The book starts in 2011, then does a timeskip to 2014


Danielle Nicole Cimorelli woke up one day in her bedroom, alone. Which was odd. Normally at least Lauren would be sleeping.

She got up, looking around. No one. 

Suddenly there was a knock at her door. She walked over to the door, and opened it.

"H-Hello?"

"Are you Danielle Cimorelli?"

"Y-Yes, how do you know me?"

"I'm officer Clara, with the police, your sisters have been kidnapped, and are at an unknown location."

"B-But they're the only family I have!"

"I understand that, which is why someone by the name of Stacy Hinojosa has agreed to take you in, until we find them."

Dani looked at them scared. 

"W-Where does she live?"

"In Utah, we'll be flying you there and stay with you until she picks you up."

"B-But all I've known is this small city! I can't move states!"

"I'm sorry, but you have too."

Dani nodded nervously. "But- my sisters-"

"We'll find them, I promise you." Clara said.

Dani finally gave in. "Okay.. when am I flying out?"

"Tomorrow at 3."

She nodded. "O-Okay..."

Dani closed the door and ran to her room. She then saw the shattered glass. 

"Why... didn't they take me..?" She asked herself before starting to pack.

The next day 


The 11 year old had finished packing and went to the airport. Officer Clara went with her.

The two flew to Utah, and a girl with brown hair and a blue and white stripped shirt walked up to them. "Hi! Is this Dani?"

Officer Clara nodded. "Yes, and until we find her sisters, you are her guardian. You must promise to-"

"Never abuse her, make her do illegal things, and not kill her. I promise to never do any of that."

Officer Clara nodded and Dani shyly walked forward.


This was defenitely gonna take a while to get used to.
