Clara brock approached the officer that stood in front of the heavily guarded prison. She stopped in front of him, "I'm here to see Eddie brock" she said in a quiet voice. The officer simply nodded and let her pass. Same thing every Friday. She walked down the hallway, passing by email cells. This part of the prison was heavily guarded, to keep out someone dangerous. She eventually stopped in front of a metal door at the end of the hall. She knocked on the door, watching a small metal slide on the door open up. The inside was dark, yet she could hear a voice. "Hello clara." She sighed, "hi dad..." she said in a dull tone, not exactly sounding happy to see her father. But this was the way it was. "How've you been? You haven't been going overboard as venom?" He asked. Clara rolled her eyes.

"No dad. I haven't. I've been doing what you said. Only going after bad guys" she leaned against the door and sat on the floor. "How....has your mother been?" The tone of Eddie's voice was concerning. "She's fine..." clara says, fiddling with her hair.

"Tell him the truth." A voice in her head said.

"No." She whispered. But eddie heard, "no what?" He asked. "Nothing dad." She said. As she glanced at the ground, she began to remember how she ended up here in the first place.
Her father fought spider man as venom. When the police came to arrest him, he quickly let venom to over to her. Ever since then, she's been the one fighting spider man, until his death. She then remembered what peni said, a new spider man. Her father had always told her that spider man wasn't a good a person as people claim he is. Her thoughts suddenly changed to peni. She remembered what had happened eariler that night. She was glad that she stopped those guys. She knew they took someone but she didn't expect it to be peni.

=flashback=

Clara watched as peni fainted, she quickly transformed back into her normal self and ran over to her. "Peni?!" She immediately began to untie peni. "Looks like you were lucky to have stopped those guys' venom said inside her head. "Shut it venom, just help me get her somewhere safe!" She pulled out bandages from her pocket and wrapped up peni's bleeding hand just as a black substance consumed her body. She picked up peni and jumped into the air, jumping from building to building.

=present time=

She felt her face heat up at the thought of peni. But she shook her head when she heard her father. "Clara, i know this is hard. You coming here and all. But i want you to remember..." he paused, sticking his hand out of the small slide door, clara held his hand. "You are venom." He said. She nodded and got up, letting go of her father's hand. "I got to go dad..." she says quietly. "I understand..." eddie nodded from inside his room. She watched as the small slide door closed. She began to walk away, glancing back at the metal door from time to time before leaving the prison.
