As you set your bag down on the kitchen counter, you sat down on the couch with a heavy sigh. Another long day at university again. You had to admit, your classes were interesting, but they weren't enough to satiate your curiosity. You were always a bright and curious person, as your friends typically liked to observe from you. You couldn't help yourself! Learning new things are the reason why the world always seemed so wondrous to you. From ocean creatures to horror movies, you liked to believe that you knew it all.

But the one thing you absolutely hated was presenting said topics in an academic setting.

Despite your inner voice screaming for you to take a break, you decided that it was best to get started on the research paper you were working on. For your research paper, you found it best to choose the topic on how Capitalism has shaped what it means to be 'American.' Yes, it was a topic that you were excited to learn about, yet it was going to discuss it with others, let alone your professor.

After a few hours of writing, you decided to take a break and play some old games from your favorite website.

" Yes! Cool Math Games is still up and running! " you exclaimed excitedly. Despite it being 2023, you still found it oddly comforting that your childhood hasn't gone away just yet. A few rounds of playing Balloon Tower had passed the time, but you really did need to get back to work.

Before you closed your laptop, however, something caught your eye.

" Fazbear's Fright: The Horror Attraction . . " you murmured to yourself. Now this had to be interesting. When you looked up the address of the amusement park, you noticed that it was only ten minutes away from campus. Not only that, but they seemed to be in need of a night guard to keep watch over the building. It all seemed so fascinating to you, but one sentence caught your eye though. "' Based off of the events that took place in Freddy's Fazbear Pizza ? ' Why does that sound so familiar? " you asked yourself. The thought was eating you up inside, so you allowed yourself a little more time on your break to research a bit on it before getting back to work.

It wasn't supposed to take the whole night, researching about what happened to the franchise, but by the time you finished reading the last paragraph of the tenth article about the happenings of 1987, it was already 3am in the morning.

" God, I should've been asleep by now, " you groaned regretfully, already dragging yourself to your bed. Stuck in your thoughts, you couldn't help but wonder if there were people who witnessed such horrific events, or at least heard about it during that time. Maybe you could interview them! Either way, you couldn't worry about that now. You needed rest.

After all, you had a big day ahead of you.
