeah. Noah

Lamiya- Who's Noah?

Cruz- Don't worry about it. You don't need to know.

Aj- Ay that was fun, no lie.

Lamiya- Why do you guys always go to parties? Like can't you just sit down on a Friday night and read a book.

Aj- Uh no

Lamiya- Why not?

Angie- Because reading is not our thing. Red cups is our thing.

Dashia- I'm with them. I'm from the hood so you know how it is. But sometimes I know when to settle down.

(Everyone laughs except for jeff)

Jeff- I can't take it anymore! I'm going back inside. (walks away)

Lamiya- Good choice, my friend. I can feel my brain cells committing suicide.

Dashia- Jeff don't go

Angie- Yeah, we're sorry

(Jeff walks out)

Cruz- Aigght, more giggles for me aha.

Aj- It's cool, he'll get over it.

(Aj,Cruz,Dashia,Angie are having fun/dancing/turning up while Lamiya reads a book)

Angie- Come on Lamiya, we didn't bring you here to read.

Lamiya- Dancing isn't my thing.

Dashia- Lamiya, come on get yo ass up.

Lamiya- I'm not doing this. I'll see you all in the morning. (walks away)

Cruz- Haha, you a cat

(Everybody continues to have fun)

(Cruz- sitting/ Dashia and Aj talking/ Angie fixing her make up)

(Aj comes up to Angie and scares her)

Angie- Haa! (turns around) Stoop!

(Everyone laughs at Angie)

Dashia- Uh, my fat ass is tired.

Cruz- Sit down

(One by one starts sitting down)

Angie- I'm heading back inside.

Dashia- Wait for us, come on cruz let's go.

Aj- Let's sleep outside. Unless you're too scared.

Angie- Shut up, I'm not scared. It's just that I don't think Dashia and Cruz want to sleep out here.

Cruz- I'm cool with sleeping outside.

Dashia- Absolutely not, I am not sleeping outside nor am I sleeping inside by myself, what I look like the first victim.

Cruz- Right I feel you on that one! I'll just go in with you.

(Cruz leaves with Dashia to the cabin

Aj- I'll even let you sleep on the chair, "princess".

Angie- Whatever, only to prove to you I'm not scared.

(Everyone starts laying down/sleeping)

...(hours later)

Lamiya- Haaaa! (Screams)

(No one hears it)

(Morning: Dashia wakes up first to go pee)

Dashia- (Scratches arm, looks at arm) Damn it, I got mosquito bites. I needa go piss.

(Walks to bathroom)

(Walks back to room)

Dashia- You guys wake up! Lamiya and Jeff are missing. Guys wake up!!

Aj- Calm down, they're probably getting it on.

Angie- Yeah, I think it's kinda cute, Jeff and Lamiya are a thing.

Cruz- Can yall keep it down I'm trying to sleep.

Dashia- I guess yall right.

Aj- When am I not.
