10 Things to do before the end of 2020
After Corona and Lockdown, 2021 is a new beginning. But how to begin? What should we leave behind? What should we take with us? Well... these are the answers you'll find in these 10 things to do before the end of 2020.
1. Value the importance of self-learned skills and habits during the lockdown
All of us have had new experiences during the lockdown. Some people now know the basics of cooking, some know how to deal with electrical gadgets while some have developed really beautiful hobbies. Don't leave them behind. Take them through the upcoming years with you.
2. Start reconnecting with nature ✔️
Most of us have been stuffed in our homes because of lockdown and avoided going outdoors. As a result, our connection with nature has been really low for a while. Take long walks, with the morning sun or the evening air. Play outdoors once again. Enjoy the shade of the trees. Reconnect with nature once again.
3. Get your life back on track ✔️
Staying at home all the time, most of the people have changed their schedules drastically. A healthy lifestyle has been changed to a lazy lifestyle. Start with your work, your hobby, your food breaks being back on time. Slowly but steadily try to bring normalcy back in your life.
4. Remember the challenges you've faced in covid ✔️
Staying at home, many people have faced different challenges. For children, studying with online lectures and no physical presence and for some adults, financial crisis. Many people didn't know how to cook during the lockdown. The lockdown was a seriously useful experience. So, rather than forgetting these challenges, learn from them.
5. Give your negative thoughts a rest ✔️
Don't let your optimistic spirit go down. Many were depressed during the lockdown. But now, it is a second chance. So, make your negative thoughts fly away and give a new opening for new positive thoughts to bloom.
6. Start making up for the lost time ✔️
Most people felt depressed about staying at home, missing their studies, not being able to meet friends, etc. So, start making up for it. Rather than feeling sad at this point, start afresh.
7. Reconnect with your friends ✔️
Not all of us were connected to many people during this tough time. Chatting, video calling, and sometimes a hi or a bye from a distance, were the only possible ways to have a conversation. Hold onto the people who were with you during these hard times.
8. Don't lose the connection with your family ✔️
Lots of fights yet lots of love was what most of us experienced during this tough time with our family. Staying at home, worried about our loved ones. Some were nearby while some were far away. So, don't forget your connections with your family. Still, give them as much time as possible. They are your strength during the worst.
9. Meet people but still take precautions ✔️
You should start meeting people now of course. But still remember, a mask covering your nose and mouth with a sanitizer in your pocket is a must. Though corona vaccines may soon come out. Still don't forget the necessary precautions.
10. Start anew ✔️
Now for all of us, it is a new beginning. Life before Corona was different and life after Corona is different with a new start. What I mean is move on from your previous life. Now it's a new slate. You can move on from your mistakes and go with a fresh start.
