Peni somewhat stiffened. She felt like she heard a name like that before, but with everything that's been happening she couldn't put her finger on it. Clara seemed to notice, "are you okay?" She asked. Peni snapped out of her sudden trance and looked at clara. "I-I'm fine. Just a bit shooken up after what happened just now." She said, glancing back up at the building, hoping to hear or see spider noir safe and sound. "It looked as if spider man did that to you but....he's dead, isn't he?" Clara said. "Y-yeah. I guess it's.....p-probably a new spider man" peni saw clara frown and roll her eyes. "Great. Another spider man to destroy our city." She said in a cold and harsh tone. Peni frowned, "you... don't like spiderman?" She asked.

"not really." Clara said, glancing at the ground.

"But he saved Brooklyn from people who-"

"Can we change the subject?" Clara quickly asked. Peni frowned, "Sorry" she says softly. "It's okay. I just don't like getting into the topic of him.." peni glances back up at the roof, her heart beating fast. Why couldn't she hear noir or sp//dr anymore? She wanted to go back up there, she wanted to see if noir was okay. But she felt like she couldn't move. She looked back at clara. "Anyway, i should get going. My dad will be wondering where i am..." she says. Peni nods, "it was nice meeting you" she says. Clara ran to the end of the alleyway, she looked back and waved goodbye before leaving. Peni felt her face heat up again. Her stomach felt strange and her heart was beating. "The hell..?" She felt her forehead, it didn't feel like she had a fever. Why did she feel this way all of a sudden?

She suddenly remembered about noir. She quickly climbed up a ladder on the wall to the roof. When she got up there, she saw nothing. "Noir?!" She looked around. There was no sign of him. She was about to call out again when she suddenly heard someone call out. "Peni!" She turned around and saw noir. He was clenching the side of his stomach. Peni felt her heart stop when she saw a red stain where he was holding his stomach.
